Alright guys, I'll make this more easier. I'll post the Forbidden and limited list as my first two posts.

Have you seen all the crap they're trying to pull? They're banning all of the cards that "give you too much of an advantage," and are releasing weaker, suckier versions of the cards.

I personally cannot see why Monster Reborn or Raigeki are banned. Harpie's Feather Duster, yes. But Change of Heart? Dark Hole?

Too much of an advantage my butt.

Your looking at the advanced one. Advanced is for like... advanced stuff and traditional is like Friendly tournaments and casual play with your friends.

i really hate the idea of the banning... everyone works soo hard to get the cards then... well... *poof!* anyways, i know in april a few cards are coming back, and some are being banned *waves goodbye to change of heart and fiber jar* but at least mirror force and graceful charity are returning!!

By the way, has anyone seen the flaming eternity cards? O__O man, all ive gotten is lightning vortex so far...

Actually the Yu-Gi-Oh card game is one of the most broken card games out there, and it can't be denied. Now they are making you pay a price for certain cards, something we have seen in Card games like Pokemon, .Hack//Enemy, and Magic the Gathering. If you can't deal with it, don't play tournaments, simple as that. Just saying, casuals won't get you to the World Tournament if that's your goal...

I am still a big fan of the card game, Regardless of what they do to the Ban list, big deal, some cards can't be used, finding new ways to do the things those cards did along with newer better decks can be made w/o the same 15 cards in everyones deck.
Tournys are still fun and one day i'll be able to go to the World championships someday.

people usually play by the rules so they can get ready for a tournament or something. Or maybe they just like following directions, me - I like to follow directions.

it's rather simple. my friends don't follow the ban list. we don't go to sanction tornaments those who do have two decks.

It really pisses me off that theyve gotten rid of the best cards. I spent a lot of time and money for most of my cards and now my whole deck is blown to hell.Im not going to be able to get into official tournaments anywhere.Yes, I know your going to say "Well not a lot of people have money to buy cards with." Yes, I admit that, but think the Stores and Konamis prespective. Does it make sense to ban cards? They are going to see a hell of a lot less income because of these bannings because a lot of cards are not going to be in demand that someone buys a whole box just for a chance to get the cards. ((Yes, I know TONS of people like that, me included.))Goodbye profits. The game is going to be shot down to hell and the game is going to die out, just like most of the other trading card games. I, for one, do not wish to see this, as I spend almost all my spare time Playing the Yu-Gi-Oh card game. I never had so much fun with a game, and If I had the choice between Keeping the game alive and any other leisure The Yu-Gi-Oh card game has my pick. It may sound like I am exaggerating but I am dead serious.

It usually doesn't matter about the cards rarity, though a lot of rare cards are strong and have good effects, but I think it's the way you use your deck/cards. And you have to have a good strategy through-out the whole duel or else you'll make a move and then go "Oh crap, I should've done that!".

I'm making a tounament in my town. We're following the restricted list, but not the banned one. We're making our own. Some of those cards that're banned are understandable (Butterfly Dagger-Elma. Wondering why it is? PM me). But things like Monster Reborn, and the ones that came in the original starter deck shouldn't be banned.

Well monster reborn i agree isnt exactly a Cheap Game winning card same with Change of heart... but still i think we can all agree that Chaos Emperor Dragon should be banned and also some of those other cards on the ban list also deserve to be banned ( to Many cheap combo's.. Like with Butterfly Dagger Elma)
