Here's what I really want to know: All the known moves of all the Navis that have classic counterparts. I don't care what it does - it attacks, it heals, whatever. And by known, as in those names were either put into the games by Capcom themselves (with the kana, of course) or they were shown in the anime.
Now I just want a list of attacks, fellow fans. I'll deal with the "counterpart" issue later. For now, just the list, k? :] |
Sure, I can give you a list. :3 _________________ Here's lookin' at you kid. |

Here's V1 of my Navi attacks list, complete with kana: some might be wrong, so please check. I didn't include the attacks that have the same kanas as the ones in the classic series (thank you Rockman Complete Works :V )
I've marked the attacks to indicate how much I know them:
White means I've personally seen the attack and confirmed its true name,
Yellow if I haven't yet confirmed the name but have a preety good idea of what the attack does,
Cyan if I've confirmed the name only through the Anime (this includes the episode summaries I've read in REO updates and here in the fourms ^_^ I've only watched until EXE 40 and the restare video clips), and
Red when I have completely no idea.
I'm also going to revive the "default attacks" issue - that was the whole point of this thread. I've underlined the attacks which I feel are their signature attacks. If there's no underline then it's either I can't decide what the default attack is, the default attack is the one with the same name as the navi's classic counterpart, I know too little of the Navi's attacks to determine the default attack, or I've forgotten how the Navi fights :]
Of course, if a colored attack name is underlined then I'm not 100% sure on that. -_-;

Hmmm, so my guess is that not much has been found for Medi, Tomahawkman, Colonel's cape toss attack, [spoil:cc9ee1ab77]Blizzardman, Cloudman, Cosmoman, Footman, and Swallowman[/spoil:cc9ee1ab77] at the moment???

Don't Kana-fy made up or american attack names, that's as bad as Dr.K's made up attack list.
Ring Rang is Ring Boomerang in the Japanese version.
same as Ringman's attack.
Lightning Blast is Lightning Blaze.
Stone Change is an anime attack, those should be left out as well.
Boulder and Laser are his only moves.
Frankly, I don't see the point of putting the Japanese next to the attack names other than trying to look cool/intelligent, there really was no point behind it.
Windman doesn't have an attack called "Sparow Strike" "Bird Crash" how ever...
What happened to the rest of Shademan's attacks?
Why are you writing in kanji attacks that are usually written in Katakana?
Coffin Laser is かんおけ レーザー. Kaeru Punch is written in Katakana and has an exclamation point. Toad Recital is a made up name...
Again even putting "Spoiller" attack names in Japanese but not english was pointless as many people here can't read it, and alot of them are still made up.
Satelite Ray isn't a spoiler as it's in EXE 4.
Tama is never written as "tama" it's always been "Ball"バール Double Tower isn't a reall attack, he uses Flame and Aqua Tower seperately.
Hire is written in katakana
Checkmate Burst is a made up name...
Again with the "spoilered" Japanese names hardly anyone can read...
Forte's attacks are already well known, so spoiler was pointless yet again...
Same with Duo. not to mention you got his attacks wrong.
By the way, not translating attacks the way they're normally translated for the english version on purpose is dumb.
Edit: You spelled Serenade wrong in katakana, and got Proto's attack wrong. _________________ Here's lookin' at you kid. |

Knowing the Japanese attack names is one of my ways of showing my fandom to Rockman, not to mention that I can't completely trust names in the BN version.
I'm quite positive that Checkmate Burst, Lightning Blast, Double Tower, and Sparrow Strike are attacks, but I have only confirmed them on the anime. KingMan's attack was said by Kero on the episode that Netto and Torakichi fought. I think it was when viruses invaded NetCity and the Navis cannot use battle chips that ElecMan and ColoredMan said their attacks. As for Sparrow Strike, it's the one Wind Soul Rockman used to make NeedleMan plug out. I was actually not sure whether it's Sparrow or Swallow, but then I chose Sparrow after I saw the latest Navi contest winners.
Again, I'm replaying the EXE series. I've just started EXE3, and I have seen attacks that are supposed to be written in katakana instead of kanji. I was planning to correct after I finish replaying. I really want to finish it as fast as I can, because I can't remember anyone named Proto in the EXE3.
I know that most of the kanas are wrong (not to mention the attacks themselves), so that's why I'm asking for your help. This is just V1, after all.
And until new evidence says otherwise, I'll stick to the attack names I got from EXE5 for Duo and the others. Those three chips do resemble some of Duo's attacks from EXE4.
As for the spoiler part, I'm just playing it safe (Announcement: Label Spoilers - Or Risk Being Banned! We're serious!)
Anyway, thanks for clearing up some confusions here. I'll be sure to correct them in V2. And please forgive me for being "pointless" and "dumb" - I'm only a Navi -.- _________________ 闇の黒井心の本当のカ

Oi... don't pull the "Evil translators changed it" deal... the attack names are the same in both versions in most cases.
And I still don't think the Anime's names don't belong >.> _________________ Here's lookin' at you kid. |

Toadman says it in EXE5 when he brings down the doorway to the sixth Liberation Mission. It's basically he's version of Medi's Healing Pulse. |

It's "Checkmate" no burst. Just Checkmate.
"Bird Crash" is Windman's bird-based attack. _________________

Dunno if you still want these but a friend of mine has just returned from Japan and he has these attack names for all the EXE5 navis from two EXE5 guides. I'll give a very brief and undetailed description that should give you an idea which attack the name refers to:
[spoil:5808ef044b]Blizzardman:
-----------------------------
-Snow Rolling : A snowball down your row
-Blizzard Breath: The breath attack that creates ice panels.
