The Crest is a very enigmatic device. Could be a rip-off of the entire DarkChip scenario, but I think I'll wait before I pass judgment on it.

Now this is more like it. The quality that is comparable to that of the previous seasons. Keep it going.

Yes... this was slightly better than the previous two chapters...
Still not that good though, the whole thing seemed boring, like the last one and I don't like the Arcadia Crest at all.
It's gonna be a bit tedious to have three fights in a row against Elpizo too...

I'm a little hesitant about this Crest of Arcadia thing; it could easily become a Dark Chip rip-off with minor differences. But like MC I think I'll reserve judgment for now.

For some reason, these chapters haven't been able to hold my interest very well. You might want to spice the next one up a little.

Well, what I think of the story so far is pretty good. I hope that you keep up the good work with the third season of the story. By the way, I also liked with how you put both Lan and Maylu like a cute married couple. These Crests of Arcadia chips is a nice touch to the story. It wasn't bad for the last chapter that you added one of the characters from the MegaMan Zero series to the story as a navi. I hope that I get to see other characters of the series soon. What would you think about for the last season of the story? I hope that it's good. Well, later!

CHAPTER 3-4
Elpizo’s Wrath!

“Welcome to DenTech City Airport. The time is 10:47 AM and the temperature is eleven degrees Celsius, although it may feel colder due to wind chill.”

The passengers exited off the plane and entered the terminal.

“Have a nice day,” the flight attendants said as they bid farewell.

“Thank you.” A figure stepped off the plane and walked the ramp into the terminal. After going through customs, the figure drew a white and light purple PET out and looked at the screen.

“He’s here, alright. I can’t let him get away this time.”

Yai quickly opened the door and allowed Dex and Sean into the house. She swiftly closed it back and locked it.

“Jeez, it’s windy out there,” Sean shed his jacket and hung it on a hook before picking the grocery bags he had been carrying back up and taking them into the kitchen.

“Sorry, but I needed the ingredients to make lasagna for tonight,” Dex apologized. He and Sean set the bags down on the counter and Dex began to put things away. Meanwhile, Tory and Chaud were in the attic figuring out how they were going to move the furniture downstairs.

“The main problem is that the staircase leading up here to too narrow,” said the chestnut-haired NetBattler.

“How’d they get it up here in the first place, anyway?” asked Chaud, “Did they bring it up one piece at a time and assemble them here?”

While the two of them contemplated on how they were going move the furniture out, Lan had just come back with the frosted window for the bathroom.

“It’s too windy outside to install it today,” he said to himself, “I’ll just store it away for now.” He hung up his jacket and placed the window inside the closet under the stairs. After that, he went up to his room and sat down at his desk. Unhooking his PET case from his belt, he set it down on his work surface and placed his PET inside its charger, from which MegaMan transferred himself into Lan’s computer.

“It’s about time w got back,” the blue NetNavi sighed.

“Sorry, MegaMan. That wait just took longer than I expected. But hey, we’ve still got lots of time.”

“True enough. I want to use up as much available time as possible.” MegaMan held up his hand and several pixels gathered together into a green ball.

“That’s right,” Lan remembered, “You couldn’t play pixelball last year.”

“That’s why I wanna get in as much practice as possible before tryouts this year,” MegaMan replied as he bounced his pixelball from one foot to the next, “Hey Lan, set up the goal. I want to work on my trademark Mega Shot.”

“Gotcha, bro.” Lan typed on his keyboard and a few seconds later a pixelball goal appeared in front of MegaMan.

“MegaMan!” The emerald-eyed Navi turned around and saw GutsMan walking towards him.

“Hey, GutsMan!” he greeted, “What’s up?”

“Practicing pixelball?” asked GutsMan.

“Yep.”

“GutsMan practice with you.”

“Sure thing, GutsMan!” MegaMan gave his friend a big smile as the large Navi lumbered over to the goal.

“I’m setting up some practice programs,” Lan informed the two Navis. A few taps on the keyboard later, four Mr. Progs appeared.

“WE ARE READY TO HELP YOU, MEGAMAN!” they all cried enthusiastically.

“Damn it, do you guys always have talk in caps?” asked MegaMan.

“EVER SINCE THE ENTIRE NET WAS UPGRADED BACK WHEN LAN WAS STILL IN SIXTH GRADE.”

“Forget I asked,” MegaMan mumbled as he rubbed his ear through his helmet, “Alright, here it comes!” He bounced the ball along the floor from one hand to the next as the Mr. Progs approached. After the seventh bounce, as it was coming back up he spun around and kicked it hard with the sole of his boot. The ball went sailing forward, struck one Mr. Prog on the head, and bounced back towards MegaMan. The blue NetNavi then punched it back and knocked down another Mr. Prog. Upon its second return, he gave it a hard kick with his other foot and smacked it into the third Mr. Prog’s face. Once again, the ball came back towards him and this time he fired a shot from his buster. This time, when it bounced off the fourth one’s head, he shot the ball straight into the air. With a satisfied grin, he jumped up after it and fired his buster downward to give himself an extra boost. He performed a few somersaults in midair as gravity began to takes it effect on the ball.

I hope my timing’s right, thought MegaMan. He did one more flip, stuck out his leg. The height and angle were perfect as his foot connected with the ball and it sent streaking towards the goal. GutsMan moved to block, but the ball was too fast and slipped right past him.

“GOAL!” MegaMan landed back on the floor and held up his arms over his head in victory.

“Is that even a legal move?” asked GutsMan.

“Apparently, it is,” Roll answered as she came in carrying a copy of the pixelball rulebook.

“Hey Roll!” MegaMan greeted cheerfully.

“Hi, MegaMan!” Roll smiled warmly as she walked up to her boyfriend and he gave her a passionate kiss, “Getting ready for pixelball?”

“Yep. I’m going to make sure I’m ready for this year’s tryouts.”

“I hope you make it this year, MegaMan,” Roll wished as she wrapped her arms around MegaMan and rested her head on his chest, “I missed seeing you play.”

“I missed playing for you, Roll,” MegaMan whispered.

While the two Navis hugged, they were completely unaware that a Condoroid was perched high above them watching from the shadows.

Vincent watched the footage that the Condoroid was sending back to him when his received another call.

“Yes?”

“Vincent, you may have been successful in your last mission, but do not forget that there is still one who stands in our way.”

“Don’t worry about a thing, sir,” Vincent assured the person on the other end of the line, “I’ve got everything under control.”

“I seriously doubt it, which is why I’m calling you in the first place. Vincent, your next assignment is to eliminate MegaMan and his friends.”

“Don’t worry about it, sir. I have the Crest of Arcadia.”

“Do not underestimate them even with the power of the Crest of Arcadia. It is not as omnipotent as you may want to believe.”

“Relax, sir. You worry over this far too much.” The transmission ended and Vincent stood up. He grabbed his coat and left the abandoned house he had been using as a hideout. It was time for him to finish off MegaMan once and for all.

“First we’ll send an e-mail to MegaMan and invite him out to where we can trap him and his friends,” Vincent said as he went over his plan.

“Too obvious,” replied Elpizo.

“Then you capture one of MegaMan’s friends and we’ll send a ransom note.”

“That works just as well.”

* * *

It was around four o’clock when the attack came. Nobody suspected anything. MegaMan was busy practicing pixelball to notice the Bombnets, Garums, and Condoroids in the area until they attacked. Everyone else was in the living room watching TV until Lan burst in.

“Guys, we’ve got Elpizo’s viruses again!” Right on cue, Chaud and Sean jumped up and ran after Lan while the others just followed for the sake of showing their support.

“Mega Buster!” Purple plasma shots burst from MegaMan’s buster as he fired at the hordes of viruses that were gathering around him.

“We’re here, MegaMan!” Axl announced as he and ProtoMan landed next to the blue NetNavi. Shortly after, Roll, GutsMan, Glyde, and IceMan joined them.

“We’re here to help, MegaMan!” Glyde informed the Net Savior Navis.

“We must protect this house!” yelled IceMan.

“And that’s why we’re doing it together!” Roll finished as GutsMan pounded his chest.

“Thanks guys.” MegaMan smiled, “Now let’s get ‘em! Mega Buster!” His shots pierced the bodies of several Bombnets and he watched them fall before they were deleted.

“Roll Arrow!” Roll morphed her hand into her bow and fired a pink heart-shaped arrow that impaled an entire row of Condoroids like a kebab.

“Guts Hammer!” GutsMan’s fists slammed against the floor and sent out a powerful shockwave that deleted a large number of Garums.

“Blizzard!” IceMan’s bone-chilling attack struck a trio of incoming Condoroids and turned them all into solid blocks of ice.

“SuperVulcan Battlechip in, download!” Yai slid the chip from her custom menu over onto Gylde and watched as her Navi’s right arm changed into the red and gold gattling gun.

“SuperVulcan!” Glyde unleashed a volley of bullets and erased several Bombnets and Garums.

“Axl Gun!” Axl moved his weapon back and forth in a slow figure eight and fired a nonstop stream of plasma bullets, hitting every single target in front of him. Meanwhile, ProtoMan had jumped straight into the fray and was cutting apart every opponent that came within reach of his sword. Rush conveniently decided to join the fight and called on masses of Mettaurs, Spikeys, Swordies, and KillerEyes to help them fight off the foreign viruses.

While the fighting went on, the NetNavis failed to notice Elpizo as he silently entered the system. He stayed hidden in the shadows and examined each of his targets carefully through a pair of binoculars as he tried to determine which one he should capture. MegaMan, ProtoMan, and Axl were out of the question since they were the ones he was trying to destroy. GutsMan was also not up for consideration; he would be too heavy to take away. Kidnapping Roll would give the whole plan a ‘damsel in distress’ feel to it, but when Elpizo saw how hard she was fighting he decided to stay away from her. Glyde was another possibility, but the blond swordsman took note that he was using quite a large number of rare and powerful chips, so he decided to scratch that idea. IceMan was small so that would make him easy to capture. However, the swordsman noted that his Blizzard made and excellent close-range defense. That left just one option. Stealthily, Elpizo made his way to the ground. Using the Garums to camouflage him, he snuck towards the group. As soon as he was close enough, he held out his sword and knocked Rush hard on the head with it. The dog virus barked and whimpered once before collapsing. However, his cries did not go unheard as the Navis turned around towards his direction.

“Rush!” Roll shrieked. Elpizo laughed as he picked up Rush and tucked him under his arm.

“Elpizo!” MegaMan turned his buster away from the viruses and pointed it straight at the evil Navi.

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you,” Elpizo cautioned, “unless you want to hit your canine friend.” There was a moment of silence before MegaMan groaned in frustration and lowered his buster.

“What do you want?”

“Have your operators come and meet mine at the abandoned fishery at the harbor at five o’clock,” Elpizo commanded, “I just want you, ProtoMan, and Axl. Your friends are to stay here. And don’t bring any police or Officials. Otherwise, the dog gets it. See you then.”

ELPIZO LOGGING OUT

As Elpizo left, so did his viruses, leaving the Navis alone inside the computer.

“This is definitely a trap,” ProtoMan muttered.

“But we have to go to save Rush!” MegaMan argued.

“Besides,” added Axl, “When have traps ever stopped us? I mean, come on. We find booby-trapped mystery data online every day.”

“Axl’s right,” Sean sighed, “There’s no other way. But let’s make sure we bring our best chips. Vincent and Elpizo are most likely going to use the Crest of Arcadia again, so we’ll have to be prepared.”

“We can lend you some of our chips,” Maylu, Dex, Yai, and Tory offered.

“Thanks,” Lan replied. “Okay, let’s do it.”

Ten minutes later, the three Net Saviors were out the door with their jackets and after a forty-three minute drive, they arrived at their destination.

“Chaud, you should really consider getting a four door,” Sean said to the skunk-haired Official as he climbed out from the backseat via the driver’s side.”

“I’ll consider it. Now come on.” The wind was even stronger out in the open next to the sea as the three of them braved it and the water that was kicked up by the wave. They made their way to the abandoned fishery and entered through an open side door. The entire building was nothing more than an old warehouse filled with boxes, crates, and several old machines.

“I’m so glad you could come,” Vincent called to them as he walked out onto a catwalk on the opposite wall.

“Where’s Rush?” demanded Lan.

“Impatient, aren’t we? He’s safe for now,” Vincent assured them, “But first we must settle our score. Come on up.”

Reluctantly, Lan, Chaud, and Sean climbed up the stairs and traversed across the catwalk. Vincent smirked as he disappeared through a door and led the Net Saviors onto the roof of the fishery. Sean was the first of the three to come out and he immediately flipped up his collar and zipped up his windbreaker all the way. The others took this as a cue to prepare themselves before stepping outside onto the roof.

“A bit chilly for you?” Vincent mocked, “Don’t worry. This will be all over soon and you can go back home to your warm house. Without your NetNavis, that is.”

“Let’s just get this over with!” Chaud shouted over the roar of the wind.

“Very well!” Vincent shouted back. He pointed his PET at a crane and motioned over towards it. The Officials nodded and took out their own PETs.

“Jack in!! MegaMan, power up!”

“Jack in!! ProtoMan, power up!”

“Jack in!! Axl, power up!”

Three lasers hit the sensor and all three Navis were deposited inside the crane’s system.

“We shall end this today!” Vincent announced, “Jack in!! Elpizo, power up!” He quickly beamed in his own Navi and Elpizo landed opposite from the other three. Beside him, Rush also appeared bound to a log.

“Rush!” MegaMan prepared to run towards the virus, but he quickly stopped himself in his tracks.

“You can have him back when you defeat me,” Elpizo declared.

“Fine. We will!” MegaMan, ProtoMan, and Axl formed their weapons and prepared to fight. Elpizo smirked.

They’ve taken the bait, he thought.

“Let the battle begin!” announced Vincent, “Crest of Arcadia Battlechip in, download!”

“He slotted in the Crest of Arcadia at the beginning of the battle?!” Lan exclaimed.

“You know what they say! Always start off strong!”

Inside the system, a white glow surrounded Elpizo as his icon was replaced with the Crest of Arcadia and his eyes were tinted red.

“Prepare to be deleted.” Elpizo chuckled evilly as his clothes were replaced with white armor. He grabbed the hilt of his sword and unsheathed it, the blade now transformed into a solid beam of energy.

“HeroSword Battlechip in, download!” Chaud wasted no time in downloading a chip and ProtoMan’s hand transformed into a long-bladed sword. He ran towards Elpizo and swung his weapon, but the white-armored Navi blocked it with his own and pushed him away.

“AntiSword Battlechip in, download! Soul Unison: Red Soul Battlechip in, download!” MegaMan's gloves slid off his hands as a pair of red gauntlets with spines along the outer sides took their place. His boots broke apart into bits of data and reconfigured themselves into sleek red ones with spines along the shines and at the top. His icon flashed as red armor formed over his torso. Shoulder pads studded with horn-like spikes replaced his own and his power pack vanished. Finally, his helmet vanished and was replaced with a form of protective red headgear that allowed all of his navy-blue hair to stick out.

“Crimson Vortex!” MegaMan held out his hand and raised his hand as he summoned a red tornado up from underneath Elpizo. Once that was done, his arm blades slid out and he ran towards the blond Navi and slashed.

“Pathetic!” Elpizo laughed as he blocked with his left arm and countered with his sword, only to have it parried by MegaMan.

“You know, these blades make perfect assassin weapons, you know that?” the blue-haired Navi smirked as he ducked and took a swing at Elpizo’s leg. He succeeded in leaving a gash in one of his shin guards, but he couldn’t escape when his opponent brought his blade down. Fortunately for him, the AntiSword Lan had downloaded early kicked in and he caught Elpizo’s sword between his hands. He smirked as he shoved him back and retaliated with three Sonic Booms from his newly formed sword. Elpizo backed off as he was hit and took a few leaps back.

“Come hither!” he called as he summoned two Condoroids and sent them at MegaMan.

“Boomer1 Battlechip in, download!” Axl’s left hand quickly morphed into a boomerang launcher and he threw the angled projectile forward and watched as it arced through the air and sliced the two bird-like viruses apart.

“NeoVariable Battlechip in, download!” ProtoMan held up his hand and his HeroSword was replaced by the NeoVariable sword.

“Is that all you’ve got?” Vincent taunted, “You underestimate the power of the Crest of Arcadia!”

“Don’t you worry about it!” Sean yelled over the wind, “We know what we’re doing. ElecGospel Battlechip in, download!” Right on cue, Axl’s hand morphed into Gospel’s head and he unleashed a sparking yellow blast of energy that completely engulfed Elpizo. Following the attack, ProtoMan dashed in and swung his NeoVariable sword as he passed the white-armored NetNavi. A chunk of Elpizo’s armor fell off and he collapsed onto one knee.

“Impressive,” he gasped, “but you still have yet to overpower the Crest of Arcadia. Viral Orbs!” Several black orbs appeared around Elpizo and they floated towards the Net Saviors. Axl quickly formed his visor and did a quick scan on them.

“Guys, don’t let those things touch you!” he warned his friends, “They’ll sap your energy and give it straight to Elpizo.”

“Then let’s take care of them,” Lan announced, “Soul Unison: Junk Soul Battlechip in, download! Two RockCube Battlechips in, download!” As Junk Soul replaced Red Soul, two RockCubes landed in front of MegaMan and he used the Poltergeist to throw them at the energy balls. The stone blocks successfully cancelled them out and he switched back to his normal mode.

“Perhaps I should strike down the redhead, first,” Elpizo sneered as he stood back up, “It appears that he has scanning abilities and the legendary Gospel chips at his disposal.” Raising his sword over his head, he slammed it against the floor and sent a shockwave that tore up the surface and sent debris flying everywhere.

“We can do this!” Sean said to Axl.

“Then lay it on me!” the redheaded Navi called as he raised his visor. Sean reached into his pocket and produced three chips.

“BassV3 Battlechip in, download! AntiNavi Battlechip in, download! WoodGospel Battlechip in, download!”

“DARK MESSIAH!” The copies of Bass and Gospel appeared behind Axl and they unleashed their deadly dual attack on Elpizo, engulfing the shockwave and the debris and completely swallowing up the white-clad warrior.

“You got him, Axl!” MegaMan cheered.

“Good job,” ProtoMan congratulated.

“Normally, I’d say it was nothing,” Axl replied as he scratched the back of his head, “But in this case, it actually took a lot of effort.”

“Come on,” said MegaMan, “Let’s log out.”

“Don’t think the battle’s over yet!” Vincent called just as Lan, Chaud, and Sean were able to jack out their Navis.

“What are you talking about?” Lan yelled, “We wasted your Navi!”

“Or did you?” A loud scream alerted everyone back to their PETs as MegaMan was blasted back. A menacing laugh echoed as everyone turned to the column of smoke that was billowing up from where Elpizo had stood. From the cloud emerged a newer, more powerful looking, version of the blond Navi. His body was now a thin frame encased in blue armor. Two thin arms spread out from his shoulders and ended in a pair of white-gloved hands. His head was encased in a blue crested helmet with his hair flowing out from the top, but a lock still covered the right half of his face. He had no legs, but his body was supported by two pairs of black three-pointed wings. Two serpents made of energy floated around his body as he hovered over his enemies. Elpizo looked down at them and sneered as the Crest of Arcadia formed on his forehead.

“As long as I possess the power of the Crest of Arcadia, I cannot be destroyed!” he bellowed, “Now die!” His wingtips lit up and he fired a dozen golden energy balls at the Navis.

“Alright then,” Lan began, “Barrier200 Battlechip in, downlo…” A sudden gust of wind knocked him off balance and the chip flew from his hand.

“Damn it, no!” Lan tried to catch the chip, but his hand grabbed thin air as it fell off the edge of the roof.

“Lan, I need help!” MegaMan screamed, “NOW!”

“The Crest of Arcadia cannot be defeated!” Elpizo laughed. He placed his hands together and sent out a pair of spiraling orbs at Axl. The redheaded Navi braced himself for impact and was knocked away.

“AXL!” Sean screamed his Navi’s name as he watched him get pummelled by more orbs.

“Quick, ProtoMan!” Chaud called, “Program Advance: FireSword, AquaSword, ElecSword, BambooSword Battlechips in, download!”

“Element Sword!” ProtoMan swung his sword and delivered four elemental slashes with the Program Advance, but nothing seemed to affect Elpizo’s new form.

“Pathetic.” The winged Navi knocked ProtoMan away and bombarded him with the same attack he had used on MegaMan. The grey-haired Navi crashed against the floor and landed in a pile with MegaMan and Axl.

“Elpizo, finish them off,” Vincent ordered.

“With pleasure.” Elpizo created a ball of energy in his hand and prepared to fire it.

“Say good-bye to your Navis!” laughed Vincent.

“No,” Lan pleaded, “This can’t be the end! MEGAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!”

“Thunder Crash!” Suddenly, a blast of white lightning shot down and hit Elpizo hard, causing his energy ball to dissipate.

“What was that?” he demanded. Lan opened his eyes and looked at his PET display, relieved to find that MegaMan and the others were still okay.

“I made it just in time!” Lan, Chaud, Sean, and Vincent turned their heads towards the same direction. Standing a ways away between the two parties was a figure holding a white and light purple PET. The figure’s head was covered by a grey hood, but judging from the overall build Lan could see that it was male. Black pants and white velcro-bound shoes were clearly visible and a blue and grey sweatshirt could be seen underneath the green wool Sherlock Holmes style cape that was wrapped around the figure that covered everything down to and including his waist from the wind.

“So you’re the one who attacked Elpizo,” Vincent assumed.

“Correct.”

“You shall regret that.” As the wind continued to blow, Lan managed to catch a glimpse of purple beneath the newcomer’s cape and he recognized him immediately.

“NOAH!” The figure reached up and pulled off his hood.

“Hiya, Lan! Long time, no see!” It was Noah. The child prodigy walked over from the edge of the roof with his Sabata plushie tied securely to his belt by its scarf.

“Noah, what are you doing here?” asked Lan.

“Saving your hides,” Noah answered with a bit of a chuckle, “Lumine, it’s our turn now.” Inside the crane’s system, a Navi about a head shorter than MegaMan walked in. He was dressed in white armor, gloves, and boots overtop a black bodysuit. A powder-blue pentagon set inside a black circle surrounded by a light purple ring emblazoned his chest as his icon. He wore no helmet, but rather a white microphone headset instead. Light purple hair covered his head and extended out back while a lock covered the right half of his face. He looked up at Elpizo with his piercing orange eye and stared.

“Just as we had expected,” he said in a child-like voice, yet in a very mature tone, “You and your operator are here after all, Elpizo.”

“What do you mean?” Elpizo demanded, “I have never met you before and my operator certainly hasn’t met yours.”

“That doesn’t matter. I’m here to bring you down.”

“We’ll see about that,” Elpizo sneered as his wings shimmered once again and he fired another dozen golden orbs.

“Watch out!” MegaMan warned.

“Don’t worry.” Noah took out a Battlechip and inserted it into his PET, “Zero-Shift Battlechip in, download!” As the golden orbs came closer, Lumine suddenly dashed out of the way and the attack struck nothing but empty floorspace.

“You need to be faster than that,” the purple-haired Navi taunted.

“One question, Noah,” Sean began, “Where did you get your Navi?”

“He was a gift from the Officials in Netopia,” answered Noah, “Lumine, Program Advance! Salamander, Fountain, Bolt, GaiaBlade Battlechips in, download!”

“Master Style!” Lumine split up into four copies of himself, each a different color corresponding to each element, and they all dashed in and started attacking Elpizo from every direction. After several hits, they all fused back into one and Lumine unleashed a powerful blast that shook the whole area and dealt heavy damage to Elpizo.

“Damn you!” The dark Navi cursed.

“Z-Saber Battlechip in, download!” Lumine attacked again and slashed thrice with the Z-Saber, the third cut severing one of Elpizo’s wings from his body.

“Lumine, ready to end this?” asked Noah.

“Let’s finish it,” Lumine concurred. Noah took out another chip and held it high over his head.

“Gun Del Hell Battlechip in, download!” He brought his arm down and slid the chip into his PET. Lumine held out his hand and a black and red version of the Gun Del Sol appeared.

“Is that what I think it is?” asked Sean as he stared as his PET display.

“Yes, it’s a Dark Gun chip. Lumine, you know what to do.”

“Yes, sir,” Lumine replied as he raised his free hand over his head, “Ankoku!” Gathering up dark energy, Gun Del Hell’s Chaos Battery was quickly charged up and he pointed it at Elpizo. He pulled the trigger and several fired several dark shots at him.

“II can’t be defeated!” Elpizo gasped.

“Don’t count on it,” Lumine smirked as he held out his Dark Gun and held down the trigger. A black ball appeared in front of the barrel and slowly grew into a hole. Upon its completion, it quickly sucked in Elpizo and trapped him inside.

“Now!” Noah yelled, “Hit him!”

“You’ve got it!” Lan replied, “MegaMan, Style Change! Hub Style!” Hub’s body was engulfed in radiant light as his bodysuit and armor changed to radiant green and his stripes and yellow parts shimmered. He morphed his hand into his buster and charged up.

“Charged Hub Shot!” A powerful blast erupted from his weapon and pieced Elpizo’s midsection. The four Navis watched on as his body was deleted.

“It’s over!” Lan declared as the wind finally started to calm down.

“No, it cant’ be!” Vincent cried in disbelief, “How could Elpizo have been defeated? The Crest of Arcadia is all-powerful!”

“It’s only all-powerful to those who can wield its power properly!” a new voice rang out. Everyone turned and looked towards the roof of the warehouse next to the old fishery. Standing near the edge were four people. The one on the far left was a man in his early twenties with messy brown hair and brown eyes wearing a camouflage tank top, sandy-yellow pants, pale yellow shoes, and a pale yellow jacket with the World Three logo on the back. A pendant bearing a white diamond surrounded by green wings hung from around his neck – most likely his NetNavi’s icon. The one next to him was a boy the same age as Lan with black hair and cobalt-blue eyes. He was dressed in black jeans, black socks, black sneakers, a black T-shirt with the Gospel insignia on the front, a black vest with the Gospel insignia over the left breast, a pair of black fingerless gloves, a black baseball cap emblazoned with the Gospel insignia, and a black sweatband on his right wrist bearing an icon that looked like a blue shuriken. Next to him was a young boy, probably no older than fifteen years old, with white hair, green eyes, and a gentle look on his face. He was dressed in a red uniform that consisted of red pants, black knee-high boots, and a red high-collared coat that extended down to his knees. His right shoulder bore the logo of the Dark Chip Syndicate Nebula, but a red band on his left arm showed two yellow spikes pointing upward against a red background surrounded by a yellow ring. The last person was a young woman with long blonde hair reaching down to her waist. She wore a white tube top, a white skirt, a white vest, white high-heel boots, and white arm warmers. Hanging from the choker around her neck was a pendent resembling the logo of the Dark Nation NetTerrorist group while on her belt was the image of a coiled up ice dragon as she looked down with violet eyes. Lan, Chaud, Sean, and Noah looked at the quartet and analyzed every one of them.

“Oh my God,” Chaud muttered, “it’s the four horsemen of the apocalypse.”

“Who are you?” Sean demanded.

“People know me as Waya World Three,” the yellow-clad man answered.

“Name’s Greg Gospel,” the black-clad teen replied.

“I’m Nicol. Nicol Nebula,” the red-uniformed boy introduced.

“And I’m Diana Dark Nation,” the white-clad woman finished.

“Dear God, they’re dressed like the four horsemen AND they’re fanatics of all the organizations we’ve fought,” Lan muttered.

“Vincent, your part’s over now,” Waya called to the one-eyed man.

“What?” Vincent exasperated, “You can’t do this! I’ a valuable asset to our team.”

“Sorry, old man,” Greg mocked, “You’ve already served your purpose. Diana, care to make a contribution?”

“It’s already done,” Diana replied, “The DenTech Police should be here any minute to get him. Vincent VILE, you are hereby discharged from the organization.” Vincent’s face was a mask of desperation as he looked at the four.

“Nicol, you’re turning your back on me, too?” he asked. Nicol was silent for a moment.

“I’m sorry, Vincent,” he finally said, “But we have to abide by the rules.” The four then turned to the Net Saviors and child genius.

“We’ll meet again,” Greg called out to them and with that, the four of them walked off. Vincent collapsed onto the roof and turned himself over to look up at the sky.

“They left me,” he whispered.

"Come on, let's go home," Lan said to the others. Inside the crane's system, MegaMan untied Rush and all four Navis logged out.

“So you finished touring the world promoting your anti-bullying campaign already?” asked Lan as they rode back home in Chaud’s car.

“That’s right,” Noah answered from the backseat.

“When did you arrive?” asked Sean.

“This morning.”

“Where’d you get the cape?”

“It was a gift when I was in Kingland.”

“So why did you come back?” Chaud inquired.

“Well, I was following Vincent’s trail and that led me back here to DenTech City,” the white-haired boy answered, “But that’s just one of three reasons. Another one is because this city’s sort of been a home to me, since I spent a good majority of my life living at Mugen.”

“What’s the third reason?” asked Sean.

“I also came back to complete my education.” Chaud suddenly stepped on the brakes and stopped. At first, everyone thought that he was surprised by the response but then they realized that they had just stopped at a red light.

“You see, the last time I was studying at Mugen, I had just completed about three years’ worth of work. So I’m planning to finish it off and earn my Ph. D.”

“Are you going back to Mugen?” asked Chaud.

“Heck no. I’m going to study at Den University.”

“But aren’t registrations already closed?” Sean questioned.

“Yes, but I had already registered in April,” Noah said proudly, “So, where’s my room going to be?”

“What do you mean your room?” asked Chaud.

“I am staying with you guys, after all.” Everyone looked straight at Noah.

“What?” he asked, “Didn’t you get the e-mails I sent you?”

“No,” the three replied simultaneously.

“Well anyway, I did. And I had my stuff taken to your place from the airport.”

“Wait a second,” Lan stopped, “You know about the house?”

“I do now.” Noah grinned widely as Lan banged his head on the dashboard.

“I can’t believe I fell for that,” he groaned.

“Well, let’s hurry up!” Noah said excitedly, “I can’t wait to see everyone again!”

Hmmm...bringing out the big guns early. Certainly much more attention-grabbing than that of the previous three chapters. Make sure you have ammo for the rest of the season, though.

I am still waiting on more information to judge the Crest--but for now, I am going to leave my stance on it at slightly less than neutral.

I do not know what I should be feeling for the entry of Noah. As much as I despised him, I am tempted to think he will provide some benefit to the story.

Did you have to use such alliterative antagonists' names?

Anyway...I'll wait on my brain to analyze it more deeply.

I finally stopped being a lazy bum, and started to review one of your new chapters, the Organization fanatic group, is very interesting, but the names are kind of corny. Noah's return was a nice turn of events, but the way he returned gave me a sort of last hope feel to it, and I'm not really partially to different nations giving Noah gifts. So overall a good chapter.

I honestly didn't know whether to rejoice or scream when Noah showed up. The way he was introduced did seem a little standard. I'll have to wait and see what kind of role he plays in this before I pass judgment.

Pretty good chapter, but I'm not sure how I feel about the four new evil people you've introduced.
I am happy that the Crest of Arcadia can be beaten, but it seemed too abrupt. What I mean is that the saviors failed to beat Elpizo, but a former villain turned friend returns all of a sudden and shows them all up by beating vincent with a navi whom he just recieved.
But anyway, I do have a good feeling about this season so far, and hope that you continue to keep up the awesome work.

I agree with SearchmanX. It is kind of hard to believe that one navi severely damaged another that didn't get a scratch from a combination attack of three PA's at once. Despite that Megaman finished off Elpizo with his Hub Charge Shot, you made it look like Noah's navi did much more damage than Protoman, Axl, and Megaman combined. Also the fact that three navis that faced and defeated the Omega Virus were defeated by a single navi only serves to puzzle me even further.
