My first fanfic(out of my 11)is a crossover as well. Please read and leave whatever feedback! Oh, and this will contain original characters, as well as some characters from the Night Warriors(DarkStalkers). Please, read! It's pretty long, btw.

Chapter 01:How to battle with a strange teenager.
Netto checked the tournament board. According to it, his next opponent was a female navi named Terra. "Could this be...?" Rockman replied "No, I don't think it's the same Terra from the StarDroids Incident*" "You're right, that Terra was male." All of the sudden, a voice echoed out:So, you are my next challenge? The voice sounded like a small blend of Netto's own voice, and Yuuichiro's voice. Netto looked around. "Rock, did you hear that?" "Yeah. What was that?" Out of nowhere, a blue light appeared, the blue light vanished, and in it's place, was a kid about 3 years older than Netto. The kid had a face that looked a little similar to Netto's, but the eyes were a blood red. Also, the boy had blond hair and no headband. His body looked very odd, a little similar to Forte's but brighter and with no stripes or shoulder spikes. There was also no emblem on his chest. Like Forte, he wore a cloak, but it wasn't a tattered one. It was a perfect looking one. The boy said "so you are Netto-kun and Rockman. I'm pleased to meet you." Then, with a smile, he said "My name is MuraMasa. I'm your next opponent in this tournament." Netto said "Glad to meet you to, but exactly how did you do that trick with the blue light?" MuraMasa swished his cloak to his back. "I'm a psychic." Then, he took out a PET. "Netto, how about sending Rockman into that computer over there?" He said pointing towards a statue that was actually a computer. "Terra wants to meet Rockman." Netto wondered about it. "This could be a trap, but oh well." "Alright." He responded. As they both plugged in their navis, MuraMasa wore a downcast expression. "If only I could tell him." He thought. Netto looked over and saw his expression. "Something wrong?" He asked. MuraMasa snapped back to attention so quickly that he got one of his arms tangled in his cloak. "N..No, not at all."

Rockman entered the computer. It was an impressive server, with one of every message board in the world. He saw a young girl navi over by the Anime Message Board. She was a very impressive navi, looking exactly like a human. She had blond hair that was all the way down to her waist, and blue eyes. She had goggles on her head, but they weren't pulled down over her eyes. She also wore yellow finger gloves, tennis shoes, yellow shorts, and a black long sleeve shirt that had a giant T emblazoned in the middle, surrounded by a circle. It was amazing how human she looked. Rockman walked over to her, and asked very friendly ''Are you Terra?" the girl turned around and smiled. She said "So you're Rockman! Yeah, I'm Terra." After they shook hands, Rockman asked "Why does MuraMasa's body look like a navis?" Terra opened her mouth to speak, But before she had the chance, MuraMasa suddenly appeared IN THE CYBERWORLD and said "I'll take care of this one, Terra." Rockman and Netto we're very surprised. Netto asked "How the heck did you get in the cyberworld?!?" MuraMasa smiled slyly. "I am half-human, half-navi. SciLab's greatest creation." Rockman said "So you're an artificial human?" MuraMasa laughed, as if someone would laugh at a ridiculous idea. "No. When Scilab was still trying to find out more ways to improve human and navi relationship, they thought of an idea to create a virtual body for humans to enter the Net with, allowing them to be closer to eachother." Netto lost his train of thought. "So, you're one big virtual body?'' Rockman, Terra, and MuraMasa all sighed with perfect unison. Rock then said "No, I think he's the end result of the project." MuraMasa looked a little forlorn at those words. "The project was succesful only by a short amount. As a result, my body became half of a navi, and we were using a clone of the Forte for the project, so that's why this body is like this." MuraMasa then returned to the real world. "So now I'm stuck with this half-and-half body. SciLab shut down the project to make sure nothing like this ever happened again." Netto felt pity for MuraMasa. "Are there any good side effects?" MuraMasa suddenly looked very cheerful. "Actually, yeah. I can now cross from the real world to the cyberworld and back through any computer whenever I want, and I can talk to my navi directly." At that moment in the computer, a huge shadow loomed over Terra and Rock. The figure turned out to be...Duo. Rock gasped. Terra, however, look very laid-back. "It's just a copy. I can tell because the data is made from a computer virus." CopyDuo then spoke. "5 seconds to deletion." Terra said "I'll handle big boy here." Rock said "Will you be okay?" Terra winked and said "Trust me." She then ran at CopyDuo.

Terra pulled down her goggles and thrust her hand out towards nothing. Out of nowhere, a rock appeared. Terra's hand glew yellow, as the rock had yellow glow around it as well. She lifted her hand, and the rock followed the motion of her hand. Rock was awe stricken. "So, she can control any type of rock?" Terra than hurled the rock at CopyDuo, knocking the large virus back. She then created at least 30 rocks, and controlling them all at once, hurled them at CopyDuo, dealing immense damage to it, and even destroying one of it's arms. Then, both of her hands glowed yellow. She pressed them against the ground, and the made a pulling motion upwards. 70 gigantic boulders flew out of the ground. "This is the part where you get hurt." She said, and hurled them all at CopyDuo, deleting the virus. Terra pulled her goggles up. "That was fun." Rock said "Terra, you're amazing!" Terra blushed a little. "Thanks." MuraMasa logged her out. "Netto, we're gonna go on ahead to the battle machine. Come on when you're ready." MuraMasa headed toward the elevator. "Wait!" Netto shouted after him. MuraMasa looked over his shoulder. "Yeah?" He asked. Netto extended a hand. "Want to be friends?" MuraMasa smiled. He shook Netto's hand. "Friends." Than he headed towards the elevator again. Once he was inside, he beamed. "When they let me tell you, Netto, you'll find out that we're more than friends." Terra was happy too. "It's such a shame that you can't tell him." MuraMasa said "Yeah, but If I ever find out a way to get my human form back, We'll tell him for sure."

Netto stepped out of the elevator. "Late, as usual." Rock commented. "Oh shut up." Netto said. MuraMasa was already at the console. He had his cloak off, it layed on the floor next to him. He smiled. "Let's do this." Netto returned with a grin of his own. In his mind, he thought "Why does he look so similar to me?" Both logged their navis into the battle machine. A holographic screen popped up, showing Terra and Rock in the battlefield. The crowd oohed and ahhed, and one little kid said "Look mommy it's a guy in spandex!" Rock's face turned pale. "Note to self. Ask Netto for a new look." He murmured. The announcer, Kero spoke loudly into the mic "This is the final battle of the tournament! The young skilled netbattler Netto-kun versus the mysterious MuraMasa! Who will win? FIGHT!!!" Terra lept back and started hurling stones at Rockman (No, that was not intentional.) Rock dodged them all barely, and one scraped his shoulder. "Netto-Kun!" Rock said. Netto-kun pulled out a few chips and said ''I'm on it! StepCross BattleChip in!" Rock executed the attack successfully, slashing Terra. She felt the pain, but continued hurling rocks. Rock tried to do a charge shot, but Terra created a RockCube just in time. The battle waged on for at least half an hour before MuraMasa pulled out a Navi Chip and said "Serenade! Battle Chip, in!" Netto and Rock said in perfect unison "What?!?'' Serenade appeared and executed her Holy Shock attack, and then vanished. Netto said "We better end this fast." Rock, still weary from Serenade's attack, said "Alright, let's go." Netto initiated Full Synchro, and then downloaded a Sword, WideSword, and LongSword. "Program Advance! LifeSword!" Shouted Netto as the attack was executed. Rock slashed through the RockCube, hitting Terra. Combined with the Full Synchro, LifeSword was just enough to defeat Terra. The battle was over. Terra, although very bruised and injured, got up and laughed. "That was fun!" She said. Rock thought "There are two ways she can't feel the pain. One, she's has high endurance, or Two, she's really stupid." MuraMasa high-fived Netto. "Congrats, man." He said. Suddenly, Rock felt himself change. He looked at himself. His appearance had shifted into that of himself and Terra. "TerraSoul..." He said. Netto plugged him out. MuraMasa picked up his cloak and grabbed one end. He held out his arm. "I'll be seeing you around." He said. Than he swished his cloak across his body and vanished.

NOTES: The starDroids Incident is just something that I think will probably happen in a future episode.
Terra is the very same Terra from Teen Titans, but in a better, navi form.

Chapter 2:How to deal with waiting for three weeks to pass.

Netto went home after his congratulations from the tournament. He laid on his bed, thinking. Rock noticed this. "Is something wrong, Netto-kun? I'm not used to you being in such deep thought." Netto sighed. "It's just that kid, MuraMasa. I'm wondering why he feels so...familiar." Suddenly, there was a small ping noise from Rockman's PET. "We've got mail. It's from Enzan." Netto suddenly bolted up and grabbed the PET. He read the mail. It said: We have a code red emergency. All powerful navis come to SciLab Square. Netto, Rockman, please don't be late like last time. That was humiliating for you and for my reputation. Enzan. P.S.-WHY THE HELL ARE YOU STILL READING THIS? GET GOING!!! "Edgy." Netto commented. "Plug-in! Rockman! Transmission!" Rock sighed. "He has to do that every time." Rock ran to SciLab Square as fast as he could. "I thought the blue blunder would never make it." Blues quipped. "Shut up, girly hair." Rock said. Blues suddenly seemed very angry. "Do NOT make fun of my hair, little boy blue. It is based off of some guy from at least 100 years ago named Sephiroth.*" Than he seemed calm again. "Anyways, for some reason, The Dream Virus is back.'' Rock gasped. "you mean World 3 is at it again?" Blues sighed. "No, I just said the virus was back, not World 3." Rock was relieved. "Well than it can't be all that bad. we've defeated it before." Blues responded "One of the navis keeps chucking rocks at it's Dream Aura. It's forced to keep a defensive posistion, but seeing her chucking the same boulder at the virus over and over got boring. Enzan is running out of patience." Blues pointed at a female navi, who was flinging considerably large rocks at the virus, which did absolutely nothing. A familiar voice said "Terra, if it didn't work the first time, WHY DO YOU THINK IT WOULD WORK THE OTHER 100TH TIMES?!?" Netto said "Good lord, they're here too?" Rock ran up to Terra. "Um, Terra? I don't think rocks will work." Terra said "Oh, hi Rocky!" Rock's face turned red. "...Don't call me that ever again, Terra." "Okkie-Dokkie!" She responded. "As absent minded as they come." Rock thought. Around now, The Dream Virus, and Enzan, both lost their patience. "Can we please just delete this thing?" Enzan asked. At that moment, Dream Virus used Meteor, and wiped out all of the navis fighting against it(Actually, it was more like trying to destroy a tank with a stick.)Except for Terra, Rockman, and Blues. MuraMasa said "Terra, that is why when something doesn't work the first time, we don't do it again." He sounded annoyed. Terra said "Okay, okay. I'm sorry." Blues stated that they would have two people break the Virus's aura, while one went in and destroyed the Dream Virus itself. Blues instantly broke them up into teams, meaning Rock and Terra would break the aura while Blues went in. Netto said angrily "How come you get to kill the virus?" Enzan responded very calm casually "I'm not going to answer that, as their is no point in arguing over something so juvenile." Netto grabbed a battle chip and with a childish "Hmph!" he stuck it in. Did I act like that when I was their age? Thought MuraMasa. Rock and Terra blasted the Virus with several battle chips. Terra downloaded a Mega Vulcan and kept shattering the aura over and over, which was good for our heroes because Blues could get inside the barrier, but it also made the Dream Virus violently pissed. Terra's fist glowed yellow. "No, Terra." Said Rock, Enzan, Blues, Netto, and MuraMasa at the same time. "Aww..." She said before she used BetaSword. Rock unloaded a M-Cannon into the Virus's face, and shouted "Blues! Finish it off!" "Don't tell me what to do!" Shouted Blues, which was a little unnessecary because that's what he planned to do anyways by slicing the thing into several tiny pieces with a Delta Ray Edge.

Dr.Hikari! The machines status is suddenly dropping!

MuraMasa's eyes opened and he supressed the urge to scream out. He looked around. He was still in his stasis cell,with his bed and everything, the same one he always was forced in at the end of each day. He sighed. "That same dream of my past...again." He looked into Terra's PET. She was asleep, recharging. MuraMasa tossed his cloak onto the floor and layed down on his bed again. He lifted his hand and examined it. Modeled after Forte. most people would find his body amazing, but to him, it was hideous. He heard someone knock on the cell door. MuraMasa looked through the transparent glass and saw Dr.Hikari. "The doors open." MuraMasa said. Dr.Hikari walked in. "I have some good news." MuraMasa bolted upright, interested. "We've been studying the effects since the experiment. We've found a way to turn you back into your human form." MuraMasa kept a straight face, But his eyes told that he was very excited. "However..." MuraMasa got disappointed. There was always a however. "...It's not fully powered, you will have to wait three weks." MuraMasa flopped back down on his bed. "I've been waiting for a long time, so 3 weeks is nothing." But then he asked "Just one question." Yuiichiro bent down next to him. "Yes?" MuraMasa sighed. "Do we really need this cell to be transparent? I don't feel comfortable knowing anyone can watch or hear me whatever I'm doing." "We need to monitor you further in order to make sure everything goes okay. We don't want you to become completely navi, do we?" MuraMasa rolled over so Yuiichiro couldn't see his face. "Yeah."

"It's saturday! Finally!" Netto said happily. "And you even got your homework done." Rock said admiringly. "I just felt like not putting up with it for the rest of my weekend, so don't get used to it." Netto replied. Rock sighed. "I should've known." Netto ran downstairs into the hallway. Normally he would turn around and go into the kitchen considering the fact that he was almost very hungry every single day, but today, when he looked down the hallway, he saw to doors he had never seen before. "Rockman, have you ever seen those doors before?" "Not that I know of." Rock replied. Netto walked up to the doors. One of the doors was blank, and had a lock on it. The other one had a lock on it as well,
but Netto could see letters carved into the door. They were hard to see due to all of the dust collected on the door. "What do you see, Netto-kun?" Rock asked. His voice showed that he was very curious. "It's a word, but I can't read it." Netto wiped the dust off of the words and read them aloud in shock. "Saito..."

Author Notes:Sephiroth was a villian in Final Fantasy VII whose hair would look very similar to Blues's if he wore a helmet.

Chapter 3:How to join a battle(And hurt your head.).

Netto stared at the words he just read aloud. "This...must have been your room, Rockman." Rockman was surprised as well. They both stared at the other door. Rock said "that must be a storage room, considering there's no name on it." Netto walked into the kitchen. "Morning Mom!" He said. She looked up. "Oh good morning Netto." After breakfast, Netto and Rock went to the park. "What should we do today?" Rock asked. "How about go to MarineHarbor?*" Rock said "Well I don't know why we should go there, but sure." After they got off of the metroline, Netto saw some kid around his age. At first he didn't recognize him, but then Rock said "Isn't that Shuryou?" They ran up. Shuryou saw them coming. "Netto! Rock! I haven't seen you two in awhile!" Shuryou said happily. "Good to see you, too!" Netto said. Shuryou whipped out his PET. "You want to NetBattle? I just got a new navi who I need to test out." Netto took out his PET. "Ready when you are!"

Rockman logged into the grided battlefield. he looked for the other navi, but couldn't see him. "Where's Shuryou's navi?" Shuryou fumbled with his PET for a moment. "Hold on. this is his first NetBattle...Okay, he'll be right down." A sudden dark aura filled the area. a figure appeared from the aura who Rockman knew all too well. Netto looked in disbelief. "No way..." Shuryou grinned. "I expected that to be your reaction." Rock said the navi's name aloud:"Forte!" It was true. Shuryou's new navi was Forte. "Rockman? I wasn't expecting to see you so soon." Forte said. Than the battle started. Forte started off with his signature twin bustergun attack, while Rockman used several chargeshots. They kept battling, using several different techniques.(Author's Note:I'm feeling to lazy to describe the battle. I'll give them another one to make up for it.) After the battle(Which was a tie), Netto asked "How the hell did you wind up with Forte?" Shuryou responded "you sure you want to hear? It's a long story." Netto nodded. Shuryou said "Well..."

SIDE-CHAPTER:Shuryou and Forte
Shuryou walked down Beach Street. "Another win, Freezeman." Freezeman said "Yes. We won against that Torakichi kid." Than Freezeman looked towards a server. "Shuryou-san, will you plug me into that server?" Shuryou said "Oookaaaay...I don't know why, but sure." After Freezeman was plugged in, he said "I've been meaning to tell you this for awhile. your parents are alive." Shuryou said "Are you okay, Freezeman? you and I both know my parents died." freezeman shook his head. "They survived, but barely. They both crawled away from the crash site of the plane, so they were thought to be dead.* They both had PETs with them. Your father's navi was Bowlman, who became Rank #2 in the Undernet, and your mother's navi...was me. She decided that she wanted you to have at least one friend, So she gave me to you via mail." Shuryou asked "So what's your point?'' Freezeman looked regretful as he said "I have found the whereabouts of your mother, and I am leaving to find her... my real netop." With that, Freezeman opened a gate to the CyberWorld. "Freezeman, wait!" Shuryou pleaded, but Freezeman walked towards the gate. "Good-bye, Shuryou-san." He said, before departing.

Shuryou hooked up the system. "I have to find another navi!" He said as he sat in the chair. "Even if that means exploring the net myself." he whispered. "Psycho Transmission!*" Within moments, Shuryou himself was in the UnderNet. He wandered around, searching for a navi. He asked random Ura Internet denizens for their help, but they all laughed or struck him. He walked out of the UnderSquare, on the verge of tears, when he saw Forte. Forte felt the boys presence, and turned around to see. "A human? What do you want?" Shuryou looked up to Forte. "Please, help me;" He pleaded. "I need a new navi. Will you be my navi?" Forte chuckled, amused. "Me? Team up with a human? Don't make me laugh." With that, Forte walked away. However, he thought Why do I feel like I need that boy? Am I remembering Cossack? Meanwhile, Shuryou walked away, hurt. However, before he could a virus appeared in front of him. It was a Scuttlest, or a miniature Dream Virus. He stared at the creature. It seemed friendly. It was at that moment it decided it would try to kill him by firing a beam at him. It missed Shuryou barely. Shuryou ran, panicking, and the Scuttlest followed, shooting beams at him. Forte heard the commotion, and looked to see what was happening. He tried to ignore what was happening, But something stopped him from doing so. Did I develope a conscience when fighting Rockman? He turned around and headed towards the Scuttlest. Good God, I'm going soft. I'm saving a HUMAN, the very thing I despise most. Forte shook his head in disgust, and***

The attack completely annihilated the Scuttlest. Shuryou looked up. "Why did you...?'' Forte responded "You seem to be a unique human. I want to watch you and study you. If you let me, I will become you navi." Shuryou seemed overjoyed. Seeing Shuryou excited made Forte happy, and instantly he felt guilty. What have I become? Forte felt that he may regret this decision, but he would be proved wrong.

Author Notes:If you played the games, you find out that Shuryou's parents died in a plane crash.
Psycho Transmission is from the manga, which is a little process allowing the user to go into the Cyberworld. In EXE3 it is known as Pulse Transmission.

"Wow. Seems like you two make a good combination in battle." Netto said after the long story. "Yes, but it does seem a little cliche', depsite the fact it's true." Forte said. Shuryou responded "I didn't know you knew what cliche' meant, or the fact that you have a sense of humor." Forte pointed to Netto. "You think I'm as stupid as him?'' "Hey! That wasn't funny!" said Netto. "Yes it was." Replied Forte. "Alright, no fighting." Said Rockman. "Yeah. besides, I have to leave now. I'm doing some stuff for SciLab." Shuryou said. "What the hell?" he said. He looked up at the table. there was a sign. It said Join the battle! Net Agents unofficial street battle! Anyone is allowed to participate as long as they have a navi! Held in KotoSquare. Tell a friend about this notice and recieve a free slurpee! "Netto! Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Netto's eyes lit up. "Yeah! Tell Dekao, Meiru, Tohru, and Yaito about this ad and get a free slurpee!" Rockman slapped his head. "NO! We should join the battle, Netto-kun!" "Oh. That works too." Netto plugged Rockman into a conviently placed computer and sent him to KotoSquare.

Forte grabbed him and pulled him into a corner where no one could see them. "Tell no one about what I am about to show you. Not even your operator." He said. Forte pulled of his cloak and hood. Rock gasped. He looked exactly like the old Forte, but he had a cat tail, whiskers, cat ears, and cat paws. Megaman had to cover his mouth to stop from laughing. Forte noticed this and threatened "If you laugh, I will kill you." Rockman took a few seconds to sit down and get the laughing out of his system. Forte punched him. Rock panted ''Sorry. It's just you look so funny." Forte rolled his eyes. "Yeah, sure. I'm a cute kitten. Now tell me how long the damn virus lasts."
"Just a few days. you'll be okay. But for now..." He called up to Netto. Fortunately for Forte, Netto didn't see him. "Yeah, Rock?" "Can you give me that one chip that you made when I had the Neko Virus?" "Okay...I don't see why, but here it is." Netto downloaded the chip and shut off communications. A ball of cyber yarn appeared in Rockman's hands. Forte's eyes widened. "You wouldn't." Rock grinned and tossed the ball at Forte. Forte insinctively grabbed for it and started playing with it like a cat. "Curse...you...Rockman!!!" He said. The ball disappeared. Rock laughed. "Sorry, I just had to do that." Another punch to the face from Forte. At that moment Blues appeared. "Um...what are you two doing?" He asked. Rock and Forte looked up. "...YOU SHALL NEVER TELL ANYONE ABOUT MY CONDITION!" Forte yelled with rage and lunged at Blues. Blues easily blocked him off with his sword. "Calm down. All I need is some of your data." Forte squinted. "And why would you need it?" "Trying to cure a virus." Forte cut of a little bit of his flesh from his neck off. "It'll heal." He said to Rockman, who seemed a little worried. The flesh instantly transformed into data. He handed it to Blues. "I swear, if you're lying..." Blues responded "I already was. It's to try to revert something back to it's original form." With that, he logged out. Forte was seething with anger. Rockman tossed his cloak and hood back to him. 'We're drawing attention." Rock said. as if on cue, a voice said "Hey, I heard arguing over there. Let's go check it out!" Forte hastily put his hood on, and he was trying to put his cloak on so fast he got tangled in it and tripped. "I'm very pissed right now." He said, and logged out. Rockman heard footsteps rapidly approaching. He sighed and and let loose a charge shot on the surrounding walls, causing the tops to crumble and create a wall. He logged out to the sound of a navi swearing on the other side of the wall.

That wasn't funny!" said Netto. "Yes it was." Replied Forte. "Alright, no fighting." Said Rockman. "Yeah. besides, I have to leave now. I'm doing some stuff for SciLab." Shuryou said. Chapter 4:How To win a Battle Royale.

1 week later...
"We still can't find the data!!!" A scientist shouted. Dr.Hikari hung his head. "Guess we'll have to tell MuraMasa." MuraMasa walked into the room. "Looking for this?" He said, holding out a CD. "What's that?" The scientists asked. "A disk with some data from Forte. What does it look like?" The scientsts got very excited. "How did you know we needed that?'' "I heard you talking." they uploaded it and started to transfer the data to the machine they were working on. Dr.Hikari asked "How did you get that?" "It's amazing what you can order off of Ebay 2000 these days.'' Dr.Hikari gave him a glance, trying to disect his cool demeanor. However, he let it pass. "This is incredible!" A scientist said. "What?" The scientists turned around to MuraMasa, very excited. "The data sample you brought us back is so powerful, We can transform you back into a human even sooner!" "Really? How soon?" "5 days." MuraMasa said a silent "yes" and headed out the door. "It's good to see him happy." Dr.Hikari said, smiling. "Why? Because you feel guilty over the experiment?" "Yeah. Now he's getting a second chance to be a human."

"Netto wake up!" Rock sighed. This was the 7th time in a row. Time to do something drastic. "NETTO!! WAKE THE HELL UP!!!" Rock yelled. Netto woke up. "What? You don't have to scream." "Today's the Street Battle." Netto jumped out of bed and got dressed right away. "Why didn't you wake me up sooner?" "I tried but you wouldn't!" Netto plugged Rockman into the PC and sent him to KotoSquare. "Wow. Sharkman, Gutsman, Iceman, Roll, Glyde, Woodman, Sharkman, Skullman, and even Blues are here!" Rock said. "But where's Forte?" Forte than ran into the area. "Good to see that you cured the virus." Rock told Forte. Forte slapped him lightly. "I'd prefer if we didn't talk about it in public." The announcer than shouted "Street Battle, Commence!" Forte grabbed Rockman and pulled him under his aura. "Let's team up until we're the only ones left, okay?" Forte said to Rock. "Deal." Forte than released the aura. Sharkman lunged at them, but Forte quickly blasted him away. Rock went to battle with Gutsman. Rockman was pounding Gutsman hard, but Gutsman finally punched him down. "Sorry, Rockman, but this win belongs to me and Dekao!" He brought the hammer down, but at the last second..."Barrier! Battle Chip in! Rock looked up. "Thanks Netto.'' "No problem. GoldFist! Battle Chip in!" Rock's arm warped into a giant golden fist, and he punched Gutsman hard. "I think you've got it turned around, Gutsman!" Rockman said, and used a ChargeShot. Gutsman was out, and he was transported to an area marked "The Losers." Roll rushed at Rockman, saying "Sorry Rock, but I won't go easy on you!" Rockman thought Great. How can I fight Roll? Then Forte blasted her from the side, and Shuryou loaded a M-Cannon into Forte. "Why don't you try fighting someone who's not so weak?" He taunted Roll. Roll pouted. "Hey! Rock's not weak! and neither am I!" She then switched targets to Forte instead. Both Netto and Rock knew that Forte wasn't insulting him, but saving him the trouble of fighting his girlfriend. ''We'll thank him later." Rock whispered to Netto. "Sure." Netto replied. Roll was transported to The Losers section. "Hi Roll." Gutsman said nervously. "Hi Gutsman." "Uh...Next time you wanna team up? I'll protect you against any other fighters. Roll giggled. "You're so sweet, Gutsman. " Gutsman fainted with pleasure. Meanwhile, Forte and Rockman we're taking care of Blues and Iceman(Even though Iceman and Blues weren't teamed up.) They lost, and we're transported to The Losers section also. That just left Sharkman,Glyde, Woodman, and Skullman. "Rockman! Let's go into DoubleSoul!" Netto shouted. "Right! let's test out the new one! TerraSoul!" Rockman then created rocks(No puns intended) and hurled them at Skullman. His pieces were transported to The Losers. Woodman and Sharkman tried teaming up, and caught Forte off guard. They landed a few glancing blows, but before they landed the final attack, A wall of stone raised up in front of Forte. The two navis crashed into it. "Now we're even." Rock said. Forte jumped the wall and blasted Sharkman and Woodman with DarkCannon, sending them to The Losers. Glyde tried vainly to attack Rockman, but he was rewarded with a stone to the head. Rock then crushed him with a tower of stone. Now there were two navis left. Forte said "Now the real battle begins." Shuryou said pulled out a chip. "Just a little insurance that I win. HolyDream! BattleChip, in!" Forte's gun shot a holy element blast, which did a number on Rock. "Oh yeah? Two can play at that!" Netto said. he smirked as he pulled out a chip. "SandStage! BattleChip, in!" The whole area turned to sand. "What's Netto doing?" wondered Roll out loud. "Sand is small bits of fine-grains of rock." Glyde explained. "Since Rockman's new soul seems to be able to control stone, Netto must have figured that out and used the SandStage so Rockman could control the whole battlefield." Roll jumped up and down. "That is so COOL!" She said. "It's not that impressive, de gutsu." Gutsman muttered. Forte realized what was happening and jumped just as a giant spike made from sand flew out of the ground right where he was standing. Rock grinned. "I guess we'll have to do this the fun way." He spread his arms and fell backwards into the sand, where he sunk into it, leaving a hole shaped like him. Forte looked down in amazement. The hole started to fill itself. Forte landed. He could be anywhere... Suddenly, Rockman's hand shot up and yanked Forte down into the sand all the way up to his neck. The sand surrounding his neck hardened so he couldn't escape. Rockman then appeared from underneath the sand, rising up on a sand pillar. "Netto and I thought of that trick last night. What do you think?' He said, grinning. "I think it's cheap." Forte said. "Next time we battle, no more DoubleSouls." Rock stepped down from the pillar. "Okay. But for now..." He said, and raised his hand A big wave of sand hovered above his head. He dropped it all down on Forte. For a moment, nobody saw him, but then he was transported to The Losers. "Damn that was unfair." He said, taking of his cloak and shaking it to remove excess sand. "But it was cool!" Roll said. "GO ROCK!" Rockman reverted back to normal, as did the battlezone. "Our winner is Rockman!" The announcer shouted. Everyone, including The Losers, cheered.
The announcer gave Rockman his prize, a new battlechip. It was a Sanctuary chip. "you may now all log out!" Everyone left. "Good thing that sand disappeared." The announcer said. "I don't wanna have to clean stuff like that up.''

Chapter 5:Lord of Flames

4 days after the street battle...

Netto paced the room, his hands crossed. "Something on your mind, Netto-kun?" Rockman asked him. "I'm just thinking about DoubleSoul." He said. Then his eyes lit up. "I've got it!" "What?" Rock asked, noticing the excitement in Netto's voice. "I bet you can get a DoubleSoul from any navi you fight as long as you and they put their soul into the fight!" Rock was impressed. "You thought that all up by yourself?" "Well, when it comes to netbattling, it's pretty easy!" Rock sighed. "I forgot that's your only A+ so far." Netto than flopped down on the bed. "It's a shame Dad had to leave so early." Rock said "Well, something really important concerning the whole family came up. Can you blame him?" "I guess not." Netto sniffed the air. "Something's burning..." He looked out the window to see the house next door in flames. "Oh my god! That's Meiru's house!!!" Netto ran out. Meiru was standing outside, scared, with her parents. "Are you okay?" Netto asked when he came up. "Yeah, we're okay, but we don't know what's going on! I mean, flames just started spewing out of the TV..." Netto ran into the house. "WAIT!" Meiru and her parents screamed, but Netto was already inside. "Rock, plug into the TV!'' Netto plugged Rock in. Rock searched the computer. Nothing seemed wrong. "It doesn't seem bad..." Then a jet of flames flew at him. He jumped and looked over to see the attacker. He was a grey navi with holes all over him, each holes shooting out flames. He hunched over. His own head was a fireball. In his hands he held pure fire. "Someone trying to destroy my fun?" Rock became angry. "How could you call burning down a house and nearly killing the family fun?!?'' The navi laughed. "Humans are such perishable creature. Watching them burst into flames I better than anything." Rock pointed his buster at him. "You sick creature! I will delete you!" The navi merely laughed. "You think you can delete Scorchman, Lord of Flames? I am an independent navi, while you require a sissy human." Now it was Netto's turn to become angry. "That's it, we're putting you down for good! Style Change! Aqua Custom!" Rock went through the style change, emerging with water element. Scorchman, however, seemed amused. ''Try it." He said, and launched a huge blast of fire. It completely engulfed Rockman. Scorchman laughed. But he was shocked to see Rockman still standing there. He had an Aqua Aura. "Tsunami! BattleChip, in!" Netto said, and Rock complied, unleashing huge torrent of water. While this did considerable damage to Scorchman, he did not seem worried. He tossed a few flames at Rockman. But suddenly a boulder smashed into him. "I can't believe you'd try to set fire to a little girl just for fun." Terra said. Rock had never seen her like this. "Rockman! Let's kill this monster!" She said. Scorchman got up just in time to see a boulder with an aquatic aura all around it come falling on him. SPLAT!!! Rock reverted back to normal. "Why are you here, Terra?" She smiled. "MuraMasa gave me a break so I'd thought I check around, but when I heard about this, I got mad so I thought I'd squish that man." Then she said to Netto "Come by SciLab tomorrow. Your dad wants to show you something." Terra logged out. "Dad wants to show us something?" Rockman said. "It's probably a new navi upgrade or something." Netto guessed. He was about to be proved wrong big-time.

Chapter 6:Human Again

The pod opened. It was pretty small, wire on the sides, with steel surroundings, and no transparency, like the old one. "So I go in this thing, wires connect to me and monitor my status, and some magical scientific thing that no one can explain will turn me human?'' MuraMasa asked when he looked at the machine. "Reversion in a nutshell." Yuiichiro said. "works for me." MuraMasa said. "When's Netto gonna be here?" He asked. "2 minutes." "He's probably gonna be confused when he gets here." MuraMasa grabbed his cloak and threw it on the ground. He looked down at it. "If this does go well...if I truly become human...That will serve to remind of being a half-navi." He said. The door opened and Netto walked in. "I'm here." He said. "Why is MuraMasa here, also?" MuraMasa looked at Netto with a look he had never seen him give him before. "The answers to all of your questions will be clear, very soon." He said. "What are you talking about?" "You'll see." He pointed to the pod. "That machine will make me human." Netto brightened. "So, you'll be human again? That's cool, MuraMasa." MuraMasa laughed. "That's not even my real name." He said as he stepped into the pod. The door shut and Yuiichiro flipped some switches and pressed some buttons. The machine came to life, and started to hum. It vibrated softly. "About how long will this take?" Netto asked. "About 1 hour." Netto then walked up to his dad. "Tell me why you wanted me to come." Yuiichiro's facial expression was that of a criminal who is giving a confession. "You are about to meet a member of the Hikari family who you never even knew existed." Netto didn't quite catch on. "What are you talking about." "You are about to meet you long lost brother." Netto gasped. "You mean Rock and I-" "-Have an older brother?" Rock finished for Netto. "Yes. We couldn't tell you because of what happened 9 years ago..." Netto stood up. "Tell me everything, Dad." Yuiichiro nodded, then faced his son. "Alright. He was about 6 years old around the time you two were born..."

Side-Story:MuraMasa's Origins.

Yuiichiro grabbed his briefcase and was about to walk out of the house when he heard a voice shout to him "Dad, wait up!" A young boy, about 6, was running towards him. He was wearing black pants, tennis shoes, and a long sleeeve shirt that was white around the center and had blues sleeves. The boy had brown hair and brown eyes, as all Hikari's did. "I'm coming with you again." He said. Yuiichiro bent down. "Fuyuki, you can't come. Today's a very important day for me." Fuyuki said "I know, but I want to see the transmission pods and that new navi you're working on be completed." It never ceased to impress Yuiichiro how intelligent his oldest son was, being only six and speaking like a teenager. He had shown remarkable signs of intelligence. "Okay, you can stay until they're finished." Fuyuki smiled. "I hope Terra will be friends with the new navi!" He said. "You sure like that navi of yours, don't you?" Fuyuki took out his PET. "Yeah. She's awesome!" Terra blushed. "I'm not that special she said." Yuiichiro stood back up. "We're going to leave now, Haruka.'' He said. "Bye Mom! Take care of Netto and Saito while we're gone!" Fuyuiki said happily. At SciLabs, Yuiichiro was fumbling with his navi project. "It just won't work." Yuiichiro said disappointedly. Fuyuki looked at the PET. Half of the navi was missing, and there was no face or hair or anything on it. "That stinks. I was hoping that this new navi would be finished." Fuyuki said. A scientist burst into the room. "Sir! We have a problem with the transmission pods!" Yuiichiro followed him into the experiment room. "Want to come, Fuyuki?" He asked. "YES!" Fuyuki jumped up and followed his father. The transmission pods were green, transparent cylinders with two blue covers at the ends. Wires jutted out from the top, and there was a crystal on the top as well. In one pod was a PET. In the PET was a clone of Forte. The other pod was designed to have a human in it. "The pod is rejecting the dummy we designed for it." A scientist explained. "The only way we can test it it to use one of ourselves." There was nervous murmer with the people in the room. "I'll go." Said Fuyuki. Yuiichiro said "What? But this could malfunction...Something could possibly happen to you!" Fuyuki grinned. "I know. But if this works, humans and navis will be able to have better relationships, and it will help you on your work with that navi you're trying to make." "...Okay. I guess if you really want to." Yuiichiro hugged him, and then Fuyuki walked into the pod. A scientist started up the sequence. the machines whirred and came to life, starting the process. Fuyuki could see the cybernetic suit covering him. The pod was designed to create a jumpsuit just like the navi in the other pod-In this case, Forte's clone- which would allow the human to enter the cyberworld. "It's working...our experiment is becoming a sucess!" Yuiichiro said happily. A scientist checked the computer. Suddenly, a scren popped up that said "CRITICAL ERROR." Fuyuki noticed something was wrong, also, because the suit seemed tighter. "Dr.Hikari! The machine's status is dropping!" Yuiichiro ran up. "What? Let me see...Oh, God." He said. Fuyuki looked in horror as the part of the suit that was completed-the torso, arms, legs, and everything below the head-Started to merge with his skin. He saw everything tightening, and knew what was happening:He was becoming a navi. "Dad!" He screamed. "Get him out of there!" Yuiichiro screamed. "Oh my God!" One of the scientists shouted. The door opened and Fuyuki fell out, panicked. He looked at his body. "Oh Lord...What have we done?" A scientist said. Everyone in the room, including Fuyuki himself, realized what had happened: They had gotten Fuyuki out safely, but his body, except for his head, had changed from human to navi, his hair now blond and his eyes blood red. He became a half-human half-navi creature. He got up. Yuiichiro went up and hugged his son tightly, both of them realized what a major change this was. All other scientists left the room to give them a moment of privacy. "Dad..." Fuyuki said. "I'm so sorry, Fuyuki." He said. "We can't let you back out in public anymore." "I know. But it's not your fault." "Your life as Hikari Fuyuki must never be known to anyone. We have to change your name." "Yeah. It's horrible." Yuiichiro backed away from him. "I'll try to get the scientist to let you outside on some occasions...But I can't guarentee anything." Fuyuki sat down. "All right. Just let me be alone for awhile..."

1 week later...

Fuyuki, or now known as "MuraMasa," Laid on his bed in his holding cell. My life is going to be completely different until we find a way to cure this. But for now, I'll just have to live as MuraMasa... Yuiichiro burst in the cell. "Fuyu...I mean, MuraMasa! something terrible just happened!" Yuiichiro looked as though he would cry any second. MuraMasa bolted up. "What?!?" "Saito's...Saito died...his heart condition took a turn for the worst..." MuraMasa was shocked. He ran up to Yuiichiro and hugged him. "I never even got a chance to know him..." MuraMasa said very sadly. Yuiichiro whispered "There is a way." "What do you mean?" Yuiichiro let go of MuraMasa. "I obtained some of Saito's epidermis...his skin...We could use it on the navi I've been working on." The two tried it out and it worked. A blue navi with Saito's face and hair was created. "This is Saito...reborn..." Yuiichiro said. "Rockman..." Yuiichiro looked at his son. "Did you say something?'' MuraMasa grabbed the PET. ''Let's call him Rockman. You can give him to Netto when he's old enough." Yuiichiro nodded. ''I'll do that.'' MuraMasa left the room. Will I ever meet Rockman myself? He wondered. "Maybe...When I'm cured..."

"So you're saying...he's my brother?" Netto asked. "Yes. He's been in that half navi condition for 9 years now, waiting for this." Rock said "It should be done in 10 minutes." Yuiichiro looked at the pod. "I remember when he came back from the tournament we let him enter. He was so happy he got to see you two." "Really?" Netto was surprised. MuraMasa sure did a good job of hiding it at the tournament. "He came back here so excited. He came here saying 'Dad! I saw Netto at the tournament! He looks so mature. And Rockman just as well!' " Netto blushed. He didn't hear people compliment him like that before. "5 minutes more." Rock announced. "The suspense is killing me. I'm going for a 2 minute walk." Netto said, getting up. He walked out of the room. "I can't believe he's our brother." Rock said. "Yeah. That would explain why he looks so much like us." Netto then sighed. "Still, this whole thing seems a little cliche'. Like that whole "Luke-I-am-your-father thing in that 1000 year old movie Star Wars." Rock looked surprised. "You actually paid attention in history?" Netto knew where this was going, so he decided to turn things around. "Once, Rock. Only because I accidentally drank coffee that day and was feeling unusual. Never again." Rockman knew his plan had failed, so he decided to change the subject. "Still, he's our brother. Not our father. and It's not like he's going to walk out of that pod and say 'Netto, I am your brother.' Oh, and by the way, we wasted too much time out here. 1 minute until the pod opens." "Oh crap on a stick!" Netto shouted and ran. He entered the room,panting. "How...much...longer?" Yuiichiro checked his watch. "Now." And, as if on cue, the machines stopped, their was a hissing noise. The door slid open. MuraMasa, returned to his human form, stood there. He was wearing the same clothes he wore the day he became half-navi. Miraculously, they seemed to have adjusted to the changes in his body over the last 9 years, so they fit perfectly. His hair was no longer yellow, but the same brown as Netto's. His eyes, however, we're still a blood red. He stepped out of the pod and looked down at himself. He looked up. "It worked." He said, his voice wavering. Netto ran up to him and hugged him. MuraMasa returned the hug. Both we're crying. Rock was crying as well, and if he could be there, he would be joining the group hug as well. Even Yuiichiro was shedding a few tears.(I guess I like to make the fluff I add in my story as mushy as possible.) Netto said "Welcome back to the family, MuraMasa." "No...I'm not MuraMasa anymore...I'm Hikari Fuyuki again."

Chapter 7:Getting used to being human after 9 years of difference.

Yuiichiro removed the last wire. "Good news. Not only are you fully human, but you still have all the strength of a navi." He pointed to a desk. "Let's prove it by having you lift up that desk." Fuyuki walked over to it. He lifted up the 90 pound computer desk with one hand. "Strange. Since when did they make desks out of foam?" He said, laying it down. "Dad, can we go home now?" Netto asked. "Sure. All the tests are done, and you should probably show Fuyuki around." Yuiichiro looked at Fuyuki. "Quite a lot can change in 9 years." He explained. Netto grabbed Fuyuki. "C'mon. I gotta show you around." he said. Fuyuki picked up the cape he dropped on the ground earlier. He wadded it in Netto's backpack-"Next time, ask."-and followed him out. However, before they could leave, a scientist blocked the exit. "Fuyuki. We're taking Terra back." "What?!?" Said Netto and Fuyuki in perfect unison. "Terra was an experimental navi. You've had her for long enough." The scientist swiped the PET. "Terra!" Fuyuki yelled. It was no use, as the scientist cut her communications off. "I promise I'll get her back." Netto said. "Nah. Don't worry about it." Netto looked at his older brother like he was crazy."If it weren't for these people, I would still be half-navi, so I guess I owe them at least something in return." Netto and Fuyuki left the building. Upon arriving in Akihara, Fuyuki looked around and was surprised. Much had changed. "We can look around later. Let's go show Mom what happened to you." Netto told him. "Yeah. Okay." They we're just outside the Hikari household when someone screamed "Hey Netto!" Both of the brothers turned around. Tohru, Meiru, Yaito, and Dekao we're running towards them. "Go play with your friends. I'll catch up later." Fuyuki said, and entered the house. Netto caught up with his friends. "Who was that kid with you?" Tohru asked. "Oh...um...he was just someone who I know." Netto said. Despite the fact that it was a lame excuse, it worked. "So why are you guys here?" Netto asked. "Well, Yaito got reservations to the Ura Inn. She invited all of us and wanted to know if we could come." Meiru said. "I would be bored by myself, anyways." Yaito said. "I don't know...This is kinda short notice..." Netto said, thinking. "C'mon, please?" Meiru asked. "Well, I guess it's okay." "Then it's settled!" Yaito said. "We'll be leaving for them in a week." Dekao punched Netto lightly on the arm. "You better show up on time." He said. "Lay off on the late jokes." All the friends said bye, and then parted ways. Netto went in the house. "Mom!" Netto called out. Haruka turned around from the kitchen where she was working. "Netto! I just found out! Fuyuki is back!" she said happily. "I know. Where is he going to stay?" Netto asked. "We still have his room, back there." Haruka responded, pointing to the room next to the one marked Saito. So that's his room. Netto and Rock thought. "Right now he's upstairs, checking out your room.'' Netto ran up. Fuyuki was looking at his computer. "Hey bro, you got a nice room." Fuyuki said when Netto came in. "Thanks. By the way, why are you up here?" "I just want to check out the house, see if anything has changed." Netto sat down on his bed. "Nothing has changed, really." Fuyuki started to walk out the door. "Now I need to go get a new navi." He said, leaving. "What do you mean?" Netto shouted after him. "Buy a PET and then search the Net for one." He shouted. Oookayyy...That's odd. Rock thought. Netto layed down on his bed. "Something wrong, Netto-kun?" Netto smiled. "No. I'm just glad that the whole family is back together." He replied. "Still, I bet Fuyuki is the happiest of all." Rock said. "I mean, he was half-navi for 9 years, and he was forced to keep away from his family and only go out briefly. It's amazing he could put up with it."

Red, Green, Yellow, White...Fuyuki couldn't decide on a PET. "I just need to find the right colors." He said. He spotted a black one. "This'll do nicely." He grabbed it and bought it, but as soon as he walked out of the store and no one could see him, He started to change the navis data. He made it so this navi had only one purpose:Find a suitable navi for Fuyuki. It would terminate itself afterwards. He plugged it into a server. After at least a half hour, the navi terminated itself. Fuyuki looked into his PET. "Hey, you look like a great navi." He said. "Why? Do you want me to join forces?" "Yes. Will you be my navi?" The navi thought for a moment. "Okay, I'm now your navi, Starman.EXE."

Terra shifted in her PET uncomfortably. She was going to the archives. The archives was a special place for renewed navis-navis made from human DNA-we're held. She had heard rumors about the place. It was like a mass condominium for navis, but occasionally navis would pe plucked out, tested in experiments, and then put back. The only exception they made was for Rockman, because he had his brother and parents. Terra had no family. She was a young human girl with the ability to control the very rocks and earth around her. It was a blessing and curse:She had no control over it. She was saved by a group of kids around her age-She hardly remembered them-and had joined them, only to betray them and work for a evil man. She was being manipulated from the very start, And as a result, she almost destroyed a city and everyone who lived there. To repent for her betrayal and to save the city,she sealed herself in a stone statue. Apparently, scientists from this current era found her in the ruins of the 100 year old city she sacrificed herself to save. They chipped off a small part of her petrified body, and using it as DNA, made Terra reborn, exactly how she looked as a human. She was teamed up with Fuyuki so he could test her. After all these 9 years, they took her away. I at least hope Fuyuki is happy... She thought.

Fuyuki walked into his room. Same as it was on that fateful day. He quickly rearranged it to look clean. I better put some decorations up. Fuyuki turned on his computer. The desktop background was still the same. "I better find a new desktop, too." He plugged Starman in. "Yeah, Fuyuki?" Starman asked. "I need you to go find me a picture of a well from a very ancient movie called The Ring. Find all possible matches. I want my desktop to look scary. Starman vanished. A few seconds later he returned. "That was fast." Starman smiled. "I'm very fast. I couldn't find a picture of the well, but I found something else really scary. I'll bring it up." He said, then accesed an image file. A picture of Michael Jackson popped up. Fuyuki got so surprised he fell off his chair. "Awesome, Starman!" Then he grinned a sly grin, and his face looked very much like a kitsune. "Maybe if..."

"Netto! Come quick!" Netto sprang up, grabbed his PET, and ran into Fuyuki's room. Fuyuki was sitting on the ground. "Some...something wierd popped up on the computer!" He said. Netto looked. The screen was on screensaver, but to Netto and Rock, it looked blank. "I don't see anything." Rock said. "Put your faces up close to the computer. I think the screen is just too dark, but if you look close enough, you can see. Fuyuki said. Netto held his face right next to the screen, and he held Rock right next to it as well. Fuyuki quickly typed a message into his PET and hit send. In the computer, Starman got the message. "Now!" It said. Starman turned off the screensaver. Netto said "Fuyuki, I don't see anythi-" Suddenly the image popped up. Both Netto and Rock got freaked out, which was proven when they screamed like little girls as they fell on their butts. "WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!?" Netto shouted. Fuyuki was laughing very hard, as well as Starman. "It's a freak from a long time ago. He slept with children." Fuyuki said through his laughter. Rock cowered in the corner of his PET. His two worst fears were ghosts and people who slept with children. After everything calmed down, Netto asked "Why did you do that?" "I had to see your reaction. You two we're more scared than me!" Fuyuki said. "Well that's probably because your face wasn't up next to the computer screen when the picture appeared!!!" Netto said. Then he saw Starman on the computer. "Fuyuki, look on your computer!" Netto cried out in alarm. Fuyuki looked. "Oh, that's my new navi, Starman." Netto pointed. "But HE was a Dark Loid!" Fuyuki shrugged. "Now he's not. He seems nice." Starman smiled. "Plus, he's chou kawaii!" Fuyuki said. The smile vanished from Starman's face and was replaced by blushing. "I wanna hug him!" Fuyuki said. "Um..." said Starman. He never was in a situation like this before. It was obvious all the excitement got to Fuyuki's mind, so Netto did the mature thing:Slapped him. "Domo arigato, Netto." Fuyuki said, rubbing his face where a red hand mark was. "I guess I got to excited." "Are there any other navis around here?" Starman asked. "I don't wanna be lonely." Netto pulled out his PET. ''Rockman is the only other navi here. And what do you mean, lonely? Fuyuki and I aren't enough?" Netto said. Starman laughed. "No, it's not that. I just want to be around others like me." Rock said "Well then I'll be your first navi friend, Starman." "Pleased to meet you, Rockman." Starman said. "Oh, Fuyuki, I'm going to the Ura Inn with my friends in one week. I think they have a spot for one more person, so you can probably come..." "Okay, but first..." Fuyuki reached into Netto's backpack and whipped the cloak he stored in there earlier out so hard that it whipped Netto in the face. "I gotta go hang this up!" He said and ran to his room. ''Crazy idiot." Netto muttered.

Author Notes:The Ura Inn is the place where Tamako is, with the hot springs and all. It was also in EXE3. Terra's origins are her real origins from Teen Titans up to the point where she sealed herself as a statue. I made the rest up from there. Chou kawaii is japanese for super cute. Domo arigato means thank you very much.

Chapter 8:What the heck is going on today?!?

Netto opened the bathroom door to find what looked like a warzone. The place looked like it was bombed, with explosion marks everywhere, everything broken, and charred shower curtains. "Uh, Mom? What happened to the bathroom?" Haruka sighed. "Last night someone broke in and planted a virus in all the computers. I woke up just in time to catch him before he could do something else, but all of the computers went haywire and exploded." She explained. Netto's jaw dropped. "Do we have any other bathrooms in the house?' He asked. "Well, Fuyuki has one connected to his bedroom...'' Netto ran in to Fuyuki's room. Fuyuki was on the computer, letting Starman hang out at the CyberSquare. "FUYUKI!!!" Netto shouted. "What? You don't have to scream." Fuyuki replied. "Can I use your bathroom?" "Why? We have another one, you know..." Netto pointed. "Take a look." Fuyuki did so. He came out a second after he looked at it. "Oh." "What do you need to use my bathroom for?" He asked. "I need to take a shower." Netto replied. "Fine, use it, but don't waste the hot water." Netto ran in and locked the door, leaving Rock on Fuyuki's desk. Starman returned. "I like this place. Can I set up a link to that square?" he asked. ''Go ahead." Fuyuki answered, and flopped down on his bed. Starman created a link, then returned to his PET. "Geez, how tired are you?'' Starman asked. "Not at all." Fuyuki replied. He turned to Rock. "How's Netto been? I mean, his life and all..." "He's actually been a very good kid. Sure, he sucks at school, but he saved the world on occasions, so I don't mind. He's also really good to his friends and family." Rock smiled. "I'm glad that he's our brother." Fuyuki sat up. "Maybe we should force him to study..." He muttered. "Nah." "Hey Fuyuki?" Rock asked. "Yeah?" ''Why don't you go to school with Netto and I?" Fuyuki layed back down, laughing. "I already passed 7th grade when I was 6, and when I was half-navi, I learned everything else at SciLab. According to Dad, I have a college level education." All of the sudden, Netto screamed "Ahh! It's scorching!" And burst out of the bathroom. "@#$%!" Shouted Fuyuki. Rock and Starman covered their eyes. Netto panted. "Something's wrong with the water!" He looked up to see Fuyuki. He was mad, judging by the fact that he was lifting his bed over his head in a throwing position. "Something's wrong with you!" He shouted. "You burst out of the shower, you're dripping water all over my floor, and you're NAKED! GET BACK IN THE SHOWER!!!" He said and hurled the bed. Luckily for Netto, it missed barely and left a dent in the wall. "What's going on?" Haruka shouted. "Nothing Mom!" Rock shouted back. Fuyuki went into the bathroom to examine the water temperature computer. He looked back at his brother, just standing there in the middle of his room. Fuyuki tossed a towel to him. "Cover yourself. No one wants to see your naked ass, Netto." Netto obeyed. Fuyuki looked at the water temp. computer. "Ugh, it's got a virus." He walked over and grabbed Starman's PET. He pressed a button on it before saying "You can open your eyes, Starman." Then he plugged Starman into the computer. "What do we got in there, Starman?" Fuyuki called. "Just a grey navi who's babbling about revenge on Hikari Netto. I'll take care of it." The grey navi in question laughed. "You think you can stop Scorchman V.2?" Starman pointed an open hand in his direction. "Yes." Then he made a crushing motion with his hand. "Meteor!" Starman called out. Scorchman looked up to see a flaming rock falling on him. Scorchman got crushed. "Okay, he's gone." Fuyuki plugged Starman out. He looked at Netto. "Get back in there and finish up or I'll put you in there myself." Netto ran in and shut the door. "I didn't mean to run out naked like that!" He shouted from the other side of the door. "I was just surprised!" Fuyuki yelled back "Just take the damn shower!!!" Fuyuki sighed and fell down on the bed. "Starman. Did it work?" Starman sighed. "Yeah, although I feel dirty just having the files in my PET." Rock asked "What are you talking about?" Fuyuki grinned. "I had Starman use the webcam function on his PET.” “You took pictures of all that just happened?” Rock asked. “I’m gonna use them to blackmail Netto later.” Fuyuki said. Than he gave Rock the tell-and-you-die look. “It sure would be terrible if he found out...” Fuyuki said. “Okay, I get it.” Rock sighed. Starman's PET made a beep noise, as well as Rockman's. "We've got a news bulletin." Starman said. Rock read it aloud. "The whole Ameroupe Network is in flames." "I'll stop it." Starman said. "Hold on, Starman. The navi obviously has the potential to wipe out an entire countries Network. You and I haven't trained enough yet." Starman nodded. Fuyuki smiled at Rock. "I think we need to send out two people with legendary skills." Fuyuki got up. ''When Netto gets out of the shower, tell him everything that happened. I'd go myself, but Starman and I aren't as good as you two in battle as you two." He grabbed Starman's PET and walked out of the room. "We're gonna be training in the Ura Internet." He said. Shortly after he left, Netto walked out of the shower(This time with clothes on.). "Where's Fuyuki?" Rock explained everything to Netto. "Well then, let's go. Plug-In, Rockman!" Rockman ran through the Akihara Network, but on his way to Ameroupe he crashed into Iceman. "Watch where you're going, Rockman!" Iceman mumbled. ''Sorry. I'm in a hurry to Ameroupe." Iceman gasped. "Are you thinking about taking on the navi who's raising hell?'' he asked. Rock nodded. "Then we'll come with you." Tohru said. "Thanks, you guys." Netto said. Iceman and Rockman ran to Ameroupe. They saw navis running everywhere. One ran up to Iceman and grabbed him. "BEWARE OF THE SUN GOD!!!" He screamed, then ran. "What the heck is going on today?!?'' Rock asked no one in particular, shaking his head in disblief. They ran into the square, where a amazing sight greeted them.

Chapter 8:The Sun God, Ra.

The whole place was set on fire. In the middle of the flames stood a navi. The navi had a huge gold body that looked like Serenade's. The body was completely gold, and no other colors. On his back were four huge golden feathered wings. The navi's head was fairly human, he had a calm expression, warm eyes that had no pupils. It had long gold hair that went down to his waist. In one hand he held a katana. The blade glowed pink. This navi was facing off against Gutsman. "I shall give you one more chance. Do you wish to run?" The navi said in a calm, soothing voice. Gutsman was beat up badly. "No way! I ain' gettin' beat up by a girl-lookin' sissy, gutsu!" He shouted out. The navi then said "I gave you your chance. Now I must take your life." "Mega Guts Fist!" Gutsman shouted. The navi stood, unflinching. Just before the attack connected, a wall of flames leapt up and blocked off all forces." The navi then vanished and appeared behind Gutsman. He slashed him with his katana, and flames shot everywhere. He lifted his hand and the flames seemed to form anound it. He thrust his hand towards Gutsman, and the flames launched at him. Gutsman was enveloped by flames. The powerful navi lifted his katana and made a circular shape with it, creating a small flame wheel. "you thought you could fight the sun god. This is your punishment." He said before launching the wheel at Gutsman. Iceman jumped in front of Gutsman and launched a blizzard at the wheel. The wheel of fire froze and shattered. Megaman leapt at the navi. "AquaSword!" Netto said as he downloaded the chip. Rockman, taking the navi by surprise, slashed him across the chest. Bubbles and foam flew everywhere, and the navi looked a little damage, but he wasn't worried. He even looked a little amused. "Little boy, you think you can stand up to me?" He asked. "I don't know, but you hurt my friend! I can't take that lightly!" Rockman responded. Iceman hurled a chunk of ice at the navi, and it managed to hit him, doing some damage, but very little damage. "I shall show you some mercy. You may walk away from this area, unharmed." Netto shouted "No way! We're gonna bat you down, right, Rockman?" The naivs eyes widened. "You are Rockman?" He asked. "Yeah, what's it to you?" The navis face went back to it's normal, calm, expression. "I see. And you must be Hikari Netto." He said, motioning towards Netto. He then looked at Iceman and Tohru. Both of them we're nervous. Did this navi know them as well? The navi turned away. you could see from the way he looked at them that he thought they were just dust mites not worth the trouble. "HEY!!!" Tohru shouted. "You just gonna ignore me, punk?" Iceman shouted. But it was useless. The navi had turned his attention back to Rockman. "So you two are the ones who defeated my underling, Scorchman." He said. Rock gasped. "Scorchman?" The navi said "Yes, Scorchman. Although a little too brash and energetic for his own good, he was a loyal servant." Then the navi clapped. "Defeating him was no small feat. I applaud you." Netto became very angry. "Why did you make him do the things he did? Why did you order him to burn down a house?!?" He demanded. the navi closed his eyes. "I merely ordered Scorchman to steal some data from that computer. He burnt the house down of his own accord. He also tried to get revenge against your operator, Hikari Netto, against my wishes. I will not be held responsible for anyone he might have injured." He said, calmly. Rockman and Netto both were shocked. "How could you not care about something like that?!?" Netto shouted. "He nearly killed an innocent girl and her family! He was under your control! And you can say that you aren't responsible?!?" Rock shouted "You are probably the most heartless navi I've ever seen!'' The navi made an amused smile. "Emotions are useless. They get in the way of things. That is why I got rid of mine." He said. Rock and Netto went into Full Synchro. "Tohru, log Iceman out. This could be very dangerous." Netto said. Tohru nodded, and Iceman disappeared. The flames all around the navi seemed to grow higher and roar louder. "I see that someone else should interfere with my search for the Enigma Key. Rockman, I shall give you one more chance. Do you wish to run?" He said. "Never!" rock's reply was. "Do not expect any mercy." the navi said, and ran up to Rockman very fast. He gripped him around the neck and squeezed. Flames danced all around Rock's body. His very aura is a blazing flame! I really could die! Rock thought. "Get...your...filthy...hands...OFF ME!" Rock shouted and he kicked the navi, releasing the grip on his neck. He landed. "Who are you?" Rock asked. The navi put away his sword. "I am Ra, the Sun God, and the fourth soldier of the DarkStalkers." A voice, just as emotionless and calm as Ra's, said "Ra, We do not have time to waste. Eliminate this navi as quick as you can." Ra nodded. "Yes, Setsu." He said. He formed some flames into a spike. He thrust it at Rock. Rock jumped it. He ran up and hit Ra with a ChargeShot. "LavaStage, Battlechip, in." Said Setsu. The whole area became a molten pit, with lava and fire leaping up everywhere. However, it didn't seem to affect Rock. "Our surroundings can now be controlled by me. Your deletion is evident." Ra said, pointing his hand underneath Rock's feet. It seemed to heat up. Rockman ran away just in time to avoid a huge jet of lava destroying him. All of the sudden an arrow with a tip shaped like a star flew at Ra and missed by a short amount. Then a hail of the arrows rained down on him and a few even stuck to him. They both looked to see..."Starman?" Rock shouted. "In the flesh." Starman said, grinning. "Alright you emotionless freak! Leave your hands off my friend!" He said. He launched another Star Arrow. Then he chased him with his buster gun. Ra was dodging the shots, but he couldn't dodge them all when Rockman started firing as well. So Ra shot a wall of flames at them. Rockman noticed Gutsman was stilll here, because he was so injured he couldn't move. "Gutsman! Log out!" Rock shouted. "Okay, guts!" Gutsman shouted back and logged out. The wall of fire was approching. It looked like it would consume their very souls. "Starman, Full Synchro!" Fuyuki shouted, and they initiated as well. "It's no use. That things gonna swallow us up." Rock said. The two navis, and their operators, braced for the impending death by flames. "DARK AURA!" Someone's voice, female, shouted. They looked up. Slur was in front of them, and her Dark Aura was nullifying the flaming wall. "Slur?!? Why are you helping us?" Slur responded "Duo has been watching you. He decided to spare Earth, but he sent me down to keep watch over the planet and help you and your friends." Rock nodded. "It's good to have someone as powerful as you on our side.'' He said. "Powerful, indeed." Said Starman. Rock looked at Starman. He was blushing. ''She's like a goddess..." He said. "Starman, we don't have time for this." Fuyuki said. Ra was standing where the flame wall had been. He ran at them. "Split up!" Slur shouted, and the navis strafed off in different directions. "Meteor!" Starman shouted, launching it down onto Ra. It hit Ra, doing enough damage to show a wound. Ra ran at Starman and slashed him with his katana. "Now I see why Rock and Netto were having trouble with you." He said, despite his wound. It wasn't enough to cause major pain, but it still hurt. Rock ran up to Ra with a BetaSword and slashed his back. Ra formed a BetaSword made from flames and started fighting Rock, BetaSword to BetaSword. Slur took advantage of this moment to jump above the battle. She launched a ball of dark energy down towards the battle. "Starman, Rockman, run!" She shouted. They did so, and the ball hit Ra. Upon contact, it created a huge explosion of dark energy. Ra was badly hurt from this attack, but then he saw something gleam. He flew over to it, using all of his wings so nobody would stop him. He grabbed the object. "Setsu, I have found the Enigma Key." He said. "Good. Log out." Setsu responded. Ra turned. "I have found what I need. If time permitted me, I would finish this. Let us settle the scores later." He said, and logged out. All of the flames vanished. "Whew, it's over." Rock said. Starman walked up to Slur. He pulled out some cyberflowers and handed them to her. "Hey baby, is your dad a thief? 'Cause I'm wondering who stole the stars outta the sky and put them in your beautiful eyes." He said. Slur punched Starman over the back of the head. HARD. Starman flew into the ground. He was hurt badly. "Starman..." Fuyuki sighed. "Cassanova." Slur said angrily. She turned to Rock. "I'm going to be in your network area. If you need me, just look around. I'll be seeing you two later." She said. As she was walking away, Starman shouted "Wait! Don't leave! I need you!" Slur turned around and shot Starman with a vulcan. She then walked away with an annoyed "Hmph!" "Your navi has a crush on Slur." Netto said in disbelief to Fuyuki. "It scares me too." Fuyuki replied.

Author Notes:Ah yes, where should we start? Let's see...well, first of all, Ra is NOT a DarkStalker. He is one of my own original characters, just like Fuyuki. I wanted to include Slur in this fanfic because she is SO AWESOME. I also thought it would be funny if Starman had a crush on her. Setsu is Ra's operator. Chapter 9:The First DarkStalker to die.

"My beloved Slur...I wish I could see you again..." Starman sighed. "She is in the area. Why don't you go see her?'' Fuyuki said. Starman smiled. "Thank you, Fuyuki." He said and vanished faster than Quickman. "What's going on?" Netto asked, walking in the house. Fuyuki was on the couch, doing some maintenaince on his PET. "Oh, hey Netto. Nothing much." He said. "Mom said to do your homework right away." "Right after school?" Netto groaned. "She sounded serious. She left afterwards, telling me to look after you." Fuyuki said. Netto walked in to his room. "Might as well start on this." He said. About half an hour later, Fuyuki burst into the room. "Netto! We got trouble!" Netto shut the book. "What's going on?" "Starman went to go woo Slur, but now both of them are trapped by a navi who calims he with that group Ra mentioned, DarkStalkers!" Netto grabbed his PET. "Let's go, Rockman!" He sent Rock into the cyberworld. Rock looked around. "Looks like they haven't reached here yet." At tht moment, Starman and Slur burst through a building. "He's strong." Slur said. "Yeah." Starman agreed. The person they were talking about came through the debris. He was a wolf standing upright wearing purple ripped pants. A werewolf. "Starman, let's get revenge." Fuyuki said, downloading a chip. "You cannot destroy Tailbane!" The werewolf howled. Starman, Rockman, and Slur each downloaded the BetaSword P.A. and completely annihilated the wolfman. Starman laughed. "He sure seemed easier when you came." He said to Rock. Rock laughed. Even Slur managed a giggle. Fuyuki looked at the clock. "Mom said she'd be home around 5." Netto panicked. He scrambled down to his homework...and saw that it was done. "The hell?" He said. He looked at Fuyuki. "You owe me big, Netto." He said happily. He walked out. "He's such an awesome brother." Rock said. "Yeah." Netto responded.

Author Notes:Damn, a short chapter. TailBane is the first real DarkStalker to appear. I didn't want to create a long fight sequence with him. Giggle sounds like a wierd word.

Chapter 10:Kidnapped...
Fuyuki looked through the chips. "I like this one." He said, pointing to it. "How much is it?" Higure looked to see what chip he pointed to. "HeroSword, huh? that'll be 15000 zenny." Fuyuki sighed. "Great. Thanks anyway though." He said, and left the store. He had been looking around Akihara. It had changed a lot. It was more beautiful than when he was 6. "I haven't been home all day. I should go back before Mom worries." Starman said "Hey Fuyuki, message from Mom. It ain't good." Fuyuki looked at the message. His eyes widened as he read it. It said Fuyuki! Netto's been kidnapped. There's a note in his room saying that if we don't hand over Starman, Netto dies! Fuyuki ran home. "Mom!" Haruka looked back at him. "It's true. all we know is he's somewhere in the city." Fuyuki sat down on the couch, his head facing the ground. "Why...did they do this?" He said. Tears rolled down his cheeks. He was crying. He hadn't done so in 9 years. It was pretty pathetic to see a 15 year old cry, but then again, most 15 year-olds don't have their younger brothers kidnapped. Meiru, Dekao, Tohru, and Yaito burst into the house. "Is Netto really kidnapped?" Meiru asked. Haruka nodded. Dekao said "What should we do?" "Get him back." Said a voice. It was Fuyuki. "I'm going to get him back." He said. Haruka remembered the adress of the place was on the note as well. Fuyuki must have seen it. Either way, the teen sounded deadly serious. His voice was scary. As he was walking out the door, Tohru asked "Who are you?" Fuyuki stopped. "Netto's brother." As he proceeded to walk out the house, everyone stared after him. "How come we never saw him before?" Yaito said suspiciously. "He wasn't lying." Haruka said. "We can't get into details right now, though."

Fuyuki walked down the street. ''Are you okay?" Starman asked. Even he was afraid of Fuyuki's anger. "Just violently pissed off." Fuyuki said. Starman said "We have tons of mail." Fuyuki looked at the messages: I'm going to help you out! I can't imagine the pain you're going through, so I'll give you all my support! -Meiru. Anyone who does something to Netto must pay! So I'm gonna help, Netto's brother! -Dekao. I'll try my best to help with the rescue! -Yaito. If you're going to try to help Netto, so am I! -Tohru. I heard about what happened. I'll do everything in my power to help. -Miyuki. This is possibly one of the most evil things ever done. Although I don't know you, I trust that you aren't lying when you say you are Netto's brother. I'll aid you. -Enzan. Fuyuki smiled. He had support. He reached the building and saw everyone waiting for him. "Glad to see you're all helping me." He told them all they needed to know. "Rock is being held in a cyberprison. 4 of you will go save Roc, and the other two will come with me." They decided that Yaito, Dekao, Enzan, and Mizuki would try to free Rock, and Meiru and Tohru would go with Fuyuki.

Fuyuki grabbed Meiru and Tohru and charged up the stairs. Considering he still had his speed as a navi, he was pretty damn fast. He ran up the first three floors. The third floor floor had a security system. It took the three an hour to figure out that it required one person to stay and mess around with it while the others proceeded. Tohru stayed as Meiru and Fuyuki ran up the stairs. The man was waiting with Netto tied to a chair. His PET was in a corner. "Fuyuki! Meiru!" Netto cried out. "Shut up, brat!" The man said, and pointed a cleaver to his throat. "You two destroyed my navi! I'm with the DarkStalkers no more!" The man said. Fuyuki said "I'll gie you something-pain." He punched the man across the face. Normally this wouldn't have done anything, but Fuyuki wasn't a normal kid. He still had his strength as a navi. So this punch hurt the man. He was bleeding. "You brat!" The man said and sliced at him with the cleaver. Fuyuki blocked it with his arm. He was bleeding, but only slightly from the cleaver. His face had the look of a killer as he yanked the cleaver out of the man's hand and picked him up. He punched him across the face. "You dare try to kidnap my brothers!" He said. He punched the man again. And again. And again. He wouldn't stop. blood was flowing everywhere, and the man was bleeding and injured like crazy. He punched Fuyuki futiley. Fuyuki picked up the cleaver. Meiru and Netto gasped. "Oh my god..." Meiru said. "Maybe you'd be better without that hand." Fuyuki said, and sliced the man's hand off with the cleaver. Blood flowed aeverywhere, and the man screamed. "SHUT UP!" Fuyuki yelled. "I'm sick of your screaming, so your head goes next!" He screamed. He raised the cleaver. Rock returned to his PET. "FUYUKI!!!" Rock and Netto screamed at the same time. Fuyuki snapped back to his senses. He dropped the cleaver and untied Netto. He hugged his brother, and held Rock's PET. "I was so worried..." He said. He let go of Netto and gave him his PET. He looked at his hands and body. They were covered in blood. "I nearly killed a man." He said. "And you're...gonna regret not killing me..." The man said, and pressed a button. Fuyuki screamed "Meiru!" and shoved her down to the third floor with Tohru. The fourth floor exploded.

Author Notes:Ooh, a dark violent chapter. Fuyuki tends to get a little violent when someone hurts his loved ones. The guy who kidnapped Netto was Tailbane's operator.

Chapter 11:We're in a desert?

Netto woke up. He was in a tent. He looked around to see sand lying all aroud him. The beach? No, I would hear the ocean. He thought. He was bandaged up. The man had wounded him, but he never remembered being bandaged. He saw his PET lying on a blanket. Fuyuki walked into the tent. "You're awake." He said. Fuyuki kneeled down next to Netto. "How are you feeling?" "Fine." Netto repsonded. "But where are we, when did you get a tent and all these supplies, and what happened to the others?'' Fuyuki sighed. "We're in a desert, oddly enough. I found this stuff lying around, and the others are still in the city. The fourth floor was actually a hovership. It took off with us in it and brought us here for some reason." Then he hugged Netto. "Thank God you and Rock are okay." He said. "I was so damn worried about you two." *sniff* He's crying? Netto thought. Fuyuki stood up. "There's an oasis near us." He said. "We can live off of that and the fruit growing there until we think of an escape." He said. "I'm gonna go look around." "Wait!" Netto said, standing up. He was about to say something but felt a draft. He looked down at himself. He was bandaged, but realized something was missing. "Where are my clothes?"

Netto was in the oasis. It was pretty warm, but pretty cold as well. In the middle. "I can't beleive I have to stay in here for awhile." He said aloud. "Oh, so you don't want me to wash your clothes?" Fuyuki called. "Why aren't you washing your clothes?" Netto called back. "I did when you were asleep for 2 days." "WHAT?" Netto said and stood up, then quickly sat back down. "Well, whatever. Your clothes are all washed." Fuyuki said. "Thanks!" Netto said as he ran up to them. He put all of them quickly. Fuyuki looked over the hill. "See anything Starman?" "...No..." Fuyuki sighed. Netto looked down at his PET. "Rock?" Rock was sitting down, thinking. "Now now, Netto. This is important." Netto sighed. "Fine!" Fuyuki walked down. "I know where we are." Netto raised an eyebrow. "Really." "I saw a familiar landmark. We're in the Sahara." Netto gasped. "That huge desert from the legends?" He asked. Rock shouted "I knew it!" "I already sent an email to everyone. They know we're here." Fuyuki said. "Let's make the best of this situation while we wait."

The Sahara...I didn't even knew it existed...I mean, I heard that people knew about it in the year 2005, but that was long ago...Netto thought. "Something on your mind?" Rock said. "It's just amazing how we're in a legend." Netto said. "Yeah. Wait until we tell everyone.'' Fuyuki walked up to them. "I got water!" He said. His pants and sleeves we're rolled up. "Jeez, have you noticed how hot this place is?" Netto suddenly realized that. "Yeah. I'm gonna go look around." He said. "Don't go far. This place is huge." Fuyuki shouted. Netto walked off. "I wanna explore this place." He said to Rock. About an hour later, he thought differently. "Why the hell did I want to explore this stupid place?"

"He's not back yet." said Fuyuki. "Starman, send him a message telling him to get his ass back here." Starman wrote the message. "It's sent." Fuyuki put his PET down. "Feel free to screw around. I'm gonna go outside." Fuyuki walked out of the tent. "What are you doing, Netto?" He wondered. He grabbed Starman and all their stuff and followed Netto off in the direction he went in.

An oasis loomed in the distance. "Finally, some water." Netto said. He ran towards it but it vanished. "Oh come on! enough with the damn mirages already!" He said. Netto sighed. "So...hot...'' "Try not to think about it." Rock said. "Easy for you to say! You can't feel it!" Netto shouted. He took off his shirt and wrapped it around his waist. "Gotta find some water or I'm gonna die out here." He said. A big black thing loomed in the distance. "What's...that?" He said. Netto walked towards it, but he was becoming more tired with each step. The black thing was becoming larger, and Netto could see blue stripes running down it. "Great...I'm fainting..." He heard something calling him in the distance. Netto! "Just...my...imagination..." He said, and fainted.

Fuyuki ran up towards his brother's body. He was okay, just got heat exhaustion. "Fuyuki! Thank God you're here!" Rock said. "Oh, hey. Did you get my message?" Fuyuki asked. Rock shook his head. "No." BEEP. "Yes." Fuyuki sighed. He picked up Netto and hoisted him over his shoulder with one hand. He hooked Rockman on Netto's backpack. "We're gonna go see what that is." he said. "Well, it seems to be a storage container." Starman and Rock said at the same time. They looked at eachother. "That was wierd." They both said at the same time. "So was that." They said at the same time again. Fuyuki walked up to it and smashed a hole in it with his fist. "It's a huge silo of water." He said. He laid Netto down and dumped a handful of water on the knocked out teen. Netto's eyes flickered open. "Where am I?" He said. "We're still in the Sahara." Fuyuki answered. Netto sat up. 'I thought I heard someone calling my name..." Fuyuki nodded. "That was me. I called you right before you fainted.'' Netto got up and put his shirt on. "What do we do now?" He asked. "I think I hear a chopper approaching." Fuyuki said. He was right, as a helicopter hovered above them within seconds. A ladder rolled down. "Hop on!" A man's voice said. The two brothers grabbed their stuff an climbed. When they reached the top and set their stuff down, Netto looked at the pilot. "Laika?" He said. "Yep." Fuyuki and Starman said at the same time "You know him?" Roc replied "Well we battled on a few occasions." Laika nodded. "We got an email stating where you were from someone named Starman." Starman raised his hand. "Guilty." He said. "I can't believe you guys survived out there for 8 days." Searchman said. "8 days?!?'' The group said in shock. Laika nodded. "That must've been hard. I bet you guys suffered a bunch of crap." Laika said. The teens looked out the window. The Sahara was vanishing, and land was appearing. "Next Stop:Akihara!" Laika shouted and took off.

Author Notes:I figured since this takes place in the future, The Sahara would just be a legend. This was actually a fun chapter to write.

Chapter 12:Ura Inn and The Exorcist.

"Netto! Today's the day we're going to the Ura Inn with Yaito!" Rock said. Netto woke up. "Oh man!" He said, and got dressed quickly. He grabbed his stuff and ran out. Fuyuki was already outside, ready. "Took ya." He said. Netto sighed. "Just remember:It is a total coincidence that you're at the Inn as well." Netto said. "Gotcha, that's why you're taking the bus with everyone else while I take the MetroLine." Fuyuki said. "Meet you there." He said as he ran towards the Metroline. "Netto!" Yaito shouted. Everyone was with her, and they we're all heading towards him. "Wow, for once you're on time." Dekao said. "Yeah, well I just woke up early today." He said. The bus arrived at the Ura Inn. Fuyuki was out in the front, netbattling Tamako. "Hey Netto, is that your brother?" Tohru asked. "...Hey, yeah that is him! He said he was going on vacation somewhere. He must've been talking about here." Netto said. After the netbattle he turned around. "Netto?!? Why are you here?'' He pretended. "We're having a vacation here. So this is where you were talking about when you said it too?" Netto asked. "Yeah. This is a coincidence!" Fuyuki said. Everyone else shrugged. "Well, I guess it is fun to have more people." Yaito said. They all walked inside. "That was good acting." Fuyuki whispered. "Yeah, they bought it." Netto said. "Hey, um...Fuyuki, is it? You wanna stay with us?" Meiru asked. He nodded. "That would be nice." They went into their room.

"Three 7's." Dekao said and threw down the cards. "Five 8's" Yaito said, throwing her cards down. "Six 9's." Tohru said, placing his cards down. "Three 10's" Meiru said and placed down the cards. "2 Jacks." Fuyuki said and placed down the cards. "BS!" Meiru shouted gleefully. "Dammit." Fuyuki said and grabbed all the cards. "She's got the luck of the gods, brother." Netto said, laughing. Ater about six more rounds of BS, Meiru had quite a pile of chips stacked in front of her. "I win!" Everyone sighed. "Now what should we do?" Tohru asked. At that moment, Tamako opened the door. "Sorry too interupt, but do you guys have room for one more person?" She asked. Yaito nodded. "Okay, because someone needs to stay here but all of our rooms our booked." Tamako explained. The girl walked in. She seemed shy, because she looked down at the ground, blushing. "you'll be staying with them." Tamako said. she left and the young girl walked in. "Umm...hello..." She said. Meiru got up and held the girls hand. "Hello. I'm Meiru. Pleased to meet you." The girl looked up. She had pink eyes, grey long pants and a grey long sleeve shirt with a black vest and black skirt on. Oddly enough, she had green hair that was done in a ponytail. "I'm...Ori..." The girl said. Netto noticed something clipped to her skirt. "You have a PET?" He asked, and Fuyuki smacked him across the head. "Idiot! You don't just go up to a girl and start asking about her objects!" He said. Ori laughed. "It's fine...really. I have a navi too." "Are you any good at netbattling?'' Tohru asked. "Yes, actually." She said. "You want to team battle?" She asked. Everyone nodded. "You can pick the teams." Yaito said. Ori nodded. "I choose those three." Ori said, pointing to Netto, Fuyuki, and Meiru. "The other three seem powerful enough to equal out the numbers." she said. Everyone pulled out thei PETs. The battlegrid appeared. On one side stood Gutsman, Iceman, and Glyde, while on the other side stood Rock, Starman, Roll, and a new navi. The new navi appeared female, and was pale skinned. She was wearing an ancient chinese outfit, and she had talisman on her head. She had huge, scything claws. "You're Ori's navi, right?" Roll asked. The navi nodded. "My name is Hsienko. Pleased to meet you." She said. The battle began. Starman and Rockman both took on Gutsman. "Hey, no fair, de gutsu!" Gutsman said. Roll took on Iceman. Hsienko walked like a zombie, her claws draggin against the ground, towards Glyde. She's like no other navi I've ever seen before. Glyde thought. Hsienko then slashed her claws against Glyde. He flew over it, but Hsienko bent backwards in a shape that would normally break anyone's spine, and launched a beam upwards at Glyde. Now I get it...She's a ghost-type. He thought. She jumped up at him and wrapped a mighty claw around him. She then dropped down and smashed the other claw against the ground. Several hellbound souls flew out and blasted Glyde. Hsienko showed no signs of stopping as she jammed her claws into the ground. The fingers moved up and down, slicing across the ground like a giant plow. She moved towards Glyde. Glyde flew at her with a HeroSword. She jumped up nimbly and sliced across Glyde's back. Hard. Glyde kneeled down. "I can no longer fight." He said. Hsienko nodded, and threw back her claws. The claws and the sleeves fell behind her, and her real, human arms popped out. "I'll just watch my teamates fight." She said with a smile. Rock and Starman were taking down Gutsman easily. All of the sudden he loaded a Z-Punch. The fists started to fly out at Rockman and Starman. While Rock decided to dodge and shoot, Starman had a different approach. He grabbed the fist heading for him, turned it around and sent it back towards Gutsman. "I believe this is yours." He said. "OH SHI-" was all Gutsman could say before he got hit. "Ouch, gutsu..." He muttered. Roll was just finishing up Iceman. "Roll Arrow!" She shouted and launched it. The arrow hit home, and defeated Iceman. "I guess I was wrong about the odds." Ori said, smiling. "Your navi seems...different." Meiru said. "She's a DarkStalker." Ori said. "You're with them?!?'' Netto asked. Ori shook her head. "I betrayed them and they..." She said, and then she put her head down. "They stole most of my spirit." "What do you mean by that?" Fuyuki asked. "The leader...He is pure evil...I don't even think he's human." She said. "He did this..." She said, and rolled up the sleeve on her right arm. Everyone gasped. Her arm was all hard and rocky with scales running up it. There was a large vein sticking out. It pulsed gently. The skin was blue and felt like diamond. "Along with stealing most of my spirit...He cursed me. Eventually it will spread over my whole body, and I'll become a gigantic stalagmite." She said. Fuyuki got up. "I'm going for a walk." He said, and left. Ori looked at a computer in the room. She pulled out a talisman with ancient kanji all over it. "Begone!" She shouted and threw the talisman on the computer. The computer glowed a bright blue and something screamed. Then the computer returned to normal. "Um...What just happened?'' Tohru asked. "There was an evil presence in the computer. I exorcised it." Ori responded. "It was probably a spy for the DarkStalkers.'' "Okaaaay...But what did you do?" Netto asked. "Being with the DarkStalkers wasn't all that bad. The leader taught me how to use talismans and sutras to exorcise navis with pure hearts. After I betrayed them I reversed the powers of the sacred items to exoricise navis with evil hearts."

Fuyuki walked down the street near the Inn. "A person who is so evil it's beyond human...I wonder if that's even possible." He said. ''Actually, I heard a rumor about the DarkStalkers." Starman said. "According to what I heard, every member is different in a special way. Like not only are their navis unique, but so are their operators." Fuyuki nodded. "That makes sense. Ra showed no emotions and seemed to be afraid of nothing. His operator, Setsu, seemed exactly like that." Fuyuki said. Starman responded "Hsienko seemed like a ghost navi. Maybe that means Ori is an undead." Fuyuki laughed. "Sorry, Starman. I just doubt that. Maybe she's like a monk or a necromancer." Starman sighed. "Great, an operator who's into necromancing." Fuyuki heard whispering. He sidled along the building, and peeked around the corner. "...Yes, we're letting her go." A scientist said. "Really? This is a first. No navi has ever left the archives before." The other scientist. "Yes, well this navi...Terra...seemed very unique." Fuyuki held in a gasp. Terra? "We'll be giving her a new netop. This one lives in a small island country called Ka'en." The first scientist said. "Ka'en, huh? Who is the new netop?" "A young girl named Aska." The second scientist nodded. "Well, we should honor the navis wishes before her new netop." "Wishes?" Fuyuki said quietly to himself. "You mean how she wants to email her old operator and his new navi?" "Yes. She said she'll miss him, and she wants to let him know." Fuyuki placed his hand over his heart as he walked back towards the hotel. "Terra...misses me?" He said. "Who's Terra?" Starman asked. "Remember how I told you when I was a half navi, I had a different navi?" Starman nodded. "Yeah. So this Terra was your old navi?" Fuyuki said "Yeah. She was amazing. She could control any type of rock, and she was a whimsical girl. She was a free spirit, and she was almost always happy. She saw me through a thousand battles, and we were the greatest partners." Starman sighed. "She sounds a lot better than I'll ever be." Fuyuki shook his head. "No. You may not be Terra, but I still like you all the same. You and I are great partners. I'm sure Terra would want that too. You and I are gonna be just as good. You're awesome, Starman. I liked Terra more than anything, But I still wouldn't replace you to get her back. She would think the same." Starman smiled. "Thanks, Fuyuki. You don't know how much that means to me." Then he sighed. "If only Slur would be that way...'' Fuyuki laughed. "Keep working on it, and she'll dig you." He walked back into the room.

"Hey, Fuyuki." Netto asked. "Yeah, Netto-kun?" Netto pointed towards the door. "We're going into the hot springs. You wanna come?" Fuyuki shook his head. "Nah. I got things to do." Netto shrugged. "Whatever." all the guys walked in the door that said "Male bath," and the females went in the door marked "Female bath." Fuyuki was the only one in the room. He flopped down on the couch with his newspaper. "Nothing intresting except for this article." He said. Starman read it aloud:"Three headed navi betrothed to a corrupted program. 'He's all I live for.' the program says.' " Starman shook his head. "What is going on in over there?'' "Actually, it's pretty boring around that area." A voice said. Fuyuki threw the paper aside to see who spoke. It was Enzan. "Oh, hey. What're you doing here?'' Fuyuki said. "Just checking up on the two kids who survived The Sahara and their friends. Where is everyone?" Enzan asked. "There.'' he pointed to the baths. "...All together?" Enzan asked. "Yep." Enzan winced. "That's wierd." Fuyuki nodded. "I never liked public baths either." Enzan sat down on the couch. "Either way, I have two things to tell you." He said. "Go on." Fuyuki said. "First of all, that group that we're against-The DarkStalkers-are planning something. I heard in the Ura Internet that they're planning to attack a steaming area with one of their best operatives, known as Huitziln. Second, I need to ask a favor." "Well, I guess we owe you for helping rescue Netto and Rock." Fuyuki replied. "My father and I got in another argument and he threw me out of the house. Literally threw." Enzan said. "He actually picked you up and tossed you?" Fuyuki asked. "Hurled my ass like a frisbee." Enzan said, sighing. "So, anyways, I need somewhere to stay for a few days. Mind if I stay with you guys for awhile?" Fuyuki responded "I'm fine with it." Enzan looked down at the paper Fuyuki was reading. "Top 3 movies this week:The Akihara Horror, The Ring 20, and Leashed." He read aloud. "Not very intresting picks." He added. "The Ring 20 wasn't even scary." Fuyuki agreed. "I saw The Akihara Horror. THAT was scary." Starman said. "When the hell did you see that?" Fuyuki asked suspiciously. "I downloaded it onto the PET from Ebay 2000." Starman said. "Leashed was boring." Blues said. "I can't believe we watched that." "You actually watched Leashed?" Fuyuki said to Enzan. "...It was either that or go to an opera house with my father." Enzan said. "I still feel the shame of watching that movie." Fuyuki pat his back. "Don't worry about it." Starman said "Oh yeah? This will help you forget!" Starman said, and played the scariest part from The Akihara Horror. Enzan and Fuyuki's eyes widened. Enzan sat on the couch with a Oh-my-god-that's-disgusting look on his face, and Fuyuki wretched in the nearest garbage can. "That's...sick!" He said, in between heaves. "I can't believe all the blood shot out like a sprinkler." Enzan said. All of the sudden, there was pounding on the Male Bath door. "It's locked!" Netto's voice said. "What's going on?" Fuyuki shouted. "It just got really steamy in here, and the water is hotter than hell!" Netto shouted. "The door is locked, so If we don't get outta here soon, we'll suffocate!" Netto shouted. "...Planning to attack a steaming area..." Enzan said. "Oh man, they're attacking the springs!" Fuyuki shouted. "Netto! We'll stop it!" He said. "How do you plan on stopping it?" Enzan asked. Fuyuki pointed to a computer. "That should be linked to the water heater for the springs." He said. Both of the teens ran over to it and plugged their navis in. "Time to whoop some DarkStalkers." Starman said.

Author Notes:The card game everyone was playing at the beginning was BS, a fun game. Ori is my own original character, but Hsienko is a real DarkStalker and is not mine. Ka'en is a country I made up, as well as the girl named Aska. Huitziln is also a real DarkStalker. The movies that Fuyuki, Enzan, Blues, and Starman were talking about are homages to some real movies(The Akihara Horror=The Amityville Horror, The Ring 20=The Ring 1 and 2, Leashed=Unleashed.)

Chapter 13:Huitziln, Ancient Android

The heater device was overpowering. The very air around it was burning. Starman and Blues ran into the area to see a big golden hulking mechanical navi channeling his energy into the heater, thus making it hotter. "We've got to stop him." Blues said and ran at him. The navi turned and said "Scanning-Two navis. Deletion=Imminent." It the turned towards them and transformed it's arm into a cannon and it shot out millions of missles and huge energy blasts from the cannon at them. It was very hard to dodge. "Geez...This guy's fully loaded!" Starman said. "Just keep dodging and look for a blind spot!" Blues said. The android looked up. "Evasion=99%" It said. "Domo Arigato, Mr.Roboto." Starman said before delivering a meteor to the androids head. "Requesting assistance." The navi said. His operator appeared on a visual screen. Half of his face was mechanical, he had a roboic arm, and a robotic leg. "Huitziln. Assistance is here." He said in a voice that was part human, part robot. He downloaded a chip none of the navis or their operators had ever seen before. "Aries." He said. Huitziln had guns pop out everywhere, his arms turn into cannons, a sniper popped out of his head. "Aw, crap!" Starman said and ran. "Icewave, chip in!'' Fuyuki said. Starman missed and hit the water heater, seeming to cool it down. "Hm..." Starman thought. He weaved through the missles to try to deliver an attack, but was blown away. Blues was doing the same but it wasn't working. "Blues...We need to do a team attack." Starman panted. Blues nodded. Blues and Starman ran up to Huitziln, weaving through the missles. "Meteor Blade!" Both the operators and their navis shouted. Starman pelted Huitziln with meteors and Blues delivered a series of slashes. Huitzilns guns and arms and legs were ruined. He exploded. "Navi terminated. Retreat." The mechanical operator said, and logged out. "Fuyuki! We need to cool that thing down with Ice attacks!" Starman said. Both operators downloaded IceBall and started throwing them at the heater. In no time at all it was back to normal. Both navis logged out. "How's it in there?" Fuyuki called back. "...It's back to normal again." Netto said. "C'mon out. I bet you don't wanna be in their any longer." Fuyuki said. "Give me a sec. A rock fell on Dekao's head and we think it hurt his brain." Netto shouted. Fuyuki asked "Dekao has a brain?"

Author Notes:Huitziln is, yep, another DarkStalker who's also not my own character. The unknown half machine operator is my own. The phrase Starman said, "Domo Arigato, Mr.Roboto." is a homage to a song called Mr.Roboto.

Chapter 14:The Dark Entity
After everything had calmed down, everyone was back in their room. "Um...why is Enzan still here?" Netto asked. "He's staying with us for a few days." Fuyuki said. "WHAT?!?" Everyone except for Ori(Considering she didn't have the spirit to do so) and Fuyuki said, But Yaito thought Thank you, God. "He and his dad got in an argument and his dad literally threw him out of the house, so he needs a place to stay." Fuyuki said. Everyone except for Fuyuki, Ori, Enzan, and Yaito thought about it. "I don't have a problem with it." Yaito said. "I'm going to go with whatever Meiru thinks." Ori said. Everyone all agreed on it. It was pretty late, so they decided to just watch some random movie from On Demand.

"Hmm...Huitziln, Tailbane...both deleted." Said a voice. The voice's owner was hidden in the shadows. He said "It appears that Netto and his group are going to threaten my plans." The voice said thoughtfully. "I must put this world into eternal darkness, and nothing anyone does can stop me." He pressed a button on his throne. A man walked in. He was dressed in a peculiar outfit, and his body was adorned with ancient writing. "Yes, my master?" The man said. "You are up next. Find the 2nd Enigma Key." the voice commanded. The man bowed. "Yes, leader." He said, and left the room. "I'm counting on you, Anubis." He said.

Everyone decided that they should go to sleep early. Netto, however, couldn't sleep. Ra...Setsu...Tailbane...Ori...
Hsienko...Huitziln...and that mechanical man. Who is so evil that he can control such good netops and their navis? He wondered. Both his brothers were asleep. Ori sat in the corner, unmoving. She was asleep, although she slept in such a way it appeared she was dead. "You can't sleep either?" A voice said quietly to him. It was Enzan. "No." Netto whispered. "I'm thinking about the DarkStalkers." Enzan nodded. "They seem really intent on finding objects they call Enigma Keys.'' He looked up at the ceiling. "When your brother and I were trying to take down that big guy, Huitziln, I noticed that he's a great netbattler. Do you know how long he's been netbattling?" Netto responded. "Yeah. Before either of us were born." Ori's eyes shot open. "Something evil approaches." She said. At that moment, bullets burst through the window and gunshots rang out everywhere. "GET DOWN! Netto shouted, and everyone ducked. Fuyuki got up and ran towards the broken window. "I'll see what's up!" He said and jumped out the window. Nobody saw what happened, but they could hear. "What the? You here to die, kid?" Said a voice, male and adult. Then a gatling gun was fired. "Won't work." Fuyuki said. "What the...you ain't human!" The man said. "I'm human, just not as weak as you." Fuyuki responded. Then there was a sound like a bone snapping, and more gunshots. The man screamed. "Oh for the love of God I just shot your leg!" Fuyuki said. "My...arm...'' The man moaned. "Oh, I broke your arm. Crybaby." Fuyuki said. He then walked in through the window. "Just some guy working for the DarkStalkers, trying to kill us." Fuyuki said. "Oh dear Lord..." Meiru said. She was looking at his arm, as well as everyone else. Fuyuki looked at it. Bullets were all jammed in it, and it was bleeding slightly. "Oh, that? It doesn't hurt." He said. He proceeded to yank the bullets out, each one making a sickening sucking sound as they were yanked out, and he tossed them out the window. "Eew." Everyone said. "Pansies." Ori, surprisingly, said. "She's right, you know. I've seen worse." Fuyuki said, nodding. The hotel manager burst in. "Is everyone all right?" She said. ''Yeah." Netto answered. "He took care of the madman." Yaito said, pointing to Fuyuki. The hotel manager looked like she didn't believe them, but then she saw Fuyuki's arm, and believed. "Oh, let me get some gauze." She said. Fuyuki responded "Nah, it'll heal in a few hours." The hotel manager nodded. "I'm glad you're all okay." She said, and left. Fuyuki got down. "1000 zenny says that news reporters will be swarming this place by morning." He said. "I'm surprised you're all calm." Enzan said. "Well, I was a little surprised when he whined about his arm." Fuyuki responded. Everyone except for Ori and Fuyuki fell down very anime-styled. "Not everyone can have your navi strengths, Fuyuki." Rock said. "I think he forgets easily." Starman sighed. Ori said "That man was...merely a warning..." "What do you mean?" Fuyuki asked. "It was made to show that they intend to destroy us." Ori said without missing a beat. "They're serious about finding...Enigma Keys." "Hey, you were with them. Do you know what Enigma Keys are?" Dekao asked. "...All I know is that they are programs that open the seal on the ultimate navi made by Nebula..." Ori said. "Nebula? I thought they were done for." Enzan said. "Nebula is...But that monster isn't." Ori said. "I betrayed them because of that very reason." Someone yawned. Nobody could tell who in the darkness. "We should get some sleep." Meiru said, and everyone went back to their beds.

Chapter 15: Foreign Exchange Student

After the Ura Inn incident, life has gone back to normal for everyone. However, Netto was facing one of the worst things ever to happen to a kid his age:School(Seriously, people.). "Man, I hate this crap." He said. "You'll be thankful for it when your 43." Rock told him. "Yeah, but right now I'm 11 FRICKEN' YEARS OLD!!!" He said. He walked into his classroom. After the bell rang, Mariko went to the front like she normally does for an announcement. "We have a new student for the foreign exchange program." She said. Netto's ears perked up. New student? Are they any good at netbattling? He thought. "She's from Affriku. Try to make her feel welcome. The girl walked in. Oddly enough, unlike most new kids, she didn't seem bashful at all. "Her name is Kamoka Lauren. You can just take a seat over there by Netto, dear." Mariko said. The new girl-Lauren-walked to her seat. She had a pink PET, brown hair, green eyes, a green shirt with agreen jacket over it, ripped jeans, sandals, a bell around her neck, and two black shapes under her eyes. Her long brown hair was in a ponytail. ...Let's see what she can do after school. Netto thought. Rock whispered "We've got mail." Netto checked. It said I checked the school server with Starman. Here are the answers to all of your homework today. -Fuyuki. Netto smiled. At least someone was being helpful.

"You want to be friends?" Netto asked Lauren. He and his friends had caught up to her after school. "Okay." She said, and shook his hand. "Take out your PET." She commanded. "...Why?" "Because the best way to start off a friendship is a netbattle!" Lauren said. Netto grinned. "I couldn't agree more!" He said. "But I want to battle you last, because you look strongest." She told Netto. "...Okay." He said. To Rock he said "You hear that? The best!" "Don't let it get to your head." Rock warned. Lauren battled Dekao, Yaito, Meiru, and Tohru and wasted them with ease. ''Geez, she's crazy strong!" Dekao said. "What's going on?" Fuyuki said. He had come to pick up Netto, but he was curious as to what was going on. "A netbattle." Dekao said. "And it's my turn!" Netto said.

The navi was decently human. She had grey and blue armor all over her. The armor was shaped like a wolf. The helmet was the top part of a wolf head. She had long, brown hair that went down to her waist. Blue stripes that were pointed at the end were on her face. She had blue eyes. She even had a tail. "My name is Trill!" She said to Rockman. "Please give me a good fight!" Claws popped out of her hands, and she ran at Rock very fast. She was swiping at him fastly, and Rock had barely enough time to dodge. "Rapid Fire!" Rock shouted and shot Trill a bunch of times. They bounced off. "My armor is harder than diamond." She said smiling. Then she formed a small ring above Rockman. The ring floated down onto his neck and formed into a necklace. "What's this?'' He said, looking down at it. "One of my attacks." Trill said. Rockman ran at her with a CyberSword. "SIT BOY!" Trill shouted, and Rockman fell down. "The hell?" Netto said. The necklace on Rockman's neck vanished. "If that necklace is on something when I say sit, they instantly fall down." Trill laughed. Rock loaded a chargeshot and launched it a Trill. This one actually hurt her. "Ow!" She said. She slashed the air with her claws and the nails flew at Rockman. "Style Change! BugStyle!" Netto said, and Rockman changed into BugStyle. "Net*o! W*y are *e using thi* st*le?" Rockman said, the bugs slurring his speech. Netto translated in his head the gibberish to 'Netto, why are we using this style?' "I just wanted to test out this new chip." Netto said and loaded a chip. "GospelCannon! BattleChip, In!" Netto shouted. Rockman looked in awe as Gospel's head appeared where his Rockbuster was, and became a new cannon. He aimed it at Trill. "I don'* k*ow h*w to use *his thi*g, but he*e it go*s!" Rock said. Netto translated once again. 'I don't know how to use this thing but here it goes!' Rock pointed the new Gospel Cannon at Trill and fired. a huge blast of energy shot out and caught Trill by surprise, doing lots of damage to her. Rockman changed back to NormStyle. "Let's only do that when needed.'' Rock said. Trill's armor was pretty damaged. "Tsumikiri-J Sword!" she said, and a huge katana about the length of 3 BetaSwords appeared in her hands. A shield in the shape of an ancient seal appeared in her other hand. She thrust the katana into the ground, and it created ahuge, blue, sparkling dome of energy that kept rapily expanding. It damaged Rockman quite a lot. "The next attack ends it." Trill said, and she ran at Rockman, and Rockman ran at her with a BetaSword. There was a huge slash, and both of them stood there for a minute. Then Trill fell over. Rockman had won. "Wow, you're good." Lauren said, impressed. Netto looked up proudly. "I am the best there is." He said. "...Until Enzan and I whoop your ass." Fuyuki said. Netto looked angry. "Hey, did you ever save the world from Gospel, World 3, or Nebula? No, so can it." Netto said. Everyone, except Netto, laughed as they walked home.

Chapter 16:The Ancient Pharoah Anakaris and the 2nd Enigma Key.

"Hey Netto!! Look on your floor!" Fuyuki said happily. Netto looked down to see bombs everywhere. "W...what the hell?" He said. "Give me your battlechips!" Fuyuki said. "Or I press the button." He motioned towards a remote control he was holding. "But..." Netto said, but Fuyuki cut him off. "Too late." He said, and pressed the button. Netto closed his eyes and braced himself. Nothing happened. Netto opened his eyes and looked down. The bombs had opened and each had small pieces of paper coming out of them that said BOOM. "Fooled you! They're just tooooys." Fuyuki laughed. "Fuyuki, get ready for an unexpected trip when you fall screaming from an open window." Netto replied. "What does that m-" Fuyuki was saying before Netto kicked him in the chest. The force of the kick sent him flying backwards, through the window. "I HAVE NO REGRETS!!!'' He shouted before he fell in a rosebush. "Idiot." Netto muttered. Fuyuki was still in the rosebush. ''Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow!" He said. "This HURTS!" "It's your own fault. You put the fake bombs in there." Starman said. "Oh, shut up." Fuyuki replied, and crawled out of the rosebush. "That...hurt..." He said. He walked inside. "I need to take a shower and get all this crud off of me." Fuyuki said, and placed Starman on his desk and linked him to the computer. "Feel free to screw around." He said before he walked into the bathroom. He shut the door and locked it. Starman went into the cyberworld. "Might as well go shopping. I got lots of free time on my hands." He said and walked into a net shop. After buying a lot of chips, Starman walked out. He pocketed the chip data. "Hmm...Now what to do." He said. Suddenly he saw something he liked more than anything. He ran up to her. "SLUR!!!" Starman shouted. Slur, who was drinking cybertea, spit it out in surprise when she heard her name. "Oh, great." She said. Starman ran up. "Are you free?" He said. "Yes, sadly." Slur replied. "Do you...wanna go out on a...date?" Starman asked. When I get back to the asteroid, Duo owes me big for looking over this place. She thought. "Fine." She said. Starman nearly fainted with pleasure. He grabbed Slur's arm. "Where to first, oh beautiful deadly one?" Starman said. I didn't know he could be so...flattering. Slur thought, blushing. "How about Castillo?" Slur said. Despite the fact that she was a mature adult, she couldn't hide her childhood excitement. She had always wanted to see a theme park. They didn't have any on the asteroid, and Duo didn't know the meaning of fun("What is this 'theme park' you speak of? Does it involve destruction of evil?" Duo had once said when she had asked him to build one.). Starman ran off with her. "TO CASTILLO!" He shouted happily. "WAIT! I never finished my tea!" Slur shouted. Within minutes they were at Castillo. Slur looked around in amazement. "So many things..." She said. She and Starman went on all kinds of rides, and Starman had even won a doll of a mettaur for her at a booth. They then went on the ferris wheel. When they got to the top, Slur and Starman gasped. "It's..beautiful." Slur said. Starman nodded. Slur noticed she was gripping Starman's hand, and she had no doubt that Starman knew as well. When did I find him so attractive? Slur thought. "Slur?" Starman said. ''Yeah?" Slur replied. "I..um...well..." Starman said, but never got his chance to finish, because an explosion had interupted the romance. Both of the navis looked down. They saw a huge mummy with an egyptian pharoah outift on and a headress. It's eyes were pure red with no pupils. "Leave no area unsearched, Anakaris." The navi's operator, Anubis, said. "Hurrr..." Anakaris replied. Starman jumped off of the ferris wheel. "You ruined my date! Now I'm gonna ruin your life!" Starman said. Slur jumped down after him. "Wait for me!" She said. Fuyuki came out of the bathroom. "Man, I needed that." He said. He went up to Starman's PET and saw everything from the viewscreen. "Trying to kill a DarkStalker without your partner?" He said to Starman. "Fuyuki!" Starman shouted. Then he looked at his outfit. "What are you wearing?" Fuyuki looked down at himself. He was wearing a blue hoody and black reversible shorts. "I'm just wearing these until Mom finishes washing my other clothes. Blame Netto." He said. Starman and Slur landed. Slur used her powers to create A.Laserman. "Attack." She commanded it. The navi complied. Anakaris was distracted by it. He unleashed his wrappings on it, sealing it. "MuraMasa, Battlechip in!" Fuyuki said. The katana appeared in Starman's hands. He ran at Anakaris and slashed him. "Hey big, bad, and crusty, over here!" Starman shouted. "Hurrr..." Anakaris said angrily. He created a blue pyramid around Starman, which proceeded to shock him. "Laserman, destroy that pyramid!" Slur commanded. A.Laserman moved his one remaining arm and blasted the pyramid surrounding Starman. "Thank, Slur." He said. Fuyuki used a Recover300 chip, and Starman was good as new. Slur ran up to Anakaris. "DarkSword!" She shouted, and slashed Anakaris. "Uh-oh, you're pissing off my navi." Anubis said, waving a finger. Anakaris created a huge spark, and aimed it at Slur. He fired it, but at the last second, Starman jumped in front of it. He survived, barely. "Starman!'' Slur said. "Heh...you used my name for the first time.'' Starman said. "Slur, don't worry about it. I'm getting some recovery chips right now." Fuyuki said. Slur nodded. She created dark energy in her hands. "So, you wanna hurt my boyfriend?" She said. She hurled the energy blasts at Anakaris. Starman got up, healed. "Slur, I hate this guy. He's ruining our date. Let's kill him." He said. Slur nodded. Starman loaded a Star Arrow, and Slur channeled her energy into it. "Asteroid Arrow!" Starman shouted, and blasted Anakaris with a arrow of darkness. It hit him head on, and nearly destroyed him. "Hurr..." He said weakly. He picked up a shining object he found-The Enigma Key-and threw it up. "Hurr..." He said. Anubis nodded. "We no longer need to be here." Both of the DarkStalkers vanished, with the Enigma Key in tow. Starman sighed. "There goes another DarkStalker." He said. Slur hugged him. "Starman, you RULE!" She said. Starman blushed. ''I can't believe I didn't see how awesome you were the first time I met you!" She said. Starman was blushing and grinning happily. Fuyuki laughed and left. I'll leave them to have fun. He thought.

Enzan was laying on the couch in the Hikari household, which was perfectly legal because they were letting him stay there while his father was still angry. "Stupid asshole.'' Enzan muttered. "He never cares about anything." "Is your dad really like that?" a voice said. Two eyes with red pupils appeared. Enzan freaked out. Fuyuki walked out of the darkness with his hands up. "Don't shoot!" He said. "Very funny." Enzan muttered, and threw a pillow at him. Fuyuki caught it one handed and threw it back on the couch in one fluid motion. "How can you be up this late?" Fuyuki said. "I just can't sleep. You?" Enzan replied. "I pull all nighters sometimes. It doesn't seem to affect me in the morning like other people." Fuyuki said. He laid down on a couch. "Thought I'd come out here. It's peaceful in this room." He said. Enzan nodded in agreement. "I'm bored." He said after awhile. "I know what'll get rid of that!" Fuyuki said, and got up off the couch. He started punching and kicking the air like a karate guy. "Um, what are you doing?" Enzan asked. "Everybody was kung-fu fighting!" Fuyuki sang out and kicked the air. Enzan smiled. "Those cats were fast as lightning." He replied. Fuyuki sat back down. They each took turns singing part of the classic song. Afterwards, both laughed silently, which surprised Enzan. He didn't laugh much. "Easy to do something entertaining when you're bored." Enzan said. Fuyuki nodded. "You know how Netto wears that headband?" He said. Enzan nodded. "I thought I might try that." Fuyuki said. "It might look good on you, considering that you two almost look exactly the same." Enzan said. Fuyuki got up. "I'm going back to my room. I got some nocturnal netbattlers to kill." He said. After Fuyuki was gone, Enzan laid down, grinning. Fuyuki is a pretty good friend. He thought.

It was 3:00 pm. Netto ran in the doorway. "HAHA! In your face, School! Thought you could keep me locked up all day, didja?'' He shouted triumphantly. "You seem happy." Fuyuki said, who was back in his normal clothes, with the edition of a black headband. "It just feels great to get out of hell." Netto said. Enzan walked in. "What's all the screaming?" He asked. "Netto's home." Fuyuki said, and looked to his PET. He was busy auctioning for a fragment of the Dream Virus. He wanted to make a battlechip able to summon the creature. "Greeeaaat." Enzan said. "Funny." Netto said as he sat down on the couch. "Shouldn't you be doing your homework?" Rock asked. "Got it done already. I knew all of the answers before we even got it." Netto responded. "Guilty." Fuyuki called, and raised his hand. "He''s never gonna learn anything this way." Rock sighed. Netto said "Um, how long is Enzan gonna be here?" "I think I'll stay here for 2 more days and then'll I'll leave. My father should be cooled off by then." Enzan replied. "I don't want to overstay my welcome." He said. "Too late." Netto muttered. Fuyuki punched him in the back of his head. "I don't say anything bad about your friends, so you don't say anything bad about mine." He said. ...He thinks of me as his friend? Enzan thought in surprise. "Fine, fine, just don't do that again." Netto said, rubbing his head. Fuyuki got up. "Make sure no one buys that Dream Virus part, Starman." He said before he left. Enzan got up and walked outside as well. "Blues...do you think Fuyuki really thinks of me as his...friend?" He asked. "I think so." Blues nodded. "Now I have two friends:You and Fuyuki." Enzan said. "What about Netto?" Blues asked. "Well, we're friends, just not as good of friends as you or Fuyuki." Enzan replied. Blues blushed slightly for a moment. "...Thanks." He said. Enzan nodded. He walked around Akihara, quietly for awhile, before asking "...Do you think I should return home?" Blues didn't know what his owner...no, friend, was saying. "What do you mean?" Blues asked. "I mean, just go home, grab my stuff, and leave. Live on my own." Enzan replied. Blues shook his head no. "I think it's a bad idea. Besides, I doubt that we would have to live alone. I bet the Hikaris wouldn't mind letting us stay with them for a few...um...years." Blues finished uncertainly, realizing the ridiculousness of the statement. "No, don't feel bad. You're probably right." Enzan said. He walked back into the Hikari household. Netto was still on the couch, watching TV. "Hi." He said. Fuyuki was back on his laptop. "We just won the auction.'' Starman said. "Transferring data." A small ping noise announced the data arrived. "YES!!!" Fuyuki shouted. "Everyone out! I need to work!" "But..." Netto started to say. "NOW." Fuyuki commanded. "Yes sir!" Netto said and grabbed his stuff. He and Enzan walked out of the room.

Next morning, Enzan walked into the kitchen where Haruka was waiting. "Enzan, I have some bad news." She said. Enzan raised his eyebrows. "I just got a phone call. Your dad...died last night." Enzan's cool demeanor slipped down the drain, his face a mix of shock and surprise. "Apparently a mob called the DarkStalkers killed him in a drive-by shooting. According to a witness, the last thing he said was your name." Enzan's heart nearly stopped. Haruka knew Enzan was suffering. She put a hand on his shoulder. "You're free to stay here as long as you need, honey." She said, and left the room. "Enzan..." Blues said. "Don't pity me. I hate it when people pity me.'' He said in between tears. Why am I crying? I hated him. Why should I care? He thought. He wiped his eyes and went into Fuyuki's room. "Fuyuki..." He said. "Netto and I heard." He said. "That sucks for you big-time." Enzan nodded. "That's not the worst part. It was the DarkStalkers." He said. Now Fuyuki was surprised. "They did it? Those bastards!" He said. Enzan responded "We'll get them when we get the chance. For now, I have a question. Your Mom said it would be okay if I stayed here as long as I need. Do you mind If I stay here until I can go on by myself with Blues?" Fuyuki nodded. "I don't mind, and I'm sure Rock doesn't. Netto might be a little skeptical at first, but he'll be fine."

The next week, funeral services were held for Enzan's father. All the Hikaris attended, even Yuiichiro. Enzan looked on and saw that his father would be buried on a hill in the center of the cemetary. With the sun setting, it really looked tragic. Everyone who was their all had a forlorn look. Afterwards, back at the Hikari household, everyone went back to bed. Enzan was in the living room. "I can't believe it." He said out loud. "I hated him in life, but now that he's dead, I care about him so much." He said. Enzan looked at his PET. Blues was asleep. "You can't sleep either?'' said a voice. Enzan turned on the couch to see Fuyuki. "Nope." Fuyuki sat down next to Enzan. "I know how you feel. I lost all of my family before." He said. Enzan looked at him oddly. "What do you mean by that?" "Back when I was half-navi...I was locked up in SciLab most of the time, and not anybody in my family could visit me. Even my father barely got a chance to." Fuyuki said. He looked up. "I put up with that for 9 years. Almost went insane." He got up. "Enzan...we'll do something about this." He said. Enzan clenched a fist. "Fuyuki...I guarentee you when the time comes, we will destroy the DarkStalkers. I promise you, those bastards will pay for what they did to me." Enzan said, his voice dripping with hatred.

Chapter 18:Living your worst nightmare.

A massive claw slammed onto the table, busting it in half. "Dammit! I will not put up with this any longer!" The voice said. The claw withdrew into the darkness. "...That is why you are to eliminate them." The voice said. The man who stood before the voice nodded. His body was cloaked, only his head visible. It was spiked and silver. The mans face looked young, as if only in his 20s. "Where Setsu, Mahko, and Anubis failed, I will succeed." He said. the man proceeded to leave the room. "Jikei." The voice called. The man, now known as Jikei, turned around. "Yes, master?" He asked. "Destroy that traitor, Ori, as well." The voice commanded. Jikei nodded. As he left the room, the owner of the voice turned around, nothing but his evil, red, eyes being able to be seen in the darkness. "Now, where did I put my coffee?" It wondered aloud.

After everyone was asleep, Jikei slipped into the houses. One by one, he placed wards on everyone's face. He stopped from house to house, doing so. After stopping at Meiru's house last and placing a ward on her, he looked towards Ori, who was sleeping peacefully on a kot. I'm sorry to do this, Ori. You always were my favorite, but you know what the master does to those who don't obey orders... Jikei thought, and placed the final ward on her. He nimbly jumped out the window, not making a sound. "They will never wake up from their nightmares." He said. He then logged his navi into a computer. "Now for their navis." Jikei muttered.

Fuyuki opened his eyes. "Funny, I wasn't dreaming a moment ago." He said aloud in his dream cloud. He got up. "Why do I have the feeling something bad will happen?'' He said. He looked around. He looked at himself. Then he saw it. His arm was changing. It was morphing back into it's half-navi form. "What the?!?" He shouted. The transformation in horror as it climbed up his arm, morphing him back to a half-navi. "Oh God no!" He shouted. The transformation was complete, and he felt his arm lifting up involuntarily. He tried in vain to put it down. The sword attachment appeared. He could feel his body walking against his will towards someone lying in the corner, sleeping. That person was Netto "NO!!!" He shouted, as his arm lifted up. The sword gleamed, then flew downwards.

Netto walked around in the darkness. "Anyone there?'' He shouted. He saw a figure walking towards him in the darkness. "I'm here, Netto." It said. The figure stepped into clearer view, turning out to be Rockman. "Rock! Where are we?" Netto asked. Rockman smiled an evil smile, and his eyes turned dark and evil as well. His armor turned a dark shade of black. He raised his gun and fired a blast into Netto's shoulder. It bled, and Netto shouted in pain. He looked up. "You're in hell." Rockman DS said, laughing evily. Another figure stepped out of the darkness. It was Fuyuki, but his eyes were killer's eyes, and he was covered in blood. He seemed even crazier than Rockman DS, as he laughed maniacally. He raised a hand to reveal he had a knife. "WELCOME TO YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE!!!" He shouted, before swinging the knife down.

Enzan was standing alone in the seemingly infinite darkness. "What's going on?" He thought. His father appeared right next to him. "Father?'' He said aloud. His father's eyes widened. "Get down!'' He shouted, and shoved Enzan aside, to the ground. A car drove by his father, and a man popped out the window with a gun, loading several bullets in his father. Enzan watched in terror as his father gasped "Enzan..." and fell to his knees. The man pulled out a flamethrower next, and let loose the fire. Enzan could only watch in terror as his father burst into flames, and disintegrated.

Yaito was running around. Looking for somebody. Anybody. "I better not be alone." She said. She saw someone lying down. It was Enzan. "This must be heaven!" She thought as she ran towards him. She gasped, however, when she got really close. One of his arms was missing, and he had knives and other assorted cutlery all jabbed in him. Bullets were buried deep in his leg, and a scalpel was lodged right above his left eye. He looked up, his face an expression of horrible pain. His whole body was bleeding. "Yaito...I don't want to be lonely..." He said. He reached out his one remaining arm and gripped her shoulder. "Come with me...to hell..." He said. Yaito watched in terror as a huge crack formed all around the areas they were standing on. A huge pit opened up, surrounding the one platform she and Enzan were on. She looked down in horror and saw demons, skeletons, Satan, and several other freakish creatures. She saw people hanging and lying around, being tortured. "To hell..." Enzan said, and stood up weakly. He grabbed Yaito with his one remaining arm, and pulled. He and Yaito fell into the fiery pits below.

Dekao looked all around. "Is this purgatory?" He asked. All of the sudden the darkness faded, revealing an interior to a house. He was in a room. His parents were there, arguing. He saw himself as a young kid and Chisao as a baby. "This is the day mom and dad got divorced!" He said. At that moment, the wall burst. Gutsman stood in the debris, but it wasn't the Gutsman Dekao knew. His eyes were dark and souless. "Gutsss....." He said, his voice sounding low and like a drone. He punched Dekao away. "Gutsman!" Dekao shouted. "Kill..." Gutsman responded, and started to destroy everything. He picked up Dekao's father and, to his horror, snapped him in half like a twig. Blood leaked everywhere. Gutsman punched Dekao's mother into pieces. He looked at the current Dekao, child Dekao, and baby Chisao. "You...next..." He said, and advanced towards them.

Meiru sat down. She had been walking for minutes, and nothing in site. She looked up to sigh, but quickly forgot all about that when she saw what was in front of her. Roll, Netto, Rock, Dekao, and all of her friends, family, and everyone she knew were all impaled on several spikes rising out of the ground. Blood flowed from their mouths and bodies. She looked around her and realized she was in Akihara, but it was night and the whole town was lit on fire. "What's going on...?'' She said, her voice quivering.

Tohru was desperately trying to find a way out of the darkness. He looked around but saw nothing. Than he shivered. "Did it get colder?" He said, and looked down towards his feet. To his horror, ice was surrounding them and completely coating his body. The ice was moving up his body, crystalizing him. He looked forward and saw Iceman was freezing him. "Iceman!" He shouted. Iceman smirked. "You sucked as an operator, and as a friend. You were useless. At least as an icicle you provide me with something:The pleasure of me getting to shatter you." He said. Tohru gasped in horror as the ice crawled over his head.

Ori looked around. "A dream?'' she wondered aloud. "Ori!" Someone shouted. She turned to see her friends running towards her. She waved. Ori started to run towards them, but stopped. A blade swept through the air and sliced them all up. Ori gasped. The fragments vanished. She followed the blades path, and realized it was a claw. It vanished into the darkness, and all she could see were red eyes. "You!!!" She shouted. "Ah yes, you recognize me, Ori. Are you ready to pay for betraying the DarkStalkers?'' The voice said. Ori shook her head. "You only stole my spirit in the real world! In my dreams, I have all of myself back!" She said, pulling out her talismans. She threw them, but the claw flew out and sliced the papers up. "I did more than steal your spirit." The voice said, and the crystal skin on Ori's arm spread. It kept spreading. "Urgh...You won't take me!" She said, and pulled out a sutra.

Rock woke up after he heard a noise. He looked around. His PET was the same, except for a green octopus-like creature made from slime was there. It looked just like a normal octopus, except there were only tentacles and an eyeball. "Who are you?" He asked. The creature used telepathy to speak in a dark voice. "I am a navi, just like you. My name is Shuma Gorath." Rock asked "Why are you here?" Shuma Gorath started to morph. "To haunt you forever." It said. It's new form was a gigantic ghost. It opened it's large mouth to swallow Rock, and advanced towards him. Rock screamed like a little girl.

Roll woke up to see Shuma Gorath looming over her. She screamed and backed away. "Who are you?!?'' She demanded. "Whatever you want.'' It said, and transformed into a huge spider with claws as legs. Roll hated spiders. She screamed and ran. The giant spider chased her.

Gutsman was practicing his punches on a Rockman dummy when Shuma Gorath appeared. "What do you want, guts?" He asked. "Your fear..." It responded. The navi turned into a giant version of Medi. She seemed very pissed. "TAKE YOUR MEDICINE!" She shouted, and brought a huge needle down on Gutsman.

Shuma Gorath appeared in Glyde's PET when he was cleaning. "May I help you?" He asked. Shuma Gorath shook his eyeball no, and tranformed Gospel. "Oh...'' Glyde said in fear.

Iceman was sleeping when Shuma Gorath appeared. It picked Iceman up with a tentacle and shook him. Iceman woke up. "Yeah?" He asked. Shuma Gorath turned into Gutsman. Iceman yelped. "Ahh! Gutsman! Don't hurt me!" He said, before a fist collided with his face.

Starman was expecting Shuma Gorath. "Here to turn into my worst fear?" He asked. Shuma Gorath nodded before a meteorite crushed him. Shuma, in slime form, crawled on top of the meteor. "Crude attack." it commented. It transformed into what appeared to be a fusion of Laserman and Shademan. Starman gasped as it dashed towards him.

Hsienko was meditating when Shuma Gorath appeared. "Shuma Gorath." She said. "It is good to see you, Lei-Lei." I said. "No calling me by that pet name." She said, and got up. Shuma Gorath nodded. "Alright, Hsienko." It said before it transformed into an exorcist. Hsienko narrowed her eyes. "Resorting to that, are we?'' She said. Shuma Gorath transformed back. "How are you able to conquer my spell?" It asked. "Your 'spell' is more of a battle of wills. If the will is not great enough, Then the person's worst fear will be portrayed. However, if the will is great enough, It can see through it." Hsienko explained. "Ori! Rip the talisman off!" She shouted. Shuma Gorath watched in horror as Ori's hand lifted and ripped the ward off. She woke up. "Tell Jikei to meet us in the streets within 10 minutes." Ori ordered. Shuma Gorath nodded, and left Hsienko's PET.

Author Notes:Oh man, this was a gory chapter. Jikei is my own character and Shuma Gorath is property of Marvel. That's right, he's not a real DarkStalker. Each character's worst nightmare was something I made up as well. And yes, Mahko is the name of the mechanical kid who operates Huitziln. Oh, and by the way, the japanese word for bloodcurdling is jikei. Yep, that means Jikei's name is actually a word.

Chapter 19:New Cross Fusion.

Ori traveled to everyone's house, ripping off the wards and explaining everything. She, as well as everyone else, went out in the streets. Jikei appeared as well. His body was cloaked just as Ori remembered:In his designer cloak, the black and violet one. "Ori." He said. Ori nodded. "Jikei. I will punish you." She said. Jikei swished his cloak aside to reveal a navi-like body. "You forget, I outmatch you. I am half-navi." He said. Fuyuki gasped. Another one? Jikei noticed Fuyuki's surprise. "I see you too have been a half-navi before. Then you know how much more power I have over Ori." He said. Fuyuki nodded. "You're right." Jikei raised his arms and summoned a huge field of darkness around them. The whole sky above Akihara was twisting with dark energy. Shuma Gorath appeared right beside Jikei. "You forget it helps me as well." Ori said, as Hsienko appeared by her side. They went to battle, Hsienko fighting Shuma Gorath and Jikei fighting Ori. Jikei was using darkness to attack and Ori was countering with all of her talismans and sutras. About a half-hour later, Hsienko had a wriggling Shuma Gorath impaled on her claw. Jikei straigtened himself, and Shuma Gorath flung himself off of Hsienko's claw. He landed right on Jikei, assuming his form and shape. The result was Jikei, but completely green and with an eye on his chest, as well as tentacles lashing out in every direction. Ori laughed. "I'll show you a proper fusion.'' She placed a chip in her PET. "Hsienko, Cross Fusion!" She shouted, and everyone gasped. The result of this was Ori in Hsienko's clothes with pale skin and Hsienko's claws. The two crossfused netops lashed out at each other crazily, the battle waging on. "This is amazing!" Enzan exclaimed. "You can tell it is hearing that from you." Netto said. "Cross Fusion, huh?" Fuyuki wondered. Eventually Jikei wore down. Shuma Gorath flew off of him. "You win." Jikei said. Shuma Gorath held out a tentacle, an object shining in it's tentacle. Cross fused Ori's eyes widened. "...When did you steal that?" She asked. "During the battle. I regret to inform you that once we unlock Enigma, we will be releasing him into the real worl to reak havoc, chaos, destruction, and over all make your world a living hell. Have a nice day." Jikei said, and vanished. Hsienko flew off of Ori and went back into her PET. The darkness disappeared. "He stole it..." Ori said. It started to rain. Everyone went inside except for Fuyuki. He stayed out. "Fuyuki?" Netto called. "I need to think. I'll come in after awhile." He said. Netto nodded. Before he went in, he ran up to Fuyuki and grasped him around the chest. "Netto..." Fuyuki said. "When we had those nightmares...because of what Jikei did, I dreamed you and Rock were trying to kill me." Fuyuki returned his brother's hug. "Netto...My nightmare was that I killed you." He hugged his brother tighter. "But I swear, None of that will ever happen. I'll never let anything happen to you and Rock." Netto looked up at his brother's face. "Promise?" He asked. The 15 year old smiled and hugged his brother even harder. "I promise." He said. Netto let go of him. "You should go get some sleep." Fuyuki said. Netto nodded, and went back in. Jikei...I went through the same thing as you did... Fuyuki thought. He stayed out, in the rain for awhile, thinking.

Chapter 20:Raid Altearith!

Fuyuki ran up the hill. "Dammit, I'M LATE!!!" He said. He met up with everyone else. "Don't...say...anything..." He said. "...Well, let's continue." Ori said. Everyone entered the metroline to Kotobuki. They met up with Shuryou. "Why are you here?" Netto asked. "I wanna fight the DarkStalkers too!" He said. Fuyuki nodded. "Forte could help us out big time." He said. Ori lead everyone into the building previously used by Gospel. In the main room, she pointed to a ladder. "Climb that." She said. Everyone did. When they reachde the top, they all gasped. The island DarkStalkers' base was on was floating in the air. "How is it doing that?" Enzan asked. "Anti-gravity pads. The master layered so many on the underside that it floats high in the sky." Ori said. "He calls this island Altearith." "So...how do we get up there?" Fuyuki asked. Ori stepped towards the end of the building. She pulled out a small tablet with the DarkStalker crest on it. "FORYUSEN!" Ori shouted, and a bridge that was rainbow appeared. It was completely transparent. "Let's go." She said. Everyone followed her up the bridge. When they reached the island, they found it was nothing more than a desert with a huge lake in the middle. There was a lone island in the lake, and the DarkStalker base resided on the island. They used a boat to travel to the base. Setsu was waiting at the door. "Ori." He said. "Here to stop us, Setsu?'' Ori asked. Setsu shook his head no. "Merely to deliver a message. The master says you are too late. Enigma is awake. He is planning to create living hell." He said. Setsu walked into the building. "Let's hurry." Enzan said. The group walked in. Ori stopped them. "The security system is in effect. There are 10 seperate generators that we need to shut down at the same time." Luckily, there were 10 people there, so they decided that each person takes a generator. Everyone plugged in. The path was pretty straight-forward. All navis reached the generators at the same time. However, a different DarkStalker was guarding each area. The navis went to battle.

Chapter 21:Blues versus Anakaris, and Starman versus Bishamon!

Blues readied a sword arm. "Your group killed my best friends father! DIE!" He shouted before launching himself at the pharoah. "It is no use. Anakaris and I have been training." Anubis said. Anakaris launched his wrappings around Blues, pinning him down. Anakaris jumped and launched a blue stream of fire. Blues cut the wrappings. "BetaSword!" Enzan shouted. Blues felt the blade appear in his hands and tried to attack Anakaris. He slashed the pharoah's chest, and scorpions poured out of the wound. "Hurr Hurr Hurr..." Anakaris laughed as scorpions covered Blues. ''Get your grubby pincers off me!!!" Blues shouted and used ElecCircle. He used Delta Ray Edge on Anakaris. More wounds, more scorpions. Anakaris created a huge blue pyramid around Blues, and it shocked him. "Here goes nothing..." Enzan said. "Blues! Dark Style!" He said. Blues nodded, and transformed into Dark Blues. "Blues...?" Enzan asked. "Don't worry, Enzan-sama. I have it under control." Dark Blues said. He ran at Anakaris, cutting another pyramid in half. Blues used a dark sword on Anakaris. No scorpions this time, but purple blood. Anakaris screamed a bloodcurdling scream, raising dead creatures. They flung themselves at Dark Blues, who easily cut them up. Anakaris pressed the ground, and sand flew up all around Blues, forming a tomb of sand around him. "Hurr..." Anakaris said. The tomb was slashed to pieces and Dark Blues laughed. "Enzan, give me one of those new chips." Enzan nodded. Fuyuki, this better work! He thought. "DreamVirus, Chip in!" He shouted. The DreamVirus appeared and sent a huge swarm of meteors again Anakaris. Dark Blues used a Cannon. Anakaris flicked it away, and launched a curse on DarkBlues. It sapped his energy, But Dark Blues managed to get a few slashes in and destroy Anakaris. "Heh, easy." He said, and transformed back to regular Blues.

"Who are you?'' Fuyuki asked the young boy who appeared. He looked about 2 years older than Netto. He was dressed in a tunic and fighting pants. He had a katana strapped to his side. His hair was blue and spiky. "Takuya Uchila." The boy said. He pulled out his katana and tried to slash Fuyuki, but Fuyuki easily blocked it with two fingers. "Save it. I was half-navi." He said. Takuya nodded and sheathed his sword. "Understood. Our navis will fight." He said. Starman looked at the navi in front of him. He was a monk, wearing monk robes and a hat. He had a staff and rosary. "I am Oboro Bishamon." The navi said. "I can see this is not your true form. Show me all your power." Starman said. Oboro nodded, and summoned dark energy. A samurai helmet appeared on his head. Samurai armor with a face on it as well appeared on his chest. Samurai gear replaced all of his monk robes, and a katana with a tragic aura replaced his staff. "Now I'm just Bishamon!" The navi said. Bishamon ran at Starman. He slashed with his katana, burning the air around him. Starman evaded, but Bishamon teleported in back of him and did another slash. Starman shouted. "Damn!" He said. He turned around and shot Star Arrows on Bishamon. The armor ate them and laughed at Starman. "Don't laugh you son of a bitch!" He said before striking Bishamon with his sword. Bishamon laughed and shot a huge stream of fire out at Starman. "That's it." Starman grumbled. He smashed Bishamon with a meteor.

"HeeHee! What a slutty girl you are!" The woman said to Meiru. "I'M NOT SLUTTY!" Meiru said. "Who are you, anyways?'' The girl was dressed in a black skirt and white pants. She had emerald earings on and a ponytail. "Call me Midoko, sweetie." The girl said. She winked. "It's a shame I have to destroy your cute navi." She said. Roll looked at Morrigan. She was powerful. She created a dark hole in the ground, and demons flew out and latched on to her. "MORRIGAN! CAN WE EAT HER?" The demons asked. "You may eat the carcass." Morrigan said, and pulled out a really big gun. "Hold her still." She said. "Get...OFF!!!" Roll shouted, and launched an arrow through all demons, impailing them. "Alright, you bitch! Let's fight!" She said. Morrigan shot at Roll with the gun, but missed. She kept shooting, but she missed horribly as Roll kept pelting her with arrows and attacking her with her hair...noodles. Morrigan eventually tossed the gun and slapped Roll across the face. "Stop it you little girl!" Morrigan said. Roll slapped her back. "Shut up you whore!" She said. Morrigan slapped her a second time. "Brat!" She said. Roll slapped her again. "Freak!" Roll said. "BITCH FIGHT!" Both female navis said, and started to slap each other repeatedly. "Rockman! Battlechip, in!" Meiru said. Rock appeared and blasted Morrigan into oblivion. Meiru slapped Midoko. "You stay down!" She said.

Tohru looked at the pale figure before him. The figure swished his cape away to reveal ancient armor and leather pants. He had gloves on. His long, silver hair went to down his waist. "I am Magus." He said, and a scythe appeared in his hands. He placed the blade against Tohru's neck. "If you can fight my navi and win, you live. If not, you won't have to worry about what you eat for dinner next." Magus said. Tohru nodded. Iceman looked at the towering being before him. It had a tall, black, muscular frame and a huge tail. His head seemed to have needles coming out of the end, forming spiky hair reaching down to his back. The eyes were pure red. "Ulp." Iceman said. The navi wasted no time speaking, and immidiatly launched a spray of acid on Iceman. Iceman froze it and launched a glacier at the being. BlackHeart's chest glowed, and opened. Several demonic griffins flew out at Iceman, scratching him. "CyberSword, in!" Tohru said, and Iceman slashed at BlackHeart. Several demons flew out of the wound. They caught Iceman by surprise. Iceman was wounded bad, and Blackheart formed a huge pentacle around Iceman. A demonic blast fired up from the ground, nearly killing Iceman. "I have one last plan, Iceman. I found this chip on the ground awhile ago. Aries, battlechip, in!" Tohru said. Iceman got up and created several icicle spears. They all speared BlackHeart, hurting it immensly. BlackHeart could only watch as Iceman froze him alive. Magus nodded. "I see. You are skilled. I'll let you live." He said, and vanished.

Gutsman checked out the huge mechanical navi. "Huitziln, huh? You're going down, de gutsu!" He said, and started fist-fighting. Gutsman launched a GoldFist against him, and missed. "Let's finish this quickly. Aries, battlechip, in.'' Mahko said, and all of the guns popped out of Huitziln. "Wow." Dekao said. Gutsman ran up and snapped a few guns off, but Huitziln blasted him heavily. "Ouch..." Gutsman said. He launched Z-Punched. It nearly tore Huitziln apart. "Gutsman and I heard about your navi. He's nearly impossible to touch, but his defense is really crappy." Dekao said. Mahko smirked, his mechanical eye turning green. "Huitziln, self-destruct!" He said, and Huitziln complied. The explosion nearly destroyed Gutsman, but he lived. "Ha, I ain't no wimp." Gutsman said. Mahko nodded. "I see. Proceed on with what you were doing.'' He said, and walked away.

Ori looked at Firaga. "Firaga. I haven't seen you since I left." Firaga laughed. "This is gonna be a HOT battle!" He said. Hsienko looked at Pyron. Pyron was a navi made from pure fire, in the shape of a humanoid. "Fortunately, I know your weakness." Hsienko said. Pyron raised an eyebrow. He sent a wave of fire at Hsienko. She lept through the flames. They burned, but she didn't care. Since physical attacks would not work on pure flame, she would try a different approach. "Aquaman, Battlechip, in!" Ori said, and Aquaman appeared right next to Hsienko. He launched a jet of water at Pyron, obiterating him. Firaga laughed. "I remember when you first joined, you had no clue how to fight Pyron. Well done, Ori!" He said, and moved aside.

Chapter 23:After the battle:Lauren arrives!
Everyone else took out their DarkStalkers. However, their was one independent DarkStalker named Nests. Everyone was worn out, so Nests took them all out so fast no one could see how he looked. "We're screwed." Enzan said. Setsu nodded. He pulled a wierd bottle thing off his back and aimed it at the server. "Guess I'll destroy him." Setsu said. "WAIT!" Someone called. Everyone turned to see Lauren. "I'll take him!" She said, and before anyone could say anything, she plugged Trill in. Trill saw the flash coming towards her and blocked the attack. The navi came into view. He was an old man with battle armor on. He had a grey cape and a huge sword, which Trill was blocking with her wrist. "Hiyah!" Trill said. Nests said nothing and struck again. Trill recieved a slash on the face. Trill pulled out a spear. "Battle!" She shouted and started fighting against Nests. After awhile, Nests got worn out, and was panting. Trill was as well. "I won't give up." She said, and jumped. She grasped her spear and formed her body so it looked like a dragon. "Serpent Dragon Dive!" Trill shouted and plunged. She stabbed Nests, deleting him. Trill logged out. Lauren swung her pet around. "I'm gonna help you guys!" She said. Everyone nodded. Anubis pointed. "That door leads to our master." He said. "Wait, why are you helping us?" Netto asked. "The master was controlling us by our navis." Setsu said. "He corrupted our navis and included a program in them that would hypnotize us." Jikei stepped in. "When you fought our navis, you didn't delete them, but restored them." He looked at Ori. "She was the only one capable of resisting the master's control." He said. Takuya nodded. "The master is the only truly evil one." He said. Everyone proceeded. The room was completely dark. ''So, you've come..." A voice said. Everyone looked. The owner of the voice stepped out.

Chapter 24:Kotetsu
Everyone gasped. The leader of the DarkStalkers was, as Ori had said earlier, not even human. He appeared to be a young 13 year-old boy. One half of him was human, wearing a blue hoody, grey pants, and black tennis shoes. He had grey hair, and pure red eyes with no pupils. He had a paper attached to the human side. The other side of him was all rock and scary, exactly like Ori's cursed skin. His mouth was that of a tiger, and he had a long, huge, scything claw. Spikes covered this monster half, and the eye was pure black. "I am Entranco Kotetsu." He said in a dark, mutant, voice. He held up his claw arm. Darkness formed around everywhere. Kotetsu's navi appeared next to him. He was wearing a black designer suit, and had pale skin. He had huge wings. "Jedah, destroy them." He said. Jedah's wings became a scythe. He ran at the group, and then Blues appeared. "I'll handle this." Enzan said. He and Blues Cross Fused. "Go on ahead!" He shouted, and battled with Jedah. The group followed them. They saw Tailbane, the wolf navi destroyed earlier. Roll appeared, and she and Meiru Cross Fused. "GO!" She said. They chased them dow even further, and three Sasquatches appeared. Iceman, Hsienko, and Gutsman appeared and Cross Fused with their netops to hold off the beasts. Lauren and Trill Cross Fused. "I'm gonna help Enzan!" She said, and ran back. In the next room, a blue navi appeared. "I am Yamahasi!" He said. He looked almost like a bird, and wore a green mask in the shape of a scream. Glyde and Forte appeared, Cross Fusing with their netops. The DarkStalkers also Cross Fused. ''Go!" They shouted. Fuyuki and Netto chased. The finally cornered Kotetsu in the last room. "LEAVE ME ALONE!'' He said. "I WILL DARKEN THIS WORLD!" He said. "What is with you? Creatures need light to live. You'll kill yourself!" Netto said. Kotetsu laughed. "Fools...I am already dead!" He shouted, and ripped his human skin. Fuyuki and Netto gasped in disgust. Kotetsu's real skin was green and rotting. It was slipping off, and some of his bones were showing. His face had skin rotting off, and the skull bled. "I've been dead for fifty years!" He said, and put his fake skin on. "So I suppose you're going to tell us how you died and why you are doing your evilness?" Fuyuki asked. Kotetsu raised an eyebrow. "What do you think this is, manga?'' He asked. Fuyuki shook his head no. "I just think anybody who actually read this far in the fanfiction will want to know why you are a crazy zombie." He said. "...What?" Netto asked. "Nevermind." Fuyuki replied. Kotetsu nodded. ''Fine, no matter how cliche it is, you will learn my past."

Kotetsu turned his back to the two heroes. "I died from radiation. That explains my mutant body." He said. "However, before my soul passed away I placed this on myself." He said, pointing to the talisman. "It keeps me alive. If I purge the Earth into darkness, I will kill everything on Earth. Before they die, talismans will be placed on them and make them like me. They will experience what I went through." He said. "Poor baby." Fuyuki said. "You're such a crybaby." Kotetsu smashed his claw against the wall. "Enigma!" He said. A huge, orange, armored, winged navi appeared. "Cross Fusion!" He said. He and Enigma fused. The results were not pretty. The new creature roared. Starman and Rockman appeared and Cross Fused with Netto and Fuyuki. Both of the brothers looked at eachother. "Right." They said, and unlocked a new technique:Mega Fusion. Both Cross Fused netops fused. ''What...is this?" Enigma Kotetsu said. The new being, a fusion of Fuyuki, Netto, Rockman, and Starman stepped out of the light. "I am Neyuko. But you may refer to me as your killer." The new teen said, in a voice consisting off all 4 people. He jumped at Enigma Kotetsu and gripped his neck. "It begins." Neyuko said. "Everyone who you hurt...Their will is what powers me." Neyuko's grip hardened.

Chapter 25:Neyuko:Warrior of Wills
Neyuko threw E.Kotetsu across the room. He got up and his arm turned into a cannon. E.Kotetsu launched a red beam at Neyuko. Neyuko's Rockbuster easily countered it. "This one's for Ijuinn!" He said, and used Star Arrow. It hit E. Kotetsu and hurt him badly. E.Kotetsu shouted "DuoFist!" And his fist formed into a very large fist like Duo's. He punched Neyuko across the face. "Not so confident now, are we?" E.Kotetsu smirked. Neyuko looked back at him, grinning. "Actually, you knocked a tooth that's been loose for weeks out. Thanks!" He said. He grabbed the fist, and ripped it off. E.Kotetsu channeled his dark energy and created a dark explosion. Neyuko lyed in corner from the blast, entangled in wires. He got up. "I'll admit, you are strong." He said. Then he opened his hand. "Saito Blast!" He shouted, and launched a very powerful blast at E.Kotetsu, hitting him in the chest. Neyuko walked up to him. "This one's for Ori!" He said, and smashed him with a meteor. E.Kotetsu lifted it, to see Neyuko with a cybersword. "This one's for Enzan!" He said, and slashed him across the chest. Neyuko kept pounding relentlessly on E.Kotetsu, and E.Kotetsu kept attacking in vain. Neyuko grabbed E.Kotetsu and picked him up. "You think it's so bad what you have?" He said, and punched him across the face. "Maybe if you had just keeled over and died, I wouldn't have to pound your ass. But no. You had to be reborn." Neyuko aimed his Rockbuster at the E.Kotetsu's forehead. He blasted. It split Kotetsu and Enigma up. Enigma was in pieces. "How...How did you..." Kotetsu asked. "If I wasn't in this form, Enigma would probably put me through lots of hell. But in this form, he was weak." Neyuko asked. Kotetsu leapt at Neyuko. "I CAN STILL FIGHT! He screamed. Neyuko easily fought him off with one finger. Kotetsu was panting hard. "I...will...destroy you..." Neyuko walked up to Kotetsu. He punched him. "You're annoying." He said. Then he lightly fingered Kotetsu's talisman. "You need this to live?'' He asked. Kotetsu nodded. "If you're going to kill me, hurry it up.'' He said. Neyuko placed his hand on Kotetsu's forehead. "I can see into your mind..." He said. He learned that Kotetsu's parents hated him, and they shoved into a radioactive reactor until he died, and they killed themselves afterwards. Unknown to them, Kotetsu put a talisman on at the last second in a deasperate attempt to save himself. It worked, but he was horribly mutated. The young boy thought all humans were responsible for his death. So he set out to get revenge. Neyuko nodded. "I see. You weren't always evil." He said. Kotetsu glared. "What are you saying?" He asked. "If you hadn't been so evil, we could've been friends." He said. "I'm going to send you on now. Hopefully, you'll go someplace not so bad." Neyuko said, and ripped Kotetsu's talisman off. Kotetsu's eyes shut. "I still...hate all...humans..." He said, as he fell. Neyuko stood up. He aimed his Rockbuster at Kotetsu's lifeless body. "If your soul is gone, than you won't be needing this." He said and blasted the body. Kotetsu's body disintegrated. Neyuko walked out, flipping the self-destruct switch along the way.

Yamahasi suddenly weakened. "Augh!" He screamed, and shut down. Cross Fusion Ra looked forward. "I don't sense Kotetsu anymore." He said. Cross Fusion Glyde asked "Really?" Cross Fusion Forte nodded. There is a really powerful presence coming this way. It feels like a fusion of Netto, Fuyuki, Rockman, and Starman." C.F.Forte replied. Everyone disabled the Cross Fusions. Setsu looked ahead and saw a figure step out. "...And who might you be?" Setsu. "Neyuko." He said. "I see. You're a mega Cross Fusion of Netto, Fuyuki, Starman, and Rockman." Forte said. "C'mon, let's go. This place is gonna blow soon." He said and grabbed everyone in the room. He dragged thme all out. Everyone left the base and was on the top of the Kotobuki building when the island exploded. On the ground, everyone walked back home. Neyuko was explaining what happened. "So...he died with hatred in his heart?'' Ori asked, her spirit now back and her curse lifted. Neyuko nodded. "His last words were 'I still hate all humans.' I doubt he's happy, wherever he is now." He said. Setsu, now with his emotions back asked "How long does that fusion last?'' Neyuko glowed. A bright light appeared, and when it was gone, Fuyuki and Netto stood where Neyuko was. "I think it just ended." Fuyuki said. Setsu grabbed Ori and lifted her off the ground. He hugged her. "I missed you so much." He said. Ori laughed. "I can't believe they are brothers and sisters." Shuryou said. Enzan nodded. Mahko looked up. "It seems I'm gonna be partly mechanical forever." He sighed. Netto said "Is it really that bad?" Mahko delivered a back hand slap to Netto's head using his mechanical hand. ''No, not really." He laughed, and everyone but Netto did as well. Anubis looked to the west. "I might as well head back to Egypt." He said. "Um...Where are Starman and Rock?" Meiru asked. "In their PETs." Netto and Fuyuki said at the same time. She nodded. Everyone said goodbye at the metroline. On the train, Fuyuki stared out the window. Kotetsu...If it weren't for his parents, he wouldn't have been so evil. He thought. Netto tapped Fuyuki's shoulder. Fuyuki turned around and got a crowbar smacked in his face. "That's for throwing the bed at me for the shower incident." He said. Fuyuki laughed. "Come 'er, you." He said and gave Netto a really hard noogie. Netto, Rock, and Fuyuki laughed. Meiru watched from her seat and smiled to herself. It's good to see that they're so happy. She thought.

Chapter 26:Netto, Rock, and Fuyuki

The teens returned home. Netto flopped down on his bed. "What a hellish month." He said. "Hey, Rock?'' He asked. "Yeah?" "When we were with Kotetsu in his last moments...when we were Neyuko...do you think we should have spared him?" Rock looked unsure. "I think if he were given a second chance...and some proof that not all humans hate him...He might've repented for his sins, but there was another force with us that wanted him to be gone.'' Rock said. "I think it was Fuyuki." Netto said "It could've been." "It was." Fuyuki said. He sat down on Netto's bed. "I wanted him to die for all the crap he put us through. I mean, he nearly got you and Rock killed, and he made me that violent killer." He said. Netto nodded. He still remembered Fuyuki on the night he and Rock got kidnapped, how he had brutally beat up that man and cut off his hand with a meat cleaver. How he looked insane and like he craved a bloodlust. Fuyuki hugged Netto tightly. "I'm sorry I scared you so much that day." He said. Netto hugged his brother back. "It's fine...you were just worried about me and Rock. It shows that you care enough to even kill someone." Netto replied. Fuyuki said "You and Rock are just the best brothers ever. I didn't want to lose you.'' He said. Fuyuki got up. "I'm gonna go visit Enzan. We're gonna be holding a netbattling competition." He said. "Oh yeah, I found this chip in the DarkStalker base. It doesn't work on Starman, so I figured you could use it." He said, and tossed it to Netto. The chip displayed a picture of a navi's inner power unlocked. "It's a chip called Aries. I think Mahko and Tohru have one as well." Fuyuki said. Then he held up a chip. "This is one just as powerful, called Zodiac. Let's test them out some time." He said, smiling. Before he left Netto said "Hey, Fuyuki?" Fuyuki turned. "Yeah?" "Rock and I decided that, in order to celebrate, we're going to the beach to have a party. Everyone's coming, even Enzan. You wanna come?" Netto asked. Fuyuki smiled. "Of course!" He said, and left. "I'm glad he's our brother." Rock said. Netto nodded. "Yeah."

Chapter 27:The Beach and the Glass Statues.

Everyone arrived on time. They all found a spot that worked perfectly. Everyone but Enzan and Fuyuki were in the water. "Why don't you guys come in? the water's fine!" Netto shouted. Fuyuki, who was wearing black shorts and a white T-shirt, shook his head no. "I get hypothermia easily." He shouted back. "And I don't like the ocean." Enzan said. Enzan was wearing a tropical shirt and a bathing suit. Both of the two boys who weren't in the water sat in the cabana, watching their friends. "Maybe we should join them. I mean, it looks like that game of dodgeball they're having is fun." Fuyuki said. "Nah. If we went in, we'd kick their asses." Enzan said. Fuyuki looked down at a sand sculpture he was working on. It was of Starman. The bottom half looked nothing like Starman, but from the waist up it was perfect. "I just can't get these legs to come out right." He said. Enzan was also working on one. The top half looked like a blob, but from the waist down it was perfect. "I can't get anything but the legs perfect." He said. Both of them looked at eachothers sculptures. "You thinking what I'm thinking?" Enzan asked. Fuyuki nodded. Both ran off towards a conviently placed flamethrower shop. "Let us make haste!" Enzan said. "And glass!" Fuyuki shouted. "That too.'' Enzan said, nodding.

The dodgeball smacked Dekao in the right side of the head. "Out!" Meiru called. "Man, it's too hard in the water." Dekao complained. "Quit being a sissy." Tohru replied. "Hey, Fuyuki and Enzan have been real quiet." Netto said. Everyone looked in their direction. "I think that has something to do with it.'' Yaito said. Everyone gasped. There was a huge, life-like statue of the DreamVirus made from glass right next to the two boys. They each were sitting in chairs. Enzan held a bucket that was filling with money, and a flamethrower laid right next to his chair. Inside the cabana were even more buckets of money. Fuyuki had a clipboard and a megaphone. He was shouting out into it "GET YOUR LIFE SIZED NAVI SCULPTURES! YOU SHOW US THE NAVI AND WE MAKE IT! NO REFUNDS!" There was a line stretching so far down the beach that nobody could see the end. "That's a long line." Lauren said, whistling. Somebody said something to Fuyuki. Fuyuki wrote down something on the clipboard, and said something to Enzan. Enzan nodded and started to build the legs of a navi. "WE HAVE ROOM FOR 10 MORE!" Fuyuki said, and the people cheered. Enzan finished with the legs and Fuyuki worked on the top while Enzan took more orders. Everyone watched in awe as Fuyuki finished a huge sculpture of Airman. Enzan grabbed the flamethrower and torched the statue, making it glass. They then hoisted the huge sculpture onto one of those things with wheels and gave it to the man who had ordered it. "WE WON'T BE ACCEPTING ANY MORE ORDERS FOR 10 MINUTES!" Enzan shouted. The line broke up, the people going about their business until 10 minutes passed. Enzan was busy working on the legs of something while Fuyuki tallied up the money. "Fuyuki!" Fuyuki turned around and saw his friends running towards him. "Oh, hey guys. What's up?'' He asked. "Um...how the hell are you guys making so much money?" Netto asked. "Well, Enzan figured out he could sculpt anything from the waist down perfectly, and I can sculpt anything from the waist up perfectly. We just turn the sculptures we make into glass and we get instant money." Fuyuki replied. He then pulled out some life-size statues of Rock, Glyde, Gutsman, Roll, Iceman, and Forte out from behind the caraban. "We made yours for free." He said, giing everyone their statues. No one knew what to say. The statues were beautiful and life-like, looking as though they could attack at any minute. Everyone saw smaller virus statues hanging from the roof of the caraban, obviously to advertise. Shuryou was looking at the DreamVirus statue. "How long did this one take?" He asked. "20 minutes." Enzan replied. He switched places with Fuyuki, finishing up the statue. "These are nice and all, but where should we put them?" Netto asked. Enzan opened the bag with everyone's PETs in them. "We tested the glass, and it's very strong. It won't break easily." He explained, noticing everyone's surprise. They all put the sculptures in the bag. Everyone except for Enzan and Fuyuki ran back to the water, where they resumed their game of dodgeball. "Good to see they're happy." Fuyuki commented. "How many more minutes left?'' Enzan asked. "6." Fuyuki replied. "Good, we only need to do three more. That will take us about 6 minutes." Enzan said. They had already finished sculptures of Quickman, Aquaman, and Shadowman. Time to get to work.

After the game of dodgeball, Everyone decided to just do seperate things. Dekao went to the snack bar, Tohru stayed out in the ocean, looking for shells, Meiru and Yaito went shopping in the souviner shop, Shuryou went to go buy a flamethrower to start up a rivaling glass sculpture stand, and Netto went for a walk. "I don't think Shuryou's gonna get far." He said to himself. As he was walking, he noticed how, for the first time in awhile, he didn't have to worry about anything crazy and bad happening. The DarkStalkers are gone, there is peace in the world, annd we can just enjoy ourselves. I wish it would always be like this. He thought, skipping a stone. As he was walking, He found a small area of the beach where nobody else was due mainly to the fact that no one had ever walked this far. He decided to stay here for awhile. "The DarkStalkers really weren't evil, just Kotetsu." Netto said aloud. He picked up another stone and skipped it. 5 bounces. "I wonder if there will be anymore evil groups for us to stop. I'm getting tired of it." He said. Netto laid down on the sand. The grains felt smooth and relaxing against his back. Just one thing left to figure out. He thought. I know Fuyuki still has his strengths from being a navi, but what about that rage? Maybe being a navi somehow affected that, as well? Netto sighed. "I'm just worrying myself over nothing. I'll ask Dad about it later." He thought. Netto sat up. He looked down on himself, and for the first time, realized how pale he was. "I really need a tan." He said, and laid down again. He closed his eyes and let the sound of the ocean relax him. "I'll only be here for a short while." He reminded himself.

"DAMMIT! I can't keep up with them!" Shuryou said angrily. Fuyuki and Enzan were getting customers like it was the end of the fricken world, and Shuryou only got enough business to get $10.00. He could make sculptures almost as good them, but they were somewhat flimsy and a little deformed. Most of his customers just bought them because they looked comical, or because the felt sorry for Shuryou because he obviously sucked at what he was doing. "I won't give up! If I have faith, I can do this!" He said. Than he looked at his statue of Forte. The cloak was all wrong, and Forte's helmet looked square. "Than again, I could use some help..." He sighed.

Yaito and Meiru were walking down the beach, looking for shells. "This one looks nice." Meiru said, picking up a conch shell with spikes potruding from it. "It's pretty." Yaito said. They put the shell in the bucket they were carring with the rest of the shells. "Hey Yaito?" Meiru asked. "Yeah?" "Do you have a crush on anyone?" Yaito turned red. "Um..." She stammered. "I promise I won't tell anyone." Meiru said. "Well...I have a crush on Enzan..." She said. "What about you?" "Promise you won't tell him?'' Meiru asked. "If you keep your promise." Yaito replied. "Okay, I have a crush on Netto." She said. Yaito nodded. "I figured. You two are flirtatious at times." She said. "Haha. Funny." Meiru said. "I'm being serious." Yaito said with a straight face, picking up a clam and putting it in the bucket. "Fine. Just remember. We tell no one!" Meiru reminded her. "My lips are sealed." Yaito said.

"C'mon, steady..." Tohru said. The water was up to his chest, but when he ducked down, as he was doing now, it was up to his neck. He had a hand out in front of him. He shot it forward. "YES!" He said, and pulled the Grouper out of the water. However, it wriggled out of his hand. "Ah man!" Tohru said, and kneeled down again. "I'll catch another." He said, and reached his hand out. He saw a stingray and decided not to grab that, but the large fish next to it. He grabbed it. "YES!" He shouted, and realized the fish was a baby Tiger Shark. "CRAP!!!" He shouted and let go of it a nanosecond before it bit his arm off. The mother of the Tiger Shark was approaching. "RUN!!!" Tohru shouted and ran out of the water as fast as he could. He made it out just before the sharks ripped him to shreds. "Oh...my god..." He said. "Nearly got yourself eaten.'' Dekao said, back from the snackbar with ice cream. "Funny. Shut up and give me that." Tohru said, taking a parfait.

Netto opened his eyes. He got a good tan alright, but he also had a slight sunburn on his neck. "Thank God it's only on my neck." He said and got up. He started to walk back when he noticed a ship on the horizon. It seemed transluscent, and it disappeared and reappered, almost like a phantom. "...I'm probably just seeing things." "Okay, this is your half." Fuyuki said, giving Enzan 10 of the buckets filled with cash. Fuyuki kept the other 10. "That gives us each 2 billion." He said. The boys hoisted the buckets onto another wheel thing. It was late, and the sun was setting. "Before we leave, let's watch the sun go down." Netto said. "Why?" Tohru asked. "It looks like a giant fireball." He replied. The group watched the sun dip below the surfaces. They stood there in the twilight, watching until the last bit of sunlight had vanished. Just as they were walking back, Netto looked back. He saw the strange vanishing boat again. He rubbed his eyes and it was gone. "Let's go." He said. They all walked back to there houses. When the Hikaris got back and were all changed, Fuyuki decided to go search Ebay 2000 for random priceless objects he probably did not need but wanted anyways. "Fuyuki?" Netto asked. "Yeah?" "You'll be with us forever right? I mean, you won't try to take part in some kind of crazy experiment and end up like you were before, where you couldn't see us, right?" Netto asked. Fuyuki got up and hugged his brother. "I'll be with you, Rock, Mom, and Dad until we die. I promise." He said. Netto nodded. "Okay. Just want to make sure." Fuyuki nodded. "I won't leave you guys again, even if Kotetsu comes back from his grave." He said. With that, the three brothers finished what they were doing, said good night to each other, and went to sleep. Tomorrow, they could wake up and not have to worry about the DarkStalkers. The world was at peace...for now.

Well It's ended over the course of two hours. Time flies doesn't it. Although if it was me, I would of released a chapter every two days or so, so that people could properly critque on each chapter

Indeed, this was a very entertaining story, and I must admit that I was quite surprised to see it end so soon. I thought it would actually run on for a few more chapters, considering you posted the story within such a short window of time. And then I saw "THE END" and I was like NOOOOOOO...

I agree with Elementalman.EXE; it'll probably be easier for readers to critique and appreciate it if it's written in longer time intervals. Even if it's such a good story you feel tempted that you just HAVE to post it all at once >_<

Well I kinda had this fanfic finished a LONG time ago, so I posted it all at once. Glad you liked it though. I guess I'll post my next one with two chapters a day or something like that...
