If you count Mahajarama getting stuck behind Dekao's arse forever while trying to get to the lighthouse over the water and Hinoken standing over two guys as "doing something" then I could consider "talking" or "playing CS" as a physical workout. _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

Yeah, that's true. =/ One thing about Mahajamora though, he's got some mad typing skills. I was getting dizzy trying to keep up. However, maybe those guys will get a bigger role coming up though; they're overdo in my opinion. Madoi seems to be part of the focus of the next episode at least.
And is it just me, or has Maha's curry joint moved back to Densen because I wouldn't think Dekao would be able to just waltz over with dinner like that if he had to book a plane (unless Netto and Jasmine were in Jawaii, and I didn't realize it)? _________________ .+.~illusion~.+. |

In episode 22 of Stream, the Maha Ichiban crew does indeed return to Japan. That includes at least Hinoken, Madoi, Mahajaraman, Dingo, and Dekao. We have yet to see evidence that Elec Hakushaku went with them but I'd doubt they'd leave him all by himself in Jawaii.....at least I think they didn't. *ponders*
....maybe he missed the plane flight back??? j/k _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

No, they were definitely in Japan. And Yahoot and Dex were taking care of the Ichiban. I believe the other WWW members were back in Jawaii taking care of the Niiban. Mr. Match's beach-wear tells me he was in Jawaii, and that's likely where the Dark Chip smugglers were too. I guess the whole operation was Inukai using the dolphins to transport the Dark Chips accross the ocean to Jawaii where those guys would pick them up, or vice versa. |

Those are the only three things I disagree with.
Princess Pride gives some depth to Laika, which is a good thing, since the "perfect soldier" cliché is overused in anime. Laika actually showed some emotion in episode 26. Besides, she's a princess. How often do princesses get chased around by Asteroid Ducky? You can't blame her for being all like, "Please help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope!"
Laika hated Cross Fusion because he felt it was unnecessary. Now, what with all those Asteroid Navis popping up everywhere, he would need something to combat them with on short notice. CF fits the bill perfectly. Laika is your typical cliché stuck-up military jerk, but not a hypocrite per se.
Rush was the last hope for the death of the Dimensional Area. Meiru had a successful Cross Fusion using it, and everyone was all like, "Oh, wow. Cool," and it was immediately forgotten about. I guess it can't be Stream without that damned Dimensional Generator. |

Another yawn of a time. I usually am for character development, but this is ridiculous.
Battle was ridiculous as well. Lan pitches a mound of MiniBombs, and then uses a Sword to log BeastMan out? Just last ep he was nearly getting his ass whipped by the same navi.
The plot of using dolphins for transport was novel, and could have been utilized a lot more, had the plot not completely collapsed at the end.
And the preview...well...let's just say it was the high point of the episode because of its provocativeness. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Eh, maybe the story part of the episode would've made it better if we could FULLY understand it with some help from WPP. |

It doesn't matter what WPP does with this episode. Sometimes subtitles can make an episode that was "Eh, it was okay," into "Wow, that was pretty good," but they're not a magic fix-all. If the episode sucks without subtitles, it'll suck with subtitles, and suck 10-fold worse dubbed.
I'm hoping a catfight errupts between Narcy and Gauss in the next episode, but I suppose any catfight will do. True, it won't mark the start of a real plot in Stream, but it has the potential of being a good and funny episode to watch nonetheless. |

I would, of course, pay to see said catfight. >>
I'm just hoping Stream gets some good storyline episodes in soon. All these fillers are starting to bog down the entire Duo thing.

Do you think stream is trying to pass off all the people with duo creast? It seems almost most people in the 5th game have them by now |

Actually situations such as that can vary between things. In my opinion, I think that I might actually enjoy these specific episodes in english a little more when they come out. I'll actually know COMPLETELY what's happening, and there doesn't seem to be much that they'd need to edit or cut. |

I normally wouldn't be bothered with the whole "getting the crest of Duo" thing, but what did most of them do to earn it? Netto's, Enzan's, Raika's, and Yuriko's are pretty much deserved, but what of the others'?
And where have all the souls gone? _________________ 闇の黒井心の本当のカ

Not very good, but not terrible. Mostly because there was only like, a few seconds of reused footage and everything else was animated...and Jasmine continues to rot my brain with undying cuteness ._.
Lan- Proved what Cross Fusion can do.
Chaud- Swore to protect Ameroppe.
Raika- Showed compassion for Pride and saved her life.
Pride- Did the same back.
Yuri- Helped Lan and Chaud in a dire situation agaisnt Shademan.
Dingo- Risked himself for Shanka.
Jasmine- Bonded with Hoshi the Dolphin.
Not all of that is accurate, but yes it would seem that almost everyone from Team Protoman has a Duo Crest. However, I think it's more that they're just FORMING a team in the style of MMBN5 altogether:
Chaud- Leader
Pride- Defense
Dingo- Offense
Raika- Brains
Jasmine- Support
...and most likely in the next episode: Charlie- Reconnasaince
Perhaps it's a bit more like the DS game where you can have either one from either game forming the team, which means that not EVERYONE from both games could get a crest of Duo, like Tesla as everyone is guessing. The souls I'm stil totally unclear about, right now the show seems to be focussin on the kindness of human nature through the good guy characters that gain crests of Duo, and not pimping the GBA games (despite them doing this just by making a show along with it in the first place) with the souls.
The next episode looks like another comical one, and I have a feeling it'll be a bit better than these fillers they've been sticking to us, even though we always say "Don't worry, the next one will be better! ^_^" Every week... |

For some reason, I enjoyed this one more than most of the people here seemed to...
Possibly something to do with perspective, as I didn't expect anything more than pointless filler, with some hopeful focus and/or development on Jasmine's character, and I got what I wanted :3 (Not to imply that others are looking at the episode wrong though, that's just my perspective on it and the reason I enjoyed it).
The only problems I really had were the bit of reused footage which wasn't a big deal since the animation was a bit better than usual this week, the lack of Magicman (although Mahajarama's inclusion was still nice) and the part with the dolphin saving Jasmine, which seemed really sttupid.
>_< :! :O :/ :grr: :eyes: 8/10 Random rating navis. |
