Damn...Rai's been busy...
Anyway. I assume you need this chip for SuprSpr1 PA?
OK, two things. The first is that WideSht1 B does not exist. Each chip in EXE4 (besides some MegaChips, GigaChips, the like) only have three codes, and some may have * as well.
For WideSht1 E, find the specific virus LarkEX in Undernet 1 and S-rank him. If you have passed that point (where the LarkEX no longer exist in Undernet1), I suggest looking in jack-in points that do not connect to the main Internet, like the SinkComp in the DenDome for instance. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Thunder3 W x3
Hockey3 W x3
AreaSteal S x2
LongSword S x3
WideSword S x3
Sword S x3
Invisi * x4
Attack+30 x1
Attack+10 x3
LongBlade Sx 2
any 3 * code chips or you can throw in another LifeSword PA set, one more Thunder 3 W, One more Hockey 3 W, or whatever you want.
EDIT: I almost forgot. I greatly approve you put a SOUL fodder chip in one of theose three for Blues and Metal Soul as you'll have to make the most out of their charging abilities in battles! |
yeah but I have RedSun so would those wide swords be exchanged with something else or would they work with the other version? |

The folder is fine as it is, for either version. Personally, if this folder were strictly for busting Duo and only Duo, I would add another copy of LifeSword and chunk the W-coded chips for Gunsols.
For Red Sun, you lose charging ability. No big deal. Roll Soul will keep you alive during the game, and Search Soul will allow you to pithe the depths of your folder for the requisite chips to form LifeSwords. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Well...if this is a purely virus-busting folder, then I guess it is OK, but there are times when a secondary code will bite you in the posterior. To ensure that you do not fall victim to that, chuck all of the W-coded chips and load up more on the others. That means one extra copy of LifeSword, and other chips as you see fit.
I am a bit hesitant on the LongBlade S's. As they are the only chips of their kind, and cannot be put towards a LifeSword, they tend to impair your fluidity, since you may end up drawing a Sword, WideSword, and all of your copies of LongBlade. I'd toss them for now until you can replace all of the WideSword and LongSword chips with their respective blade chips. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Regarding that folder...why does it have 2 LongBlade S in it if it doesn't have 2 WideBlade S for complements to DreamSword? _________________ I can't help you. I don't speak English.

I was wondering what kind of folders you guys have (for the people that have beaten Duo) in Super Hard Mode. If you don't want to, that's fine, but thank you!
I just don't have the creativity to make a new fugly folder. n.n; |

Memnarch and I have built this mod of a SilverBullet folder. We use it as a general busting folder.
4xVulcan3 T
1xThunderManSP T
4xMetagel T
4xThunder3 T
4xInvis *
1xFastguage * [Preset]
1xFullCust *
1xLance *
1xTimpani T
1xTimpani *
2xTripCrack *
3xAtk+10 *
1xSuperVulcan V
1xAtk+30 *
1xDoublePoint *
It is by no means a competitive folder. It handles itself pretty well otherwise.
I am open to suggestions as well. I know there is trash in there, but I have not picked up the game in six months, so... _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! I won't go into the specifics of my folder since it would just embarass myself. As far as most people are concerned, my folder building style is pure crap. Since EXE1 I've been in the habit of putting all but one of each chip in every code in the chip trader in the interest of getting one chip of each code collected, and naturally this tends to take away my ability to put multiple copies of the same chip in my folder. Yes, I can still beat Duomega with relative ease, but I end up relying on my skills more than my chips.
Here's the chips that seems to be mainstays in my folder though:
Vulcans - Multi-hit chips are always good, especially in BN4 where they can usually get you an easy full synchro
HyperBurst - I wouldn't really reccommend this. I only really put the Spreaders in my folder Duo since I'm always so low on non-ground-based attacks.
GunDelSols - For Duo. Always.
Tornado - Other good multi hit attacks for Duo.
FastGuage - Gotta have this as Regular
Recovs - Always helpful.
Invis - Indispensible
Atk+30 - with all the multi-hit attacks I keep in my folder, this is definitely the most useful MegaChip you can stick in there.
Windman, Videoman - The only navis I seem to stick with. Mainly because they have the same codes as the Vulcans I usually keep in there, but also because they're good multi-hit attacks if you can aim them right.
HellHockey - For every navi, but not for Duo. For the most part, my Folder1 in each game is based around HellHockeys and stuff for regular battling, and Folder2 is set up for Duo, and has all the above chips.
So yeah, that's pretty much it. I put other various chips in my folders from time to time to fill out space, but those are the ones that are always doing the most damage or making the biggest difference. |

To keep you on your toes, of course
Also I did try the 5 code-four chip plan. It doesn't seem like a bad idea considering you [spoilers] have to ween yourself out of mono-coded folders for the next game.[/spoilers]
I always challenge myself. I never really like Mono-Coded folders anyway, too fast for my tastes. I like for things to suffer a bit. Plus, I'd rater rely on skills than PA's. You know why, it's stated about.
Of course I find it funny that in the early part of the game, I'd always get saved by a LifeSword PA o.o _________________ http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?ref=profile&id=100000142872316

At any rate, I still think they stick out...
So, MC got to posting our SilverBullet.mod for RS. Wow. Now that I look back on it, it is pure crap. Wow. What was I smoking when I built that thing? _________________ I can't help you. I don't speak English.

If you can beat him in 10:37, you don't really need help. Just do what you did before, but a half-second faster.
It's not like beating any navi in under ten seconds is that iportant anyway, particularly for Metalman, who's navichip only does one hit, so powering it up isn't very important. If you're just trying to reach perfection by beating every navi in under ten seconds, well, good luck with that but there's not much anyone can do to help you since you're already way better than you need to be. |

Like Raijin said, there is nothing much. The third of a second is probably there because you hesitated at some time in the middle of the battle.
Put it this way: A Fastgauge as soon as the game begins makes each turn last four and four-fifteenths seconds. Since sub-ten second bust time is your goal, you have but two turns to bust. If you have a FullCust, that should buy you one bonus turn. Thus, if you haven't beat the navi by half-way through the third turn (fourth if you used a Fullcust), then the cause is lost.
Edited: Thanks Poochy for the exact times! _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! But they'll have to avoid the Whammy, as they play the most exciting game of their lives! From Television City in Hollywood! It's time to 'Press Your Luck!'--Rod Roddy

Thanx for the words Raijin and Midnight Critic, is just that I despaired because I had been tried for a lot of time, I spent 3 lock enemy on him, and like 4 months (without playing every day). Is the only navi left in sp under 10 sec, without counting shademan because I planed to beat him after metalman, I also have all red sun navis under 10 sec.
But I'll keep trying until I got him, as you said is only less than a second |

Well, most navis can be easily HellHockeyed to death that fast if you're lucky enough to draw the right chips on your first/second turns, but Metalman's got that SuperArmour effect that makes you have to come up with a different strategy. I just checed my own records, and they're at about 20 sec. on both versions, so I obviously haven't found any such strategies myself. |

It's all about persistence. MetalMan is a special case because of his relatively high HP and SuperArmor, rendering my strategy useless.
Ideally, if you can FS a Bass with a load of attack modifiers on it, you should be able to bust any navi, seeing as how Bass stops time and thumbs his nose at SuperArmor. Thus, you could try to go in that direction. Even then, it is all about an ideal hand. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks!
