Well, Laika was in EXE5 as well. I was going to suggest the possibility of Jasmine and Medi returning in EXE6, but for some reason I thought that was a lower possibility. Jasmine and Medi just strike me as one-shot characters.

And I was only saying some people may make more accurate speculations if they tried looking at the situation from an anime writer's point of view instead of the character's point of view.

If I'm not mistaken, the upcoming 'fortune-telling' episode is ABOUT the shipping between Megaman and Midi o.o It said that Roll is getting pissed about it, but meanwhle Mayl isn't worried about Lan and Jasmine because she knows he sees her as just a friend.

It's going to sound like I'm bashing Roll but the thing is the anime exploits Roll's jealousy/crush towards Rockman a bit too often. She's been jealous of Aki-chan, of Aquaman, it was just a matter of time before Roll would grant us her puffy cheeks because of Medi's presence.

What IS surprising is that this time Meiru is taking 'so well' the friendship of Netto with Jasmine, she's gone puffy cheeks herself with Shuuko and Pride XP

Eh, I have a feeling the summary for that episode is trying to pull our leg. I bet she really will be jealous, she'll just be trying to pretend she's not. Either that or she'll start the episode off cool and go into jealousy mode halfway through.

They aren't taking Roll out, Medi'll be gone and so will Jasmine when their role's fullfilled. I'd hate to have to work on Capcom if I had to put up with these things sometimes.

First, people complain because there's no female navis other than Roll and Ring's one shot appearance for BCC. Then they pull Medi and everyone wants to burn the girl because she appears a lot on the anime close to Rockman because obviously he's the main Navi protagonist.

It's not that. Everyone's beef with Medi is that she's about as annoying and worthless and a female Navi can get. Not a very good female rolemodel, IMO.

If they'd put Ring in the anime, though, I doubt too many people would be annoyed by her. She's a tad bit on the annoying side, but Medi is orders of magnitude more annoying.

Simply Medi is not going to take Rock away from Roll, and in my personal preference, Medi is an enjoyable character and I didn't see her being 'useless' at all. You're entitled to your opinion, but that didn't have much to do with the fact people think Medi would replace Roll as Rockman's 'love interest' which is highly unlikely, otherwise she wouldn't spend so much time tending Gutsman.

I haven't seen people complain about her replacing Roll as much as her being downright annoying. True, I'm probably one of the most vocal about my disgust with her annoyingness, but I've seen a good handfull of people hold the same view.

This one topic is pretty much about: "So, do you think Rockman will result in being closer to Medi than Roll?" The point was if Medi would earn Rockman's heart. The answer is simple, she won't. Medi interacts a lot with Rockman because of EXE5. And unless Capcom itself decides to make Medi the new replacement for Roll, Medi's future in the anime is as much as Commander Beef's or Miyuki's or Saloma's.

sorry, I haven't seen any of the stream episodes and so I'm curious....how is Medi annoying? Based on Ryouko's character summary of her, she seems like an ultra-nice, strong, and gifted navi. I always used to be annoyed at Roll's incompetence as a fighting navi and inexorable jealousy...but MEDI...would someone be so kind to enlighten me please? =)

I don't think Medi is annoying. It just varies on opinion. I know some people who thinks that Medi's only a hindrance to Rock and Roll's relationship.
