Does anime affect what you do in real life? (ex. imitating)

Man... my obsession is going to make me go crazy... I swear...

I got a whole bunch of paper just to make a classic Osakan Paper Fan to hit my friends with... mainly becuase of Chidori from Full Metal Panic!

Meh... Now after watching the first two episodes of AIR (TV) I feel like running around like Misuzu with my arms spread out...

Yeah... and when playing games and I'm about to make a comeback... "Mada Mada Dane" from Prince of Tennis...

Ermm...yeah, it has affected me. I once shouted to a boy 'SIT!' during class. I didn't get int trouble, but the weird thing is I never watch that show! O.o

I've also started acting more like Edward Elric when someone calls me short, but in less violent ways.

Since I have been watching subtitled anime lately, I tend to use some Japanese phrases when I least expect it. Thankfully that only happened outside the classroom.

I'm only affected emotionally and mentally when watching anime. Once in a while, I let out a phrase commonly said by an anime character.

It's fun to let out cheap phrases, I don't think that counts. It's the same as quoting a movie. Everytime I'll go "OH NOES!" Like Yami Yugi does. XD Or I'll do some other random quote. I snapped my fingers just as regularly as before I watched FMA. I always do it when I want to state something or make in impression or express myself. Bad Puns have always been a must for me

I think the things I have picked up are stuff from Haruko from FLCL and Kabapu from Excel Saga. I'm starting to...wiggle alot. And say many weird things.

Heck, I'm one of the few people that actually know what's going on in FLCL. I can even name the underlaying baseball-love theme pun I've seen so far.

Since some of you might not know what I'm talking about I'll give an example:
You're at homeplate ready to make a homerun!(intamacy with a friend. Show between Naota and Mamimi. They wind up the pitch( n this case a giant hand). You're at 1'st base.(kissing. unlike the case between Naota and Haruko, Naota was concious this time. Kanchi and Mamimi.) The next obsticle is thrown at you. ("Half a...body? o.O") ect. ect. >.>

It's not only the anime for me - I tend to imitate game characters as well...

It's official... I'm taking up taekwondo, and after playing ToC I've invented a nine-hit punch combo... "Me-Te-O Na-Kku-Ru!!!"

And let's not forget a punch where you put your entire weight into: "Ki-N-Gu-Da-Mu Ku-Ra-Sshaa!!!"

Actually, I've managed to succesfully execute all of the humanly possible Arts in 'Legend of Legaia'...

When I'm bored in the middle of class, I sometimes find myself doing that 'jutsu' pose in Naruto - the one like that giant hand in the Tsunin exam. Weird thing is, I can't remember when I did it - it's as if my body moved on its own...

Speaking of which, I actually tried Shikamaru's pose in the middle of my English finals. I was 5 answers short from a passing grade. I only remembered 2, but I still passed the subject... barely...

I did try to change my training to that of Rock Lee, but that was too much for me to handle. I did tone it down a bit though, but it's still not a perfect match...

Add the fact that my cellphone is the Nokia N-Gage... I tend to copy the PET III Plug In sequences for each character when I'm alone in my room...

I really do want to experience the classic nosebleed. I've been into similar scenarios where the charcters react that way, but the closest thing I got was my leg cramping up. And the situation was something like Laguna's...

I'm sure there're many more events like this that happened to me, but I just can't remember them *tries Shikamaru's pose again*

Sometimes I like to think I'm Rockman or Goku(mostly Rockman) and will sometimes break out into a random stance... and the fact I do karate doesn't help either -_-;

I can relate to that one as well. One time, when I was very young(around 7?)and I was obsessed with DBZ, I would start pretend I was doing kamehameha in front of my whole family. That was the most embarassing moment of my life, even if I was only 7. I also find myself pretending to make alchemy circle thingys. Another one was with Inuyasha, when I took at least 100 cotton balls and made shoulder fluffs for all of my action figures(Sesshoumaru, anyone?) . Some actually have them on ^^' Another one is when I was into YuGiOh(TWO YEARS AGO, okay?) and whenever I played he card game, I would pretend to use Yami Yugi's voice. Pretty embarassing, huh?

I'm actually an animated person, even when I don't mean to be. Such as when I get hurt or hit by something I react like an anime character. I also make odd noises and normally act like an insane anime character.

Of course anime affects me. For example, I just read that (ex. ...) as (sex...). :P

But in reality, aside from the fact that I'm still searching for a green trenchcoat and camo pants, no. >_>;;

Actually, Core, I'm animated as well. I mean, I can imitate lines from certain animes as well as sound like certain anime characters.
