It was a goofy episode. Gauss scares me, yay more sunyama and rei(and no narcy or takeo), and shadowman next ep. All good things
(except gauss). ha ha

I was just wondering... was Gauss saying anything in that screencap by Viewtiful Starman? I'm planning to change my avatar to that Gauss scap, and I would like my signature to be the matching dialogue.

I'd prefer it if you gave the kana-fied words, but the English Translation is just fine with me...

Personally, I think that was funny, especially the pointing pose. Disturbing, yes. But more of funny. It gave me a whole new view on homos...

Maybe the 'bouncing boobs' that were mentioned here is what was really scary. Either that or Gauss changing his voice to try and sound feminine (or does he?)

I'm really curious as to what Gauss what saying at that pic - my internet's only dial-up, so I also can't download any Stream episodes.

Anime characters are typically blind and/or retarded when it comes to recognizing men in drag, or any pathetic disguises for that matter. Hell, nobody recognized Tesla even though the wig she was wearing looked exactly like her normal hair and she was still wearing those magnet earrings. I was actually surprised both Lan and Madd recognized Gauss right off the bat.

Who can't recognize Gauss? Everyone knows he's a crossdresser, and the beard doesn't help either.

Also, Charle managed to recognize Tesla after he took a closer look. That's gotta count for something, doesn't it?

That's just the thing. Being a drag queen in anime is ridiculously easy. If the disguise of Commander Beef held up so well for so long, I don't see how it's so easy to tell Gauss wasn't a woman just because of some blatantly obvious trademark facial hair. If they were going to be consistent, everyone should have been all "Wow, that is one hot chick! Most beautiful woman I've ever seen! Duurrr!!"

I bet Manabe was trying to make it sound like it was Lan's Net Saviour duty to vote for her. So he was torn between responsibility, friendship, pity, and free food. If I were him I likely would have gone with the free food.
