MMX 8 and MMX CM connection - *spoilers?*

I got CM for PS2 just now so I can use the game data with MMX8 in order to [spoil:7377e558df]fight Cutman[/spoil:7377e558df]. What I wanted to know is do I need clear game data in CM to for use in X8 or not? Also, since I'm starting on Easy Mode (I feel so ashamed T_T ) will the 'secret area' be unlocked or will I have to wait til I use Normal Mode?

Edit: I already know about the codes from www.mmhp.net but I'll be giving the PS2 CM to a friend of mine as a gift. I'd still like answers to my questions. *points up* Thanx again. :]

No, you don't need Clear save data. Just save anywhere. Make sure you're on Normal to fight Cutman. :O

no you dont have to clear the game data in CM all you have do is make a CM save on your Memory card and MMX8 will see the saved data and unlock the Secret Area if you are on Normal or higher (Wont work for easy mode)

What Nytetrayne says is true. I don't own CM, but I still got to fight Cutman with that code. [spoil:07b78c013e]Just go to Optic Sunflowers' stage, and at the end, You'll see a small light that your navigator will say is CM. Step into it to fight Cutman, in his original stage. He's a 2d sprite, as well as the level, but you're still 3d. It's funny.[/spoil:07b78c013e]

I've gotta try that code out sometime. I mean, I've already used all the other codes after all. Ultimate armor! Sigma Blade! If only X could use that blade. *sigh* And the final boss is still a tough fight. Heh, now to try hard mode.

[spoil:e8c52e0f9e]Cutman[/spoil:e8c52e0f9e], however, is super easy. One hit with the D Glaive and he died.
