I like this show, actually a lot better dubbed then subbed. Jean is my favorite so far, but Mugen is the second on my list. I've only seen up to episode 28 so far. I converted my friend into a Samurai Champloo fan after making him watch episode 4.

| Yeah I like that show to, as you can see by my avatar my favorite charecter is Mugen. I 've only seen the first Five on Adult Swim But im in the process of getting more episodes. But the thing I like the most about the show is how the incoperated Hip-Hop into the show. |

| My favorite character is Mugen. Not only is his voice actor the same as Spike but he acts alot like him sometimes. What episode is the dub up to because the dubs are the only ones I saw so far. |

Meh, the dub takes a lot of the "Japanese" out of the show. Like the thing with the hawk stealing the dumplings in ep 2, there was an old pun in there, but it was replaced.
Also, it's Jin, not Jean. |

Oh, it's spelled Jin? That's odd... Well, it doesn't change my opinion. And as for Fuu, she is a worthless freak. Mugen and Jin should drop her off in some random territory of a gang.

Not really, but it would of been nice to leave it in (wonders about the joke in ep 9 that will go unnoticed...)
Fuu may seem like a D.I.D now, but later on, she becomes a major player. |

I've only seen it a few times the only character that I can even remotely relate to(and like) is Jin, mainly because of his skill and the way he insults others heh but other than that the anime.....could be better

You can't really base the anime based off watching it 1 or 2 times. Around episode 7-8, it picks up in pace. |

I think it's pretty good. I personally like Jin over th other characters. As said before the noly thing I really don't like about it is that it took FMA's spot.

Well I wouldn't worry, FMA comes on Weekdays now on Adult Swim
As for Samurai Champloo, I love the show! Nice animation, and just had a good feel to it, love the fighting as well and how the character react to each other, just some goofyness in the fuedal era, LOL, I havent seen it on Adult Swim, but I been buying the DVD's, as I was a fan of the fansubs before it was licensed, good stuff

Yeah we can still watch FMA on the weekdays. yeah there are some pretty funny moments in Champloo. my favorite so far...
Mugen: "Are you just going to let that guy go?"
Fuu: "Yeah he was a jerk, but he did give me a nice set of hooters."
Jin/Mugen: "Hooters?"
 Gotta love the chest jokes. Madoi vs. Yai/Mayl. hehe.

I rather like Samurai Champloo and its stylized aura. It has amusing points as well as more serious ones. Overall, I find it fairly balanced.

Has anyone else noticed they didn't change the opening in the dub? If you listen to the dub and sub openings, they're exactly the same except for without subtitles.
