I just thought of something interesting when I watch "Teen Titans", which is that MegaMan and Cyborg may have some things in common.
1. They have busters (i.e. the MegaBuster and Cyborg's 'buster')
2. They are partially human.

The 2nd characteristics only applies to the Megamans in the classic, X, and Dash.
And don't forget, they're both partically blue.

Meggirl, you said partically human, which means they are 1/2 human 1/2 something else, not humanine appearance in your first post, that's why I said that.

Only Cyborg is partially human Megaman has no Humans Parts in him at all Megaman and Megaman X are both Robots Built by Dr.Light which can be proven by the MM4 Intro and the MM2 Intro

Actually, wouldn't EXE be partially human because even though his whole body is navi, his soul is human? Of course, I could be wrong

Well, as far as partial humanity goes, EXE has it closest with the mumbo jumbo about his digital DNA. Volnutt would come in second since his robotic parts emulate human physiology down to biological growth. But original and X? No. They're pure android.
And yeah, Arm cannons are trademarked to several characters, so that's defintieyl not a point worth comparing.
And you know the concept of a "Cyborg" covers pretty much every science fiction rendition of a human with robotic parts integrated into their physiology?
Heck, might as well also point out the Teen Titans Cyborg was a DC character for at least 30 years or more already. I'm no DC expert, but I remember he was on that old Super Friends cartoon.
At any rate, probably the most significant points to compare these two characters with is that they are both at least partially robotic and have a bluish colour schemes. But then again there are probably hundreds of characters fitting that description. |

Actually, they never gave us solid proof that the Saito isn't Rockman in the anime. There's not enough proof in the first episode, because when Netto got Rockman, we don't know if Yuiichiro actually integrated him with Saito's soul or not, so it's a possibility. Not trying to fight with you on the subject, just presenting facts.

And that's why it doesn't apply to the anime >.>;. It never gave any proof that he is Saito. As far as the anime goes, Saito doesn't even exist. The manga, however, obviously points to his existance, since Rockman went Saito style.

That's going into mysticism. Rockman was based on Saito's DNA, but he's not Saito.
And there is solid evidence that Saito doesn't exist in the anime. For one, Rockman is just a regular Navi, but with an Ultimate Program, unlike in the games, where he has a totally unique code base (based off of the human genome, of course). Secondly, Rockman was installed over an existing generic Navi, whereas in the games, Rockman was Netto's Navi from early childhood.

If memory serves, it's just the Saito Style and nothing more. Saito, as he's known in the games, doesn't exist in the manga either. |

I could've sworn I've seen the occassional hint dropped regarding MegaMan being Hub in the NT Warrior manga. Not that they really came out and said it, but it was small stuff, like when X games reference Wily making Zero, except more subtle.

If there is something in it like you say, LBD, it's probably in the 5th volume. My friend is borrowing 5 at the moment, so I can't check. It isn't in volume 4, though, and I think Yuuichirou would be the one to say something like that...

As far as I know, they don't say anything about it in vol.5. Maybe if they release a vol.8?

Um, how about in volume one where Rockman calls Haruka MOM! That's a pretty big hint that Rockman is Saito in the Manga. Look at the last story of volume one, the sidestory where Netto gets stuck in a trash compactor.

You would be correct in your belief.
Anyway, first sort of allusion is actually in the first volume, first story; Mayl(u) commenting that they act almost as if they were brothers. Coincidence? Maybe.
I'd have to check, but I could've sworn that Lan's dad had said something relevant to the idea in volume 2, but I don't have it handy right now.
