The green font colour IMO is not bright enough. My suggestion is to make the colour brighter so that it's easier to see.

I think it's just the background cyan of the forums. It's close so that the eye cannot distinguish the colors.
Why not avoid using green?

Becuase I like to use the green. For two reasons
1) I like the colour
2) I want to use a colour-coded score system when I give my rating to AMVs posted here.

Or use the Hex RGB code for the type of green you want. You just replace the word 'green' in the font color BBcode tag with #?????? (where the ?? marks are the Hex value of each color.
For example, using #50D942 will get you this color.

Well...you could also use the hexadecimal representation of the color of your choice. Let's see if this works...Test

I don't have a conversion chart, but you could try to play around with it.
