Okay: I've done a search on all the forums, but there don't seem to be any threads that discuss the FULL VERSION of Be Somewehre - the curent opening of Stream. If there are, I just might have typed the wrong keywords (*prays that this thread won't be locked...*)
I had a Japanese-speaking friend translate the full version, because I can't find any translations of it on the net. This is what he came up with: he said he translated it verbatim, so the grammar's... err... not good... in some parts.

There. I've checked the parts that are already translated in REO, and they more or less conform with each other. My friend (which, for purposes of recognition and respect, shall be referred to from now on as "Ero-tama") claims that this is a really nice song with a deep meaning - something about pain and suffering. That explains Stream's plotline, at the least. I agree with him - even with this kind of grammar I can aprreciate the deepness of the lyrics.
Anyway, we're not really sure about the "rokku" part - if someone out there has the answer (pun not intended... to be repeated ), kindly reply ASAP.
Now I'm off to force Ero-tama to kanji-fy the lyrics... _________________ 闇の黒井心の本当のカ

In fact, there were a couple of topics related to the full lyrics translation/romanization of Answer must be Somewhere. Though I don't fully remember if all of them were in the old forum or if one of them was in this one. I'll do a small search tos ee if I find it, but in the meanwhile I'll leave this one open. _________________ Hecha en MÉXICO - Avatar by Me.

Something to do with suffering, eh? That's a good find, my friend. The one thing that confuses me about this is what kind of suffering the song intends to show. I know that there are well over 10 more episodes (about 20-25 more) but no chaaracter has suffered that much so far, aside from Rockman and that whole fiasco with Dark Rockman, and Netto having to send him back into the past to deal with Shademan, when Netto feels pain because he cannot communicate with Rock at all, thus making him worry. While this could have to do with any of the main characters, I believe this means that something big will indeed happen, but we just dont know who, yet... Perhaps Barrel and his time-traveling ways? Who knows...Only time will tell. _________________

http://www.kishuku.com/reo/viewtopic.php?t=1266&highlight=buzy this was another thread that dealt with te translation but isn't of the full version. I'll leave this one open for Izumi-eske inspection though. Feel free to correct/add anything relevant to the post. _________________ Hecha en MÉXICO - Avatar by Me.

yeah, the other previous threads seem to have been lost with the old forum. :)
It's a very nice translation; succinct and not embellished. I like literal translations. XD Still a bit confusing in parts, of course, but Japanese songs tend not to make sense sometimes. _________________ One of the three EXE sisters! *Armstrong-style pose*

As for the word in red, I think it is "Rokku". By checking an online Japanese to English dictionary, "rokku" can mean "lock", like in the English translation you have there. _________________

Please, everyone!!! Give credit to the real translator - my friend, Erotama. I was just the one who posted. FYI, he became an instant fan after hearing the song (and watching the MTV as well... Buzy rules the dancing dept!!!)
I will post this at anime lyrics only after I'm sure that this is the correct one. i'm still in the process of correcting the grammar with only little change in the literal translation (or none at all, when possible).
And as for not being sure about "rokku", we aren't sure if "rokku" is the word. I actually heard "Ra???", but Ero-tama heard "RoKku", so I'm going with him in the meantime. But we're still both unsure about the word...
Then again, I think I should just leave the cleaning up of the translation to Izumi-sama. Ero-tama's currently busy with his studies, and I just happened to have the chance to have him translate it over the weekend when we last met...
Indeed, the song is about suffering - the whole world is at the mercy of Duo. It's up to Netto, Enzan, etc. to proove that mankind is still worth saving WHILE fighting off Slur's Asteroid Navis (and the Darkloids). And I'm very much sure that Netto, Enzan, and Laika feel pain whenever they're hit while in Cross Fusion. That's just being specific: if you're going to compare this to reality, everyone experiences pain. No one goes thorugh life without falling down at least once. It's okay to trip and fall over, but what's important is that you get up and move on. But you must remember your mistake, so you will become stronger (i.e. a better person) than before.
I think I just summarized the entire song. Oh well...
Izumi-sama, if there are any errors, please point them out and I'll discuss those with Ero-tama. We were watching TV while he was translating, so there probably were. Like I said, I just typed what he wrote down... _________________ 闇の黒井心の本当のカ

I heard "rakku", too. But then I checked on a Japanese to English dictionary and it said it means "rack" or "ruck". So then I check it for "rokku" and it meant "lock", which was in the translation. So I'm assuming that it was correct. I could be wrong, though. _________________
