What's Mr. Higsby's first name?

I never heard anyone say his first name, and I'd like to know what it is.

Higsby doesn't have a first name in the animated series or the game. In the Japanese versions, however, his name's "Yamitarou". I think.

They kept Yuuichirou's name, so I would think they would keep Higure's name the same in the English version, too.

They've just never said it in the English version; that doesn't mean he doesn't have one.

If they do use the original name in the games first [spoil:a6e1e7f028]like something in exe 5[/spoil:a6e1e7f028] it will be likely possible to be said in the dub

I don't think his first name was ever 'translated' for the game outside of Japan. His name is Yamitarou Higure. But he's hardly called that, only Numberman calls him Yamitarou.

Masa tries to refer to him by his first name, but always gets it wrong (like "Kintaro" or "Mamataro.")

his first name is the name that comes before his middle and last names. duh... *bricked*

but, yeah, they prolly won't mention it in NT Warrior. if they do, i'll be surprised.

The day that they say Higsby's first name in the dub is the day that they say Mr.Match's first name in the dub. X_X Let's just leave it at that. >_<

Well, we DO know that Mr. Dark's real first name is 'Dusk', but if I had to guess, Higsby's first name would most likely be some sort of americanized version of Yamitarou...if one exists ._o

No, we don't. Even if the strategy guide for BN5 counted as official info, there's nothing that says any of the names Miyabi gives out are his "real" name. He's a secretive nija. Bad example.

I always take the japnes names of the characters who dont have a first name in the dub and shorten them. Ken Match for example. SDo maybe Yami Higsby? or maybe Tarou. Confused

It's anybody's guess.

Yami Higsby? What's that... Higsby's pharaoh alter-ego that shares a body with him? He certainly hasn't helped Higsby win any NetBattles, that's for sure...

For once, I'm kinda on the same page as Wackoman. For all the characters in the english version who aren't given full names, I just take it from the Japanese version. I see no harm in mixing the names from the two versions, at least until the english version actually gives something to replace it with.

So the full name I've used for him is Yamitaro Higsby (it's customary to drop superfluous "u"s when spelling out a Japanese name in english, as far as I know anyway) I realize it looks like a weird mix of cultures, but hey, Higsby doesn't look much like a pure blood Japanese guy anyway.
