Because, a DS by itself is more expensive than both games put together, that's why. Razz

Ok we know that Rockman Battle Network 5 DS will link up with the old Battle network games so you can get your chips/other stuff but my question is HOW? the Nintendo DS can't link up to GBA games because it dose not have a Link calbe port for it to link up. so how are we going to get our chips from the Other Battle Network games? unless capcom programs the game to look for the GBA game in the GBA cardslot if not then its going to be impossiple to get our chips.

I think a DS has wireless communication so it doesn't need a link to hook up with other DS's. That's what I read HERE anyway.

Actually, the GBA slot method seems much more probable. It's the best way for everyone to be able to transfer chips without requiring anything extra other than a DS, a copy of EXE5 DS Twin Leaders, and the GBA cartridge.

That's how Pokemon Dash is compatible with Emerald, so the same thing could easily be done with MMBN games...

True, but it can only connect with other DS games, not GBA games even if the GBA game is in a DS, which makes me wonder how Crossover Battle would be accomplished... they couldn't very well do the aforementioned GBA slot thing, because you can't do a multiplayer battle like that, and the only other thing I can think of would probably require both people to have Twin Leaders, but if someone has it and Boktai 2, they could easily battle themselves and get the Megaman armors and Boktai chips... or maybe I'm just confusing myself again...

...Well, at least they didn't make it compatible with past GBA MMBN games so that terrible suicide-causing misconceptions could be made :eyes:
And going back to the one P.A. thing. There are too many ways to cause mayhem in this game at a greater scale then P.A.s, including [spoil:3438b0cfa7] a skill that allows you to use multiple P.A.s and Higsby's numbercoded Überchips at random while completely INVINCIBLE [/spoil:3438b0cfa7]... *coughs*

Well, My birthday has past, so I prolly can't get a DS (not that my Pa would LET me). Then again, I could salvage enough funds to .... and then hide it under..... heeheehee...^^ [rambleofevilness/]

well as you can see in the CoroCoro Picture above that they have Exe 1-5 listed as ones that can link up to Rockman Battle Network 5 DS

It's not like it was really that unpredictable. >_>

Also, do you have to keep posting everything that PMM does? I'm sure most of us have seen it by the time it gets here.

While I can certainly see the convience in getting Twin Leaders, I'm not going to get it, because I'd have to buy a DS and I really have no need for something in which you really don't use the touch screen as a major player in the game. Touch this to jack-in/jack-out. Dragging chips is rather silly when you can select chips faster with the cursor. I also don't care to set up a customizable team out of 12 navis, I'd rather have the option to use any navi from the past games.

You can drag OR use a cursor, you're not forced to use the touch screen.... I'll stop talking as drk has a giant list coming on.

I was reading Nintendo Power yesterday about Mario Kart's new connection System, Wi-Fi (As some of you don't know, Wi-Fi is a connection that can enable you to connect to Internet), while I was amazed by this new technology on Mario Kart, there was company list that is also going to use Wi-Fi, and Capcom is one of them. So, I wonder (since it's still listed as TBA), is it possible that Capcom is going to make Twin Leaders Wi-Fi? Not being too positive, but figuring that the only games that Capcom is going to release that's on DS is Twin Leaders and VJ ( which I doubt need Wi-Fi since it's best possible is two-players), so isn't it possible that Capcom is going to bring Twin Leaders to the net?

Please Read

If you can actually transfer data from previous GBA games, can you use Flash Carts to transfer to the DS game?

Are we supposed to know?

EDIT: Whoops, hit submit too early. :( Anyway, I doubt it would since the game probably wouldn't recognize the flash cart as an actual EXE cart.

I have no idea why anyone would pick Meddy over Toadman. Toadman's liberation ability is like Med's, but more versatile and convenient, and his battle abilities have homing capabilities while all Meddy has are different versions of the same horribly inaccurate bomb. What exactly is Meddy's appeal other than being more attractively proportioned than Toadman?
