Tohru's emotions

This is something I've been wondering about for a long time. After episode 6 in EXE, in what other episodes does Tohru display any actual emotions other than total neutrality or depression? (aside from the onsen episodes in Axess)

None really.

There was a twinge of concern during the final MagnetMan battle of EXE, when IceMan was pinned to the wall by that magnet. And I think there were (very) brief moments of embarresment when Yai acted all stuck-up. But aside from that, none.

Tory's mostly forgotten about in the Anime, so they don't really seem to give him that much of a personailty. Which is why I identify myself with him I guess.

Oddly enough Iceman has a heck of a lot more personality than Tohru. Still, we get to see a bit more of Tohru in Axess, when we see his love for Hot Springs.

Is it me or does it seem that Tory likes Princess Pride? At the end of the episode where you first see her,Tory is talking about how He's a big fan of Her,and His face was slightly red.

Well there was that time in EXE 52 when Tohru was in the submarine with Yaito's maids with a confused, "what's going on here" face.

Tohru is one of the most underappreciated characters in the anime. He needs to be love more.

It shouldn't even be Capcom but ShoPro. Tohru didn't exist in the first game, he was 'generic' kid sprite. The real operator for Iceman was his dad. They just made Tohru for the sake of having someone to run around with the rest of the crew and probably a fully grown up working man will be very suitable to run around in adventures with the Elementary school kids. So it's kind of natural Tohru has very little personality.

I've always liked Torhu... I don't really know why.. He's kinda ingored... But... He's kinda cute... And I guess being ingored makes people like you more.. (In Anime I mean) And... When he was talking about Princess Pride... And he blushed! He looked funny...

i dont like tohru all that much... hes just... a worthless character slipped in there and i dont really remember him showing any emotions except for the aki-chan episode

I admit, I think Tohru's a cutie, but that's about it. I really wish he'd have more of a personality, he has so much potential to have a solid charatcer. As for his emotions, or lack there of, I have seen him show emotion, but it was mainly in his voice. I wish they'd work on his character more. It's a big waste of cute if you ask me [/yaito quote]

I suppose he's a meaningless extra...and I guess the writers of the anime feel so as well. Thus his lack of anything focused on him. I feel the same. He just...doesn't....seem....to....care....

I would be surprised if he maintained appearances throughout Axess Pt. 2 and Stream. (Yeah, I'm in the dark about that.)

I think the anime should give Tohru a little more of a spotlight. I'm not a really big fan of Tohru, I think it awfully pointless to have him in the anime and not develop him much at all while Meiru, Yaito, and Dex get some focus here and there.

You know, come to think of it...Rush hasn't got much of a spotlight in the cartoon either besides the Neko episode.

He was ubo mad in the episode with the intro to the cutman brothers, & when they were eating at the noodle cart as Enzan walked by Tohru said something that sounded like "I'm gonna eat myself into oblivion" or somethin' like that in a weepy voice, & the thing with his dad, he seemed real emotional there, I think he's a wuss, but a cute wuss

I think I've seen Tohru display pretty much every emotion in the show besides extreme happiness. I can't think of any episode where he was ecstatic. He does display emotions, but he just does it very rarely. My favorite thing Tohru ever did was in episode 47 of Axess. Tohru arrived to where the rocket ship was only to see that his friends went into outer space and totally forgot about him... he was VERY bitter towards Netto at the end of the episode. I thought it was so funny to see Tohru mad about being left out of an episode. (sorry if that was a spoiler... but I really didn't see anything important enough to spoil tag)
