The Variable Sword in stream

Has anyone noticed or ever wondered what was up with the Variable (or NeoVaralbe) swords being used in stream or axess 49 with [spoil:582464c539]Dark Blues[/spoil:582464c539]? On the stream op with blues soul with it? or ep2 when Rockman went to Blues soul?

Uh...wonder about what? It's a sword, ZOMG. Or do you mean it's possible over use? If that is the case, then yes, I believe the Variable Sword is over used. There are plenty of other swords and they use that one.

its a nice idea and i like the concept

in the game however its hard as can be to make the thing do anything its too overcomplicated it needs to be hold a and press one button to a 4 charater sequence.

The Variable Sword isn't needed for its multi-purpose capabilities, the anime already uses all swords in all conceivable ways, as well as inconceivable ways like that ridiculous ElecSword beam cannon way back in Sharkman's intro ep. The only thing the VarSword has that the others don't is the Sonic Boom, and that seems to be the reason it's pulled out so much these days, so the characters can do a long ranged attack without having to use a gun. Or maybe the animators just like drawing it.

The weirdest thing is that Protoman and Protosoul suddenly have it as a default weapon, no chip required.

How can the animators enjoy drawing a misshaped sword lol i mean the regular sword is much easyer to draw from my point of viewbut i think for next years season they should stick to the oringal swords and add some other long lost fav like Slasher or Long and Wide Blade

hero swords been lost in the shuffle its a great sword as are knight and fighter sword but we never got to see those

Correction, Paladin's Sword does appear in the anime. I recall seeing it quite a few times in EXE and once in Stream and I could probably say it may have appeared in Axess a few times too. As for Fightersword and Knightsword....oh well.
