This episode only confirms my belief of the whole "Let's give everyone a damn crest because we can."

Hey. Meiru deserves a crest more than the rest of the new people (Neiji, Tesla etc.)

I'm sorry if my post was misinterpreted. I have no qualms against Meiru getting the crest. It doesn't seem, however, that all the others needed a crest.

That post was aimed at Elementalman.EXE not you heh. I have to agree though why the hell should she get a creast for. She has to cross fuse in a harder fashion, always does nothing really, and sticks tails up her ass. Does not seem like she has earned the worthyness of the crest Smile

Meiru has a caring heart. She wants to be able to fight and help Netto defend the world... as does Roll alongside Rockman, but the two just don't have to the strength. But it doesn't stop them... they have that strong determination, so they keep trying to help, even when it seems (and sometimes is) impossible...

So, I think she deserves a Crest. She's deserved one for a while. And that's probably why a lot of characters are getting Crests... because they have a steadfast heart of gold, and their actions reflect it. (Most the time, anyway... Tesla didn't do a damn thing to get her Crest.)

Yay, random rating time.

This is probably the closest I've gotten or will ever get to agreeing with Josu about a Stream episode sucking... while I didn't think the episode sucked, it just narrowly avoided that because of Starman.
Somehow, I found that the random pointless evil thing fit him well and there were some nice shots of him for close ups.
Otherwise though, the episode was pretty stupid.
Although, I liked Netto in this episode more than usual too.
And I really liked how it did moon dance, even if the actual animation after Starman shot it could've been quite a lot better >_>

T_T T_T T_T T_T T_T 5 "Why must they waste you like this Starman? ;_;" emoticons. 4 for Starman, 1 for Netto.

Come to think of it, it's been too long since I did any rating of my own. And since I actually managed to see this ep before too long...

I'm going to give it a more positive review than most people. For some reason I didn't find the butt shots all that disturbing, and while the tail sneaking under Mayl's skirt was weird, it was only a few seconds at the end of the ep, and not that serious. I think the relatively random nonsense and fast paced comic relief actually worked in its favour, but maybe that's because I still haven't seen about 15 eps in the middle of the series so I haven't had my fill of random nonsense eps like the rest of you. All I noticed was a lot of above average animation.

Plus, Raijin makes a cameo. I gotta give it at least one extra point for that. So minus two points because of the filler/comic relief combo and I give it

4/5 boners.

You can't really dock it points for re-using that stock footage, since it's obvious they're going to keep doing it. :puku:

Come on... let's not provoke anymore conflict. The mods are handling this, and I'd rather not have a flame war ruin a good thread... Can we just stay on topic?

I can't say I dislike this episode's animator... 'cause, well, he/she does do some really good faces and expressions from time to time. But everyone seems to... chubby when this animator depicts them, and it kinda bugs me. That and this animator has been used a VERY large majority of Stream... if I recall correctly, about 20 episodes. I'm getting a little tired of him/her...

Say can anybody translate between the scene in the beginning when jasmine raises her hand to the scene how she claps onto Netto hand? I wonder what she said when Netto couldn't find what to say next after introducing the girls.

I finally got to see the episode. It's nice to see Meiru get a little more focus even if it was just to get her into the Duo crest club. It's too bad Starman didn't get to cause more of a ruckus than he did though.

The next episode looks interesting, W3 is back (I was starting to miss Elecman, hope he's in the episode).

I thought you said you got to see the episode? He's in the preview at the end, so yeah, he's in next week's episode. He made a brief appearance earlier in Stream, btw (Dingo's intro ep)... pretty sure he's been absent since, though.

This episode bombed, horribly. *Listens to distant explosion*

Reused animation, a plot that was slapped together, yet another R Roll footage recycling... I just found the entire episode incrediably annoying.

I've come to the conclusion that R Roll was thrown into Stream to make up for Axess but the writers don't have any plans to take advantage of it or actually use it.

For some reason, I love Famous' facial expressions in Maylu's episodes. His expression when she Cross Fuses was priceless, and his expression when she calls for a D Area was hilarious. That was the major saving grace to this episode.

All in all... Two out of five TomahawkMets.

Okay, I'm done rambling here.
