The game's navi hell seems to be Murkland, actually. The Undernet's just supposed to be the wrong side of the tracks. Murkland on the other hand seems to be depicted as the source of all darkness on the net. |

I agree, Murkland does sound like a swamp, rather than cyber hell. I am also 100% sure that Slur threw Bass into the Undernet. The other eps with it I haven't seen. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

Curious....but exactly what makes you 100% sure it is so because I can't seem to find any evidence that makes it thoroughly true. _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

Murkland is the name the game gives you, so don't complain to me if it doesn't sound good. And the name doesn't matter, it's how the place is described that reveals its nature. Just like "A rose by any other name would smell just as sweet", would Christian Hell be any less full of evil, torment, and horror if it were called Smellytown?
So I say Murkland is the navi underworld, Undernet's just the navi cracktown. |

Well, I've just had an interesting thought. What all of you just said sort of reminded me of a song that I've once heard on the animated series called Futurama. This one is called Welcome to Robot Hell. The music is really catching. I know that it's off topic, but I only mentioned this in order to make a point. In any case, some of you are right that the Undernet is sort of the source of all darkness within the net. From what I've played in the game and comparing it to the anime, I'd say that the Undernet is somewhere inside of an old or ancient computer. Now, that I think about it, I have my own theory about the Darkloids that could maybe be involved within the Undernet itself. That's all that I've got to say. Thank you. If you all want to know about my theory, I'll put it up.

^^ Hello~, we're talking about the Undernet and it's potential use or sudden introduction in the anime, NOT "Futurama". _________________

im just hoping it gets used they skiped right over the alpha incident and pritty much ignored though the reason they did it is pritty obvious though im still annoied by it
--for anyone who hasn't figured it out the reason is this in megaman 4 the only nebula navis are shademan laserman and some heelnavis-the purple guys with the ufo heads. all the other navis sparkman burnerman and videoman are operated by regular people nothing malicous about them--well acutaly sparkman's and videoman's operators are cheater so i should say they just aren't diabolical in a take over the world kinda way--thuse they skipped over the alpha incedent and thuse the purpose for the undernet the gigafreeze program kind lost its point--would be nice if they could bring the alpha story into megaman so that we could have completion
neo www or what ever could try to use it to spread their evil plans or what ever just as long as its brought out and the undernet aspect is added

I still think Serenade would have fit the role of Slur very well. I mean, I won't deny that I like Slur being created... but she really didn't need to be. It would have been a great opportunity to introduce Serenade into the anime, and just look at the fire between Forte and Slur... wouldn't you have preferred to see Forte and Serenade go at it in episode 2 instead? I'm sure Serenade would have had much more interesting attacks than Slur and her little wire things.
But I think this topic has pretty much lived up to it's purpose... the UraNet is in the anime, but was just never really... "named." 'Not exactly sure what else there is to discuss without going anymore off-topic... _________________

Well, it was dark and sinister, underground (so to speek), and it had what looked like mouths with razor sharp teeth on the sides. Also, if you want something to stay hidden for a long time (or someone, in this case) the undernet's were you want to go. After all, wasn't the undernet originally intended to hide the gigafreeze forever? It just happened to draw the wrong people and became what it is today. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

I'll see if I can. The download took about 3 hours, so it might be awhile. I should get it up next week.
EDIT: Aw crap, can someone please tell me how to get a screenshot off of Windows Media Player? Thanks. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'
