Xhunter's 'Your 1st Anime thread inspired me to make this one lol

Anyways my 1st manga was Yu-Gi-Oh in Shogen Jump back when it came out in SJ.I liked it and all the manga that was featured in the mag like Shaman King,One Piece,etc

Heh, I was collecting some of the colorized Akira mangas that were produced about ten years ago, but didn't get all of them. Now I have the complete collection in its original black and white format along with Nausicaa and what they've released so far of Evangelion, Mahoromatic, Excel Saga, YuGiOh, Steel Angel Kurumi, and Magaman NTW. Not nearly as sizable as the anime collection, but still satisfying to read.

I know for sure it's something of Sailormoon....dunno which volume though. I have 1 through 18 in original Japanese, plus all 3 of Sailor V. >_>;

Uh, let's see..... First Manga..... Oh yeah! The first one I ever read was a Pokemon graphic novel series called "Magical Pokemon Journey"! That one read from left to right, and i read Vol.1 - 7, which were, I think, the only one released in America.....

I was hoping it'd be something more interesting than my first anime... but, alas, it's Pokémon. I was in an import store at Myrtle Beach once, and they had the manga in original issues per chapter (not graphic novels). I still have those four chapters, in their protective plastic sleeves, laying around somewhere...

But my first real jump into the manga world? I got some TokyoPop stuff for a birthday once... a 2002 manga sampler, Real Bout High School, and Ragnarok. I haven't purchased anymore volumes from either one of those... but I did get into Love Hina directly afterwards, and finished off all 14 volumes there. x_x;

I almost got into Pita-Ten, .hack//Legend of the Twilight, and Negima!... but something obliterated my interest part of the way through.

Now, I'm pretty much solely collecting MegaMan NT Warrior, Fullmetal Alchemist, MegaTokyo (if that counts), and just about anything Seven Seas produces. (Last Hope and No Man's Land? Highly recommended.)

First manga... Well, remember those Pokémon mini-manga that was kinda based on the anime? It was about the time when the Pokémon VHS started coming out. Came with them. Well, anyway, yeah. That was my first. No idea where to find those anymore. <<;

I think my first read graphic novel was Neon Genesis Evangelion Vol. 1

My first Graphic Novel to own was .hack//Legend of the Twilight Vol. 1.

When I was young and loved Sailor Moon, I got one of them...I don't remember which Volume it was though, and some girl took it from me a while back. D: The one that got me into actually buying and reading more manga was NT Warrior Vol. 1 along with my friend supplying me MARS starting with Vol. 1. =P
