The anime is very loosely based on the manga. I enjoy the manga better because it seems to go more in-depth with things like Full Syncro, and the situations that happen in the manga seem more complicated than in most of the anime series. In fact, it was the manga that first got me interested in Rockman. While I like the manga the most, I still enjoy the anime too!

The anime is not based on the manga. Both the anime and the manga are based on the Gameboy Advance games, and occasionally ideas from one will influence the other, but neither the manga or the anime is based on the other.

I really like it a lot more than the anime. It's more enjoyable, and at least there's some awesome battles in it. If the anime were like the manga, then I'd watch it. I mean, come on. Who wouldn't want to see volume 7 animated? Then again, the EXE Movie looks to be pretty good as well.

Only thing I don't like about the manga is how powerful the characters keep getting. It's starting to become ridiculous, same reason why I stopped watching DragonBall Z. First Full Synchro was enough to be the ultimate Net Battler, then Hub Style owns everything, even Bass, then Dark Power nullifies it and becomes the ultimate power, stronger then everything... then Soul Unison ends up beating Bass with Dark Power AND fused with Gospel, THEN Dark Loids are here, saying that THEY are the ultimate power... RIDICULOUS! I enjoy the Anime much more, because it's never a crazy power battle, strong enemies are defeated through determination and miracles, not with permanent power ups.

Yeah that's what turns off readers and viewers,like in DBZ,a super sayain was legendary and then Goku gets it then Trunks,Vegeta,Gohan,Goten and young trunks.in Rockman exe it's not that i dont mind that everyone powers up it's just i hate how one person gets all them,Rockman Gets Style Change(with the exception of Blues' sc in vol6),Soul Unison,Full Sync.In bn 1to3 i hated how no Navi used battle chips,That's why i enjoyed bn4 and 5 and 4.5 cuz it gave the others navis power!!!:D

If you haven't noticed, in the manga, Netto/Lan stopped using battle chips....(or just doesn't use them as often). I hate that! The thing that I like about the EXE series is that they fight with chip data! Thats y I never was into DBZ, anywho, the battles are too DBZish to me, thats y I like the manga better. ...lol.

Well, they don't really need them that much in the manga anymore. Ever since they had Saito-Style, Bug Style, and then Soul Unison, it's not as significant to use Battle Chips anymore. The only ones I see are the Zeta-Cannon advance and the special "Mega-Booster" chip from Volume 2.

Both of them have their perks. I have had the experience of both, and I happen to like the anime a tad more, simply because it allows for some sort of character devleopment for the other characters. The manga is quite good at expounding on teh characters of Lan and Chaud, but not many other people.
