Wow, it's been a long time since I updated this XD; But I've got a bunch of stuff! Including RollEXE's request. So let's get started, ah?
(Any banners that need to be shrunk are still getting worked on. For now, enjoy the new stuff.)

Thought the requested banner would be a good place to start. Is that satisfactory, Roll? ^^ The laughter is a bit hard to see, but that was intentional =P

Besides other banners and stuff, I've been working on little animated sprite icons. You can see an example as my Cutman avatar, but I did two ones prior. The timing is off, but that's because my gif program likes to save things a bit faster than they should be, and I'm just too laz--err, busy with other stuff to change them ^^;;...

This one is currently my avatar over at DeviantArt. I was browsing a few of Bass' sprites out of boredom one night, and decided to try my first sprite gif. This was the end result.

Holy cow, I messed up the scarf on this one XD;... It would've included him teleporting in and out as well, but I had problems matching up the beams. I know a different technique now (which I incidently used in the Cutman one) so I'm going to give this one another go... Especially so it doesn't move at turbo speed ^^;;;

I was browsing MMHP last night, and as soon as I saw this image I HAD to make something out of it Laughing

. I'm going to stick with Cutman for a while, but anyone who wants to use this avatar for anything can go right ahead.

And finally, art =P. I'm just going to post what they are and links to the pics at DeviantArt; the descriptions under the pics at DA will do FAR better in explaining each pic than anything I could put here ^^;

Just did a new banner to test out transparency methods. Anyone can use it if I don't ;P. Oh, and it's really for darker backgrounds only because of the yellow text over the split, but I might do a different version later xD' (I'll probably do another version anyway, to redo the larger image's outline. I just don't feel like spending any more time on it right now ^^; )

Not sure why the pieces of letters over the split are lighter than the rest, but I'll figure it out later...

Being not completely happy with the other Cutman banner (in the previous post), I decided to do another version. I like this one a lot better, even if it is a little...busier (maybe too busy ^^; ). The image in the absolute background (the white-lined one) is a pic I myself drew the other day, but inverted. The colored background is one I found off of Google. The EXE sprite came from Sprites, Inc. and the CutMet sprite was used with permission from The Webbuilder (thanks again! ^^). And the text is "Roughedge", which I may change on any future version. Once again, if I don't use it, anyone else can ^^

...Before you ask, I have NO idea what it is with me and Cutman lately Laughing

You're new Cutman banner is a heck of a lot better than you're other one. I wasn't too fond of the yellow text, and the Cutman art had a white fuzz around the edges. With your new banner the art looks smooth, the background and text fit well together, and Webbuilder's CutMet gives it a nice touch. I say this one is two times as good as the other one, nicely done.

Thanks guys ^^ I'd say my banner skills are improving, no? Compare the newest Cutman one to ones back on the...what, first page?

Now, for once I'm actually putting a drawing in this topic again XD (Okay technically I put links to drawings in an earlier post, but this one will actually feature the pic). It's a 10 minute sketch of Bass that I did about 5 minutes ago. And oof, I messed up on that helmet ><;... Ah well, still looks good though. Originally I was going to put him standing on something instead of just...floating there, but the way I drew him made anything I would try look weird (the stuff I had ideas for, anyway). If I ever clean this up, I'll give it an actual background =P. And ignore the fact that the scanner kept in the grain of the paper; if I clean it up that'll be gone..

Bass's eyes look too beady to me. Probably just me though.

Wow Roll Soul, all this pics and banners are awesome! I couldn't do anything this good with a gun to my head! I exspecially liked the banner with Megaman in all his moods. The ... then 'Will you miss me when I'm gone?' was touching and sad at the same time. T_T Keep up the good work!

Got a couple more new things ^^. They're...actually nothing special, just 2 more animated gifs. But I thought I'd put them here anyway, until I have a new pic or banner to put up... Personally I think the Cutman one is a little slow, but that's just me....

I've been thinking a lot about our dear Saito lately (and have even been RPing him with a friend) so it stands to reason that I'd draw him, right? This is about my third completed pic so far, 5th overall I think.

The quote that makes up the title (and the first part of this commentary) is actually from the aforementioned RP; see, Rock had been turned human (long story) and someone asked which he liked better, being a Net Navi or being a human. After a great deal of thought, he came back with the quote.

Yay for cheap backgrounds! XD I wanted to do the mirror thing anyway (which didn't come off too well) but the color...m'eh, I may change that later. Yes, Rock and Saito are supposed to be done with different line styles, even more differentiating =P. I'm also aware that Saito has an official hairstyle (and look as well, maybe) but that's my way of drawing him and I'm sticking to it >P XD.

Aii, Rock looks weird.. No matter what I do, I cannot draw that Navi x__X;;"

Now, a semi-big update today! First I'd like to announce that my request line is still open, in case you want me to make any banners, icons, or animated gifs (from pre-existing sprites) for you. Just drop me a line, either in PM or in this thread ^^

That's not all though.. Here's a slew of icons and sig banners, all (save for the one marked with my username ;P) open for free use! There's also an oekaki pic in the bunch, but I'll save that for last. Now, on to the pics!

I thought I might as well start with something simple. This is my current avatar but as I probably won't be using it for much longer (this version anyway) I stick it here ^^

I did the icon on the left, HubHikari did the one on the right, and has graciously given me permission to stick it here with everything else ^^ (Personally I think Hub's is better than mine; you can actually see the text Laughing

)

A Number Soul banner I did earlier today. I think the text is understated, but if I made it any bigger it would've detracted from the pic (believe me, I gave it a shot).

Wanting to make myself a new sig banner, I put this one together (having to download new fonts to do it-- hey, this new computer only had, like, seven XD; ). As you can probably gather, I decided not to use it, but for the sheer reason of showing it, I put it up =P

One I did that was more a test of partial transparency than anything. But it's still a cute Rock/Roll banner nontheless, I think ^^ (I'll probably do another later with a different background image. And...with a space between "one" and "day"...*sweatdrop*)

EDIT:

New version, put against the old for comparison; personally, I think this one's MUCH better. Heck... If no one uses this one, I will ^^'

And lastly, the oekaki image. It's Cutman--with a messed up neck cuff, mismatched scissor blades, and a lazy background--but it's still Cutman. Yay! XD ^_^

(Just thought I'd note that, from this point on, the first post in the thread will contain a list of the specific updates each time, for those who don't shortcut and click directly onto the newest page ;P XD)
