I have a strange title...

I just posted a message today and discovered that under my nickname, my title had been put as 'i have a secret freking title', and I definatly didn't put that there as I am still waiting for my User Title editing access to come back. Could someone at least try and tell me what the heck's going on?

EDIT: Now I've just found out that it changed back. This is really confusing me....

Really, REALLY wish people would pay attention to things that have been posted a zillion times before. You would think that the title itself would be self-explanatory, no?

Just a thought, Izu. Perhaps it would be easier on us, and you, if you just removed them entirely. This has happened ....five times now? I think. >.> Its kinda pointless to begin with.

Maybe just move the first surprise title a little further down the line. It seems people with 66 posts can still be too n00bish to understand what's going on. Maybe only people that stick around for 166 posts can catch on.

Or maybe it's just the nature of that one title. "Blues' Ass", something about that just bewilders new people for some reason. Maybe you should switch it with something a little less subtle, like "This is a surprise title you clod, everyone gets them. It'll go away. It's just a joke. Laugh and don't make any posts asking about it."

That would probably scare them more, and our problem would be back in play, with no solution.

Izumi's policy is short, sweet, and quite an elegant solution, assuming the posters understand after that point...
