Gender Confusion

When I first saw Gundam SEED subbed, I couldn't tell if Rau Le Creuset was a man or a woman.

Ok...this may seem weird but when i first saw Raika I thought that he was a girl. No offense Raika fans, but is it just me or is it the makers?

Athrun Zala, Gundam SEED. Especially in that flashback in the first episode. If it weren't for his voice...seriously.

And this is video games, but Lucius from FE7. Seriously, they even joke about it in the game. In one of the optional cutscenes.

And, well, Zero. For obvious reasons.

...I never really had a problem distinguishing anyone that wasn't tres femme. The long hair never confuses me. I think knowing about Zero, most Rockman fans are difficult to confuse. Also, I play Fire Emblem, which has some of the girliest guys I've seen in any video game.

Anybody see the fourth season of Digimon "Frontier"? These two villains called the Royal Knights. The pink one was actually a guy, but he was dubbed as a woman.

I remember there was this B-Daman forum and everyone there thought Tsubame (Terry) was a girl. There was a few threads that even said he was hot.

Well, almost everyone including myself thought Serenade was a woman. Now I'm not sure. One source says Serenade is a man while Josu said the real Meijin said both. And when I was really little, I thought Zero was a woman.

Other than that, I've never really found any gender confusions.

...Okay, maybe one of the immortals in Boktai 3 is a woman. Two even, if Nidhogg's rider is female.

i don't mean to go offtopic but i'm gonna have to say Vivi from Final Fantasy IX i didn't recognise that Vivi was a he since he had a girl's name and also Zidane probably because he has long hair and a tail

In Transformers: Cybertron, Override is a female. Which makes more sense, IMO, because Nitro Convoy has a decidedly feminine alternate mode (very curvy futuristic car) and just screams homage to the female Headmaster Minerva. I guess Nitro Convoy could be considered the 'bishounen' in Galaxy Force, however that works.

Chromia's face (on the toy, anyway; can't say about the model) is really horrible for a femmebot, though. Doesn't quite fit in with the rest of her.

And I have to agree on Lucius from Fire Emblem 7. His official art ( http://www.maxoegames.com/fireemblem/artwork_lucius.jpg ) just makes me want to go 'ack!'

Also, Limstella (http://www.drifting-dreams.com/FE/Limstella.jpg). According to the FE6 & 7 artbook, 'she' is really an 'it'.

I do think that making nitro convoy into a girl is a little weird but that's a little off-topic. Anyway, Malik that one's a guy? and there's a bedamon forum? And about lopmon and rhodoknightmon(crusadermon) It's true lopmon's a guy over there but it does fit more for it to be a girl doesn't it?
And crusadermon is a guy just very girly.

Hmmm...well, one that comes to mind is Amelda(Alister) from Yugioh. If you take a quick glance at his face, he does look female. If you take a good look though, his body does look rather masculine. His clothes on the other hand >.>

Also, there's of course Haku from Naruto. As for Jakotsu and Serenade, I always knew they were male ^^;

And I heard that many people were confused over Harpuia's gender. Then there's Foxtar; I'm still trying to find out it's gender. Some say male, some say female -.-
