The Jungle, Fish etc program never seem to attract the virus/navi it's supposed to attract Sad

All SP navis with the exceptions of Foot and Swallow are random encounters in the same area you fought their V3 in. And the encounters are always the same withing a given area, you can't increase or decrease your chances by running around on certain platforms or walkways. The game doesn't work like that.

Rather than glitching SneakRun, put it in unglitched and you can guarantee the next battle you fight will be against a navi. In all areas except Nebula Area, even when the viruses are upgraded to V3, SneakRun will filter them ALL out, only letting navis attack you. You may have to walk around a given area for severalminutes without encountering anything, but it's better than wasting time with a bunch of virus battles first. So use SneakRun to track down any enemy except Bass Omega, it works.

Sneakrun does that much? I new it filtered out weaker enemies, but it makes it so all you run into are navis.

I actually have to confirm what I said about Jungle program. In SciLab4, makes you encounter Tomahawkman ALL the time. I guess OilBody should attract Napalman in ToB?

Actually, since SciLab4 contains Chample Viruses, no, it wouldn't guarantee anything. Fish wouldn't work for Toadman either, since Marina and Whirlies infest End Area, but Battery Mode would work on Magnetman at least since the only viruses in ACDC1 are CannoGuards and Metools.

I have a kind of unorthadox method for finding navis... In an area with a treadmil, I just tape the GC controller's joystick down to run into it and then change the channel and watch TV... when I turn back, I'm in a fight with ????SP :3

Elemental navis are definately easier to find than the non-elemental navis, and the Element search programs will help, but Sneak Run is a bit more efficient

Better yet, just use the sub chip and save yourself the customizer space

That's ridiculous. Not saying it's not true, but if it is true, then "Absolute Limit" is a big freaking lie. You could easily get the full 1000 HP before opening that door, so why make it 900 and still call it "absolute"?

How do you know it's 900 HP? Does it say that in the BradyGames Guide or something?

I didn't have any of the other things you said when I opened the door, heck, I still don't even have the subchip capacity. Also I tried to open the door when I was at 860 and it didn't work. Oh, and I don't know about this easily getting the full 1000 HP thing, that was a pain in the ass for me. Razz Uh, Sorry for the kind of late reply also.

Forgive me if this was already asked, but how does your teammates using Dark Chips work?(Since I'll obivously be bringing one in later for Chaos Unisons. Oh, and I'm at the third liberation mission, BTW)

Is Mega's HP and Karma still affected, or just the HP of that teammate for the rest of the game or the Liberation Mission you used it? And what happens to Mega's HP and Karma if you use one while you have control of Proto/Colonel during the DarkMega chapter?

It works just like in previous games. Protoman targets the nearest enemy with an open panel to the upper left of it and slashes, then if there's an empty panel directly behind the enemy and you press A while he's doing the first slash he'll attack again from behind the target. Finally, if there's an empty panel to the lower left and you press A during the second slash he'll do a third slash and the delta will form around the taget. Capable of hitting multiple targets if they're all in the same column.

So it's better if the person is in the middle, right. Thanks

Also, I know about the very slight differences in the ending of the two versions, but I read in the players guide that there's a 'special ending' for if you defeat Bass, and the Omega version of [spoil:954c612a4c]Nebula Gray[/spoil:954c612a4c] when you play through the game again. I HIGHLY doubt I'm going to have enough attention span to try and get it, so do any of you know what happens in it?

Nah, the only extra bit of ending you get after beating FinalBoss Omega (spoilers man, spoilers!) is the "Congratulations, Thank you for playing" screen like in previous games.

OK, I've been trying tto build a folder that revolves around Colonel Soul. At first, I wanted to do one that revolved around Toad Soul, but that folder wasn't very fun.

http://venus.walagata.com/w/moose161/ColonelSoul.txt

Sorry for some of the abbreviations, I copied it right off my SP, and noticed I only fixed some of them. I'm thinking I should get rid of the Attack +10, but I don't really know what with. Oh, and sorry if this should have gone in the folder thread. I wanted help with mine rather than just post it, so I figured it would go in the help thread.

My PC is really slow so I can't look through 20 pages but where do you find [spoil:27c82d89f1]SaitoBatch[/spoil:27c82d89f1] in the UK version.

You don't. It's not in EXE5. Well, the data exists, but there's no way to obtain it without cheating. It seems the programmers took it out in favour of the Hub Hikari E-Reader card instead.

I might as well try and give advice to Seren since nobody else is jumping at it. Keep in mind I'm no folder expert.

First off, I'd axe at least one of those codes. The Z code preferably. It should also probably have more non-elemental and obstacle chips since those are the ones ColonelSoul uses. I don't see Kunai, Asteroid, or Sanctuary puling their weight very much. At first I was going to say HotBody too, but that can actually use Obstacles to extend its range and hits, so putting it in an obstacle focused folder is actually a good idea. It may also pay to try and replace one of those codes with H so you can fit the TimeBomb+ PA in there. Even if you don't want to use the PA, they'd also make good sacrificing and ColonelArmy fodder.
