While i was cleaning up my room yesterday,
i stumbled into an old gaming magazine that i thought i'd lost...
Nothing special inside (at first): it had coverage on many (nowadays) old Snes games; among them MMX3.
But taking a closer look at some pics like this one:
(Yes, i know the pic isn't clear at all, but it's Frozen Buffalio...sorta)
Makes me wonder...was there a beta of this game or something?
If so, then why didn't anyone mention it before?
That's odd...

Doesn't surpise me... There are usually a bunch of Beta pics for every game in existance (Well, mostly every game). Tales of Phantasia, for example, was supposed to have an extra playable character in it, but he was scrapped. I've seen a few beta shots of the characters. There are a lot of X7 beta screens, too. Same with Command Mission and X5. Not an uncommon thing. I saw an X5 one with a pure blue backround and nothing else in the opening stage in a magazine I own.

I'm sorry if the pic is *that* poor.
But i just had to make sure that, you could "tell" the difference between that buffalio and its final version....
I have many other scans to compare, if you like...

| Look closely, X doesnt have the helmet upgrade yet, thats why the armor looks liek the shadow armor. Its his standard helmet |
