I remember when I first played this game. Ok, I went for a usual trip to Wal-Mart. Suddenly, I stumbled upon the video games in the electronics section, and I found Mario Kart: Double Dash! I tried the game, and I won in my first try. The second time I played was when I was on my home from Greenwood, IN with some friends. A couple of my youth group had a Nintendo GC and the game "Mario Kart: Double Dash". I was quite good on that game. _________________

When Mario Kart Double Dash came around it replaced Super Smash Bros as the game you must own if you have a gamecube. I've beaten the whole game and am still playing it quite often. If you dont have it i seriously suggest you get it. _________________

Maybe you just don't have eyelids.
Yeah... it was probably the last game I counted down the days for (though I can't say it's the last good game I bought; RE4 takes that spot, but it was a complete accident finding that one). In my junior year at high school, a senior would bring his Gamecube to school and stash it in our science teacher's supply closet, and every day (when she'd allow it, which was... every day), we'd all play MK:DD.
I don't mean to boast... well, OK, yeah I do... but I rock at that game. I mean, come on... I've dodged (read: evaded, not defended against) spiny shells without the aid of items. The seniors wouldn't let me play sometimes... they got tired of getting lapped. It's a shame the game didn't support online play (and too bad I'm too lazy to try and get Warp Pipe to work). _________________

I'm pretty good at the game. Moislty with light chartacters. My favorite combo is Bowser Jr. and Toadette in the Parade Kart. For some strange reason my younger brother has never lost a game. I've never beaten him and he entered a local tournament, there wer sixteen entrants all older than me and he beat the crap out of evertyone. _________________

I won a small tournament held in town here too. My character combo is typically Bowser Jr. and Diddy Kong. With Diddy, even when you're in first place, he almost always gets his speciality... and used correctly, the giant banana peel can create some major problems. In fact, you can get 4-5 per lap... they're just that common. As for Bowser Jr., if you're not exactly lapping your competition, you get his giant shell often... and, man, that thing will wipe out lines of racers in front of you. _________________

Yeah especially if you get good at aiming with it. I use Toadette for her Divine mushroom. It rocks...a lot. When using mediums I tend to go for Daisy and Yoshi. Yoshi's egg can come in handy and Daisy' heart when used correctly can slaughter enemies with there own special item. _________________

Huh, I might get this game... but I'm not very good with any kind of racing game because:
1: I bump into the walls on the sides of the track. ( Not often.)
2: I bump into other drivers/players. ( Not very often.)
I have a problem with staying in the middle... I'm better with horses ( LoZ! -_-; ) but I always want to at least try Mario Kart: Double Dash. _________________ MegaMan Kilobit

Mario Kart Double Dash was me and my brother's first video game when we got our gamecube. (but we did get two other games to go along with it). It was pretty fun, and we've played it for a long time until we got Super Smash Brothers Melee. Then we quit playing Mario Kart and spent our hours on the gamecube playing SSBM. Then we played Mario Kart again, and then we stopped. oO I'm not very good at racing games, and so far, on all our video games, my brother has been the one to unlock all the stuff. (but since we've stopped playing Mario Kart, we haven't unlocked the last few characters and karts). My favorite characters are Toadette (for her mushroom), Baby Mario, and Baby Luigi, but my character combo was mostly Diddy and Paratroopa. I like spamming their specials. I also really sucked at driving on Sherbet Land. (How good are you at Sherbert Land?) _________________ Avatar Image ©2005 Super Smash Brothers Arena and Nintendo.

Sherebet Land is one of my favorite stagesa. My best stages are the ones for the star cup (DK Mountain,Sherbet Land, Yoshi Island, Mushroom City) But I enjoy driving Yoshi's Island in mirror mode >_< _________________

I love Double Dash, though not as much as I love Mario Kart 64. My team is usually Toad and Baby Mario on the classic Toad Kart. I usually get those two because, well, they're my favorite characters, and because their specials are great for tearing ahead of a few people in front of you. In relevance to items, I've noticed that you get mostly items for disrupting people behind you when in the lead, so I focus on using my specials to get me back in first quickly. The Chain Chomp is flat out insane, and best used when I've got a couple people in front of me. And the Golden Mushroom lets me get a quick burst of speed to break away from the crowd _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

I want this game not only because it's good but because I got kart 64 with my 64 first and I just have to get double dash. Plus these are pretty much the only racing games I play. |

Played it, loved it, play it whenever there's someone else to play with. XD
My favorite team is Koopa/Parakoopa and Diddy Kong, in any light Kart with an acceleration rating of 5. Koopa/Parakoopa's triple shells show up VERY often and are good for wiping out opponents BOTH in front and behind you, and Diddy's giant banana peel is also ridiculously common to get and very useful for wiping out players behind you. While stuff like the Chain Chomp is insanely good, they don't show up often enough to be reliable unless you're in last place or pretty close to it. And as for the Kart choice, well, you're bound to wipe out and/or hit a wall, and fairly often at that. The added acceleration is well worth it, especially when compared to heavy Karts that accelerate like they're glued to the track. XD _________________ Math problems? Mario Kart: Double Dash, although not as great as my personal favorite of the series Mario Kart 64, is still a great multiplayer racing game for the GameCube. My personal favorite characters to use in Double Dash are Yoshi and Koopa.
And one other thing, who has played Double Dash via the LAN mode with up to eight people? I know I haven't. _________________ Anything we assume at this point is an assumption. |

Such a great game. <3 I usually use Peach and Daisy, with Daisy's car. Sometimes I swap one of them for Toadette or Birdo. I'm very proficient at the Rainbow Road, on all settings. ^_^ _________________ One of the three EXE sisters! *Armstrong-style pose*
