I play PSO Ep:1/2 on my Gamecube. I don't have the adapter so I am offline with a Level 48 RAmar using the Aiko's Frying Pan as my weapon. My mag is level 102 named Kaithibita or something like that.

yah i dont play online but my friends got the adaptor and we might be able to get my character online when ever im over but im a lv 68 HUmar with Delsaber's Buster,a 4 sloted generals armor with 2 orge powers 1 orge power ++ and a PB/amplifer and i use a SHELID OF DELSABER and have a lv 155 mag Kobanda or something like that

PSO...ah, fond memories. My best character was named Realm,(HUmaru) a slightly Sephiroth-looking guy at Level 200 with maxed out stats. his equiptment was Tsumikiri J-Sword OR Dark Flow, Guard Wave, Three God Addons, and a Kasami Bracer. When I used the MultiEquip glitch, he was unbeatable, able to beat Dark Falz's final form in 3 hits on Ultimate. This was all before he got CORRUPTED!!! Now my best guy is a HUmar named Exodus.

I think Enzan_Blues posts in these threads when's got no idea what it's about is probably to raise post count or something, in my opinion.

I'm sorry to hear that your character got corrupted, my Rockman Neo character got that once too, but it was my own fault.

Once, for getting new space on my old 59 Mem card, I deleted the Guild Card file and for some reason, ALL the other PSO files deleted themselves. So I got ticked that I had to start over. But at the time, my old Rockman Neo was only level 15 with a Heat Brand+12.

Now, I don't really care about that old one, since my newer Rockman Neo is like... Level 67 with Aiko's Frying Pan. I have a Flowen's Sword, but I CAN NOT USE IT!!! :grr:

Anyone know how it's possible to get it usable without making another character and leveling them up?

Eh, I'm thinking about buying the GC version again. How much space does it take on a Memory Card? I'm running out of space and I was wondering if it could fit on that or if I should buy a new one.

I have a level 113 HUcaseal named Shade, she uses the Delsaber's Buster and the Shield of Delsaber. I haven't been using her reciently though. I've been trying to level up my Force, Sketch. He's level 37 and he uses the Hildebear's Cane with a God/Mind and three Angel/Mind's. I really wanted a force who could use all the stupid canes I kept finding with Shade, he Pinkal ID is great for forces...but Shade isn't a Force so they were useless. XD

I had no idea that the ID made a difference in the character. Mine's Oran for Rockman Neo.

What do the IDs do?

Your ID determines your item frequency.

The best ID for a Hunter is Skyly, it finds some of the best swords. I have a HUcast named Armada, he's a Skyly.

Pinkal is the best for canes, but sadly I don't know what the best is for guns...I think it's Viridria? .-.

For rifles, it's Greenill, if I'm not mistaken. Viridia is for Shots. Mechguns is Purplenum.

Yeah, Section ID's determine the rare items you get, and the Mags you can raise.. Each is tailored to a specific weapon (Oran nets you more daggers, Pinkal is good for wands and very high level techniques).

I used to play on the Dreamcast and had a level 75 RAcaseal named Yolei, a Purplenum. I really want Blue Burst, but I'm kind of on the fence about it....cost, mainly.

Yeah i forgot if the id section also varables special types of baisc weapons like i got a gold text Berserk Vulcan +3 and im Puplnum(or how you spell it) I'm wondering if other id's can get these gold text weapons?

Ah, the normal rare. I call those Normal Rare Weapons. Their star count is high enough to be considered rare items even though they're normal items, I only keep them because I can't stand to throw away a rare~ I have tons of them with Shade.

It's been a while since I played, but do the grinders (add +1, +2, or +3 to your weapon) affect rarity? I'm presuming you can grind one's weapon to a rare.

Section IDs:

Viridia: get more Shot weapons
Greenill: get more Rifles
Skyly: get more Swords
Bluefull: get more Partisans
Purplenum: get more Mechguns
Pinkal: get more Wands and high-level technique disks (is it still true that people with this ID are the only people who can get level 30 Ra-techniques, Grants and Megid?)
Redria: get more armor (shields, barriers, frames, etc.)
Oran: get more Daggers
Yellowboze: get more Meseta
Whitill: get more Slicers

Skyly and Bluefull are generally recommended for Hunters.
Viridia, Greenill, and Purplenum are generally recommended for Rangers (I personally prefer Greenill for the Rifles).
Pinkal and Redria are generally recommended for Forces.

I think Redria and Yellowboze are considered the universal IDs for anyone, from what I've seen.
