Best VG title screen?

Anything that appears before the title screen or after waiting awhile on the title screen counts. The title screen itself counts as well.

I'd say Kuniokun no Nekketsu Soccer League for the NES because it's interactive.

Well, although I tad biased when it comes to video games, one could argue Kirby Super Star's opening was pretty damn cool...
You know, where he flies around on that warp star... it was pretty 3D for SNES' time.

I liked Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire's opening... it was a pretty neat set of animations...

Out of the Rockman EXE games, 2 was my favourite. RE2's title music is my favourite out of them all... I don't like the theme used for 4 and 5 >_o

No, but seriously, the first one that comes to mind is Metroid Prime's (never played the second one). Man, that title screen and the menus after it are... definite eye-candy.

Another one that was cool for it's interactivity was Mario Paint's. I used to get lost in playing with the effects of the letters.

Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. Also, I love the music that plays in the background of Final Fantasy X-2s' title screen. But even better:Pokemon Red, Gold, Silver, Ruby, And Sapphires' titles.

Thew Ocarina of Time, Metroid Prime 1 and 2. I also thoroughly enjoyed LoZ Wind Waker. The island scene was quite pretty.

Pretty basic, but I really enjoyed Super Metroid's title theme. Where they play that kinda creepy music while they slowly move around that one room in Ceres station, then they fade out and show the Metroid in the jar thingy and SUPER METROID shows big on the screen. Very cool. Gets the mood of the game goin, before you even start playing.

I also enjoy... well I don't suppose it REALLY counts, but the opening scene to MegaMan Legends two that's played BEFORE the title screen. So very soap-ish. My Mistress's entrance was a tad over-dramatic. But very cool all the same.

And for what it was worth, the intro text read in MegaMan Legends one, I found interesting for some reason. For some reason a lotta people hate it though.

hm...MMBN2, Metriod Prime Hunters [First Hunt]*demo* for DS, Starwars Rouge Squadron 3 (all the starwars characters were dancing to a Disco Starwars theme *lol*), OH and LORD OF THE RINGS: The return of the king! OMg that Intro was freakin AWSOME!

hm..Oh yeah, Final Fantasy Tactics advance (very good intro and music), Golden Sun, Fire Emblem(GBA). wooo good stuff.

oh yeah! One more: Kirby Canvas Curse *lol* I hate to say it...but it was...um....*sigh* Kawaii.... >_<

I'm a bit biased when it comes to that. Simply put, mostly any fighting game. Dynasty Warriors, King of Fighters, Virtual On, Tech Romancer, etc...

Oh, and I like Rockman DASH 1's intro as well. There's another one like that, but I can't remember the exact title. Was it Dual Hearts? Anyway, any intro with a narrator.
