I'm inSANELY bored right now sice it's summer, so I'll take almost any request I'm given. Please oh PLEASE post a picture of reference for the sprite. I doen't even have to be that good, I just need something to base it off of. Remember that I'm not too good at it, and I don't really do much to a sprite, but I have plenty of time so it should be good.

Rules

#1: Character can't have too much crap on him. E.G. pocket watches, chains, etc. He can have one or two, but not 100

#2: I would perfer if the character isn't bulky or just plain big. It's a pain in the a** to add on mass.

#3: In case you're stupid, all sprites will be based off of Bass, Megaman, Protoman, or any of the more humanoid characters. I will use .exe or something if asked, but otherwise I WILL use megaman sprites. No exceptions. Ms paint just can't edit Streetfighter sprites.

Did you ask Core or myself if you could set up a request thread? If you read the rules for the Spriter's Lab, you would have seen that you must ask a Spriter's Lab moderator if you may set up a request thread.

Until you do so, this will be locked.

Follow up: He PMed me and asked, this thread is okay now.

I've started on one request that I got in a PM, tell me what you guys think. Mind you, I've NEVER done any Battle Network sprites at all.

Looks interesting, but it doesn't feel like the Battle Network style somehow. Add a bit more shading and less pure-color areas, I'd say. Were you taking the request from Zero Ray X?

DAMMIT! SHUT UP ABOUT MY SHADING JENOVA!

....But, yeah, my sprites usually do need it.

EDIT:Yes, I am taking it for Zero ray. Sucks becuse I got my computer taken away, which means I cna't work on the sprites. : (

You guys hurt my feelings... But, yeah, I know it needs shading. I seem to neglect it when making sprites. A lot of times I try to, but it doesn't really change anything.

No one has said anything with the intent of hurting your feelings. It's not as though people are saying "THAT SUCKS. IT'S THE WORST SPRITE EVAR". There tellin you how to improve it. So get over it and improve it. Razz

If you shade and it doesn't help any, maybe you need to use more contrast.

When making jokes online you have to make it more clear that it is indeed a joke and not a comment. That is one of the things about the internet, you don't have a tone of voice or facial expressions for people to hear and see to clearly tell that it is a joke. If you type something that is a joke, and reread it from point of view of another person you might find that your joke could be taken seriously. That is when you add to it or just below that you were joking or put an icon on there that would allow people to tell more clearly that it was a joke.

If you are not the author of a thread you can not post sprites in it, please remove the sprite from your post Zero Ray X. You may only post your work in someone else's thread if they ask you to do so, and I do not see such permission being given to you. Also if you are going to modify someone else's sprite you have to have their permission to do so, other wise I will count is as art theft and respond to it accordingly.
