Good News: The rumors have been confirmed, and now we know that Dash 1 IS coming out...
Bad News: ...on PSP -.- That doesn't make any sense! If they're aimed audience were Nintendo players, and thus released MMBN5: DT on the DS, then why would they release this game on the OTHER system!?
I can only hope it comes out on DS as well eventually -.- |

Because it was originally for the PSX, perhaps?
I'll just continue to use my PSX copy. No need for a PSP. _________________ (\ ºvº\ (\

Heh. Yeah, MegaMan Legends was originally a Playstation release. A few years later, they put it on the N64 and PC, but :/ those versions were both pretty lacking.
There's really no chance that this would make it on the DS unfortunately. Capcom has already announced the THREE games it's going to put on the DS this business year(Twin Leaders, Viewtiful Joe DS, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attourney or something like that). It could be a surprise release, I guess, but at this point, that's doubtful.
I will be buying a PSP now, JUST for this game(and for the potential re-release of MegaMan Legends 2 on the PSP somewhere down the road). ...but I'm probably gunna wait a while, till I know 100% for sure that it won't be on the DS. _________________ I think it's time to say goodbye. |

Maybe because Mega Man isn't only aimed towards Nintendo players, did you ever think of that? probably not. Besides, Dash is their Sony series, Mega Mon and Zero are their nintendo series, it's so obvious a braindead monkey could figure it out. _________________ Here's lookin' at you kid. |

And they learned their lesson. They went back to the Super Famicom for Rockman & Forte, and were able to keep the PSX-style graphics. _________________ (\ ºvº\ (\

I may be way off, but I think by "Mega Mon" he meant Battle Network.
I guess you could say that classic Rockman is Nintendo's though(even though any gamer can play it on Anniversary Collection).
DASH is the result of Sony demanding a 3D game. So yeah, you could say it's their series. Still seems unwise to release it on only one portable though, if they want it to do well. Ah well. I'm still buyin a PSP just for this game. :D unless they say otherwise anyway... _________________ I think it's time to say goodbye. |

I already have MML1 on PS1 since its release way back when. *cracks his neck, back, knuckles and wrists* I'll pass on the PSP release since A) I already have it and B) the halving of the L/R buttons kinda hurt MML's original control scheme. It'd be interesting to see if they include analog stick support in this PSP version. Those who don't have MML1-PS1 should be told that the game didn't support analog sticks.
It's the *other* PSP port I'm interested in: Breath of Fire III. :D Sadly it means I can't use the gameshark for it. T_T
For both ports I do wonder what still remain untouched and what will get the 'PSP' treatment. _________________ The glitched navi that likes to randomly baleet others. =3 |

It would be easy to work around the shoulder button issue. They could use L and R for strafing left and right. L+R to Lock On. And then use the Analog stick to look around. Problem solved.
I already own this game too, but I've wanted to play it portably since... well since I played it regular. _________________ I think it's time to say goodbye. |

I'm guessing they'd have you hold one button and press a direction to strafe while the other shoulder button locks on. Either way, it's not like the lock-on system in that game was helpful. |

Yeah, but then L and R become strafing buttons. They basically do what Left and Right do before you switch the settings. _________________ I think it's time to say goodbye. |

I already own a PSP, im just glad to see a Megaman game will be released for it, I can only hope that it gets ported to the US, i'll like to play Megaman Legends on the go.....maybe Capcom might be planning a Legends/DASH comeback, maybe possibly make a Legends 3 for PSP...maybe....or PS2/3, who knows _________________ -Follow me on Twitch.tv-

Sigh* besides useing the analog or the d-pad for looking, the controls can be identicle (cant spell) to the MML1 controls without a problem. |
