It depends on what day you catch me on. lol I usually go with Trigger though. Its part of my name after all! Hehe. I used to go by the name Rockman Trigger on another board actually. Then EXE came along and I loved it. I haven't played MML in a while. Mostly because there haven't been any new games released. Most of the Megaman merch on my desk table at home are from EXE, but thats because there has been so much of it released recently and its just been in my head. Its pretty much tied at this point, which is why I have a Trigger navi icon. ^_^ _________________ Power wielded by incompetance leads to nothing but self destruction. |

Yeah I agree with that. Though I like X6, it was the beginning of a crappy X series. And unfortunately, if Classic Rockman reammed X, he'd just get reammed back harder by X.

Yeah, my favorite Rockman used to vary, depending on what I was in the mood for. And I should have known you avatar was an .EXE version of rockman Trigger. Until now, I always thought it was just some sort of scuba diver. |

Definitely the Battle Network series for me. It's what got me into the fandom, after all.

Battle network's my favorite since I've played more games from it and I know it and the characters better than the other four series. But after that it's X than Zero and finally a tie for last with Classic and DASH since I've unfortunately never played them |

I hail to the four chapters of the Crimson God of Destruction, Zero.
I like all other series equally below Zero.
I really liked my first playthrough back in 2002... facing CopyX for the first time, not being able where the story was, since it was japanese, kicking CopyX's butt, and seeing him evolve into this majestic Seraphim being, yes, truly beautifull. and the overall godlike voice cast is unequalled.
Still the only Imperfections i've found in the series are the facts that there is no TRUE ultimate mode in part 2, and that UM in part 4 is absolutely worthles... other than that, it's perfect.
oh almost forgot, the beautifull fact of Mission ranking, where I can say...
I am a true God ^^ (stating the codename) the only aggravating thing about getting 100 points on ALL 64 stages(Zero1~4) is the tremendously LOW amount of damage you are allowed to take, in part 1 a mere 3!!!!!!
part 2 had 5, part 3 had 6, and part 4 has 10, personally I think, they should all have been 6 or 8, to make it more balanced...but ahh...
and ofcourse Elpis, you can't deny that pink bastard! he rules you ^^ _________________ -'MOTTO CHIKARAWO~!!-

The X series is my favourite. The character design is excellent. I love the detail put into the armor and weapons. I also love Command Mission to pieces; awesome gameplay and design. Furthermore, the Mavericks are original; only Capcom could pull off villians like Optic Sunflower and Duff McWhalen. I just love the X series to bits, and I can't wait for X collection to come out in North America.

Tie between X and EXE for me.
X should have ended at X5 since right now, everything's reduced to a bragging contest, which is also on the same reason why I don't like Rockman Zero on the same level. Aqua Rock X said it best. X6 just marked the beginning of a crappy X series.
EXE: Should stick with one version of the game period. _________________ KOTOR 2 is the Enter The Matrix of all Star Wars Games. That is: Rushed badly, heavily glitched. Blame it on LucasArts

X nad EXE for me. The classics were pretty fun, particularly Rockman and Forte and Megaman 8. EXE and X though. Judging by the amount of people who like Legends maybe I should try that series. _________________

DOES THE TITLE OF THIS THREAD *HAVE* TO BE IN CAPITALS?
*Ahem*
EXE is my favorite, followed by X, DASH, Classic and Zero.
EXE has many character designs that I love, a somewhat well developed storyline and lots of extras in each game. Rockman.EXE is and probably will always be my favorite design out of any Rockman.
X started out as basically the same as the classic series, but with little extras tacked on here and there. Wall clinging, dashing, armor... I like the darker tone of the X series because it really gives the feeling that the world really is in danger from whatever it is that's supposedly threatening it.
DASH is plain fun. 3-D Rockman runs around and blasts things with different arms = one hell of a good time. If Capcom had run with this series a little more, it might have ousted X for my number 2 slot.
Classic is the classic, the original Rockman, silly NES storylines and all. Though the games get aggrivating in some places, people keep playing and replaying. The sheer difficulty of the early Rockman games, as well as the interesting and sometimes almost joke-y Robot Master designs make them worth playing. Classic comes fourth for me not because I hate it, but more because I enjoy the other series more.
Zero is the new kid in town. First Rockman who really isn't a Rockman in the traditional sense. Outfitted with various weapons and random hack and slash action... It's an okay series and I do enjoy it, but so far it hasn't been able to stand out from its' bigger - and frankly better - older brothers. _________________

Like MSZ and Aqua Rock I like the origional and X series the best. Origonal because of it's creative and diverse character designs and X because it was the first series I ever played (although it has creative and diverse character designs as well). I also like them because they're both sidescrollers and were pretty challenging when I first played them. I also think these two series have the best pieces of music out of all the Rockman series. Finally, I like the sort of nostalgic air I get from playing the origional and X games (with the X series it's mainly the first 4 games).
I also like the Zero series because of the storyline and because it has some of the best music.
I do agree with Aqua Rock's statement about X becoming too much of a pansy. They need to make him like he was in X1-X6 again, slightly hesitant but willing to do the job.

Either X, BN, or Zero. They all are fun, but if I had to choose 1 it would be BN because they bosses ae fun to fight and the battle system is easy to learn.

My favorite series are X, EXE, and, of course, Zero. Mostly, X because of its difficulty and dark storyline. But, it was great until X6 (still good, but...it's missing something) 'till X7 (CM & X8 is good :]). They do need to develop X's character though. -_-; The Zero series is the same as X. :V
EXE, oddly, had a lot more fun to offer than any of other Rockman series (maybe DASH/Legends, but I'm not sure). It offered a lot of freedom and it's an RPG! ^_^ _________________
