Magnetman copy or the same guy **spoilers at your own risk**

When you reach the magnetman scenario in BN5, magnetman doesnt recognise you. Then at the 3 cannons at the entrance of Oran 3, Protoman says:"Ah, you are gospels navi, magnetman".
So is he the real magnetman or not?

A: Magnetman has amnesia, but is the real magnetman
B: He is a copy, protoman asumed he was the real magnetman
C: Magnetman is pretending he doesnt know megaman.
D: Your theory

Oh my goodness.... what made you assume that Magnetman's a fraud? Blues mentioned that he's an ex-Gospel navi.
Bottom line: he's the same guy.

He is still a navi of that old man except in possesion of his daughter. I like the way he agreed to be in the team because of the way the lady was asking him. :D Laughing

My guess would be that Tesla erased his memory to get rid of him knowing that he was once evil. Or something along those lines.

I kinda agree with the memory-deleted thing..in Stream, Magenetman agrees to be Tesla's navi, so they might have completely disowned Gauss in the game. o.o

They must have changed something, because in the Japanese version, Magnet Man still had a dislike for Rock from the events in BN 2...

The only EXE 5 character who has the potential to be a copy is Napalm

No, Magnetman still has all his memories in EXE5. When MM arrives, he just says "Who's there?" or something like that because he's being taken by surprise. In other words he just hasn't gotten a good enough look at MM yet at that point. You can't expect him to recognise him right off the bat.

MM: Magnetman!
Mags: Um...no, I'M Magnetman, genius.

Well, I made the last line up, but there it is. Magnetman doesn't say anything else in the scene until Tesla orders him to fight. That's the only line Magnetman has that indicates he may have lost his memory. All the resentment he has towards the good guys throughout the game remains. The translators likely just misinterpreted a the line which should have read "Who's there!"

On the other side of the BN5 world, Was there any explaination to why Princess Pride is good now? How can killing at least two people, making Raoul into a crispy critter and making Lan give up the awesome wireless..
If I were him I would have thrown her Gospel-employed butt right into the drill.

What the heck are you guys talking about? MagnetMan never once made the implication that he wasn't the same guy or had lost his memory. He's constantly referred by Lan and MegaMan, among others, as an "ex-Gospel navi," and MagnetMan is constantly expressing his disgust to work with MegaMan. I'm not sure what you guys are reading...

Jennifer, the black chick, comes back for the N1 in EXE3 as well. I remember a lot of people thought Princess Pride herself died for some reason. Apparently Lan falling through a trap door and surviving the fall is all well and good, but when Pride does it, it just doesn't make sense.

Why do some people prefer to believe the EXE series is full of bloody, brutal death? I mean come on, it's a kids' game!
