I was talking about in BN 2, when Lan, Chaud and Raoul were at that meeting in the castle, it was a trap, and Raoul did survive, Pride faked her own death, and when Chaud notice only he and Lan hadn't been attacked, he accused Lan of being the Gospel agent, Then Lan beats Pride in net battle. I only got up to freezeman in BN 2 so im not sure if it was later reveiled if the others survived or not. And I remember clearly Lan said "Da-- It to He--!" When the second of the group was "Killed". Not saying this isn't a kids game, but that's pretty out of line for Capcom.

Not really she is just good and friendly now with no apparant explaination other than they fact that she was good to begin with in the anime and manga and the game just went with that instead.

Pride was led to believe that Gospel could help her with something (don't remember what exactly, but it involves her kingdom), so even to Knightman's dismay, she continued to work with the evil Gospel for the sake of her kingdom.

In EXE5, she wants to make up for what she did and she comes to Netto to help him fight against Nebula. Yes, it's as cut-and-dry as that, but it works.

For the record, and I'm pretty sure it was cleared up in this topic already... Pride didn't kill anyone.

I believe Pride wanted Technology because her kingdom was the first place to get such technilogical wonders...then everyone caught up and went beyond them? That's what's sticking out in my mind about her sob story.

Edit: Yes, I was correct. Here is that part from the EXE2 script.

Enzan: I heard a story once... Creamland was one of the first countries
to get on the Net. That's how that tiny country go so powerful so fast. But
soon after, the big countries caught up to Creamland. Creamland was just in

She was also told that destroying the Officials would be for the good of Creamland.

Bottom line: The villians are much cooler than the heroes so Capcom made some crap story so you could play as them. Crappy and insubstantial, but hey, the villians (or ex-villians now) kick ass. Laughing
