Something i've been wondering. Why is it that the DS even has bottons??? So far all of the games i've played only require the start botton and the touch screen. |

While yes there are games like Yoshi Touch and Go in which you can basically get through using the Touch Screen and Microphone - which by the way, this game is hellishly hard to play in a van with the air conditioning on, there are other games that have various uses for it.
For instance in the Metroid Prime Hunters demo, in Standard Stylus Mode, the ABXY buttons are also directional control, so that Left handed people can play too. In Spiderman two and Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith they're used for attacks. In the Urbz: Sims in the City, they do a multitude of things. Those're the only DS games I've played so far. There's much more though.
Yes, Nintendo seems to be focussing a lot on using the Touch Screen, but the ABXY buttons are FAR from obsolete. _________________ I think it's time to say goodbye. |

Also, how would we control the upper screen? Sure, they could use the touch screen as a control system, but then we would probably never see a game that utilizes both screens in a decent manner. _________________ Greatness is achieved through the pursuit of greatness. |

I think Band Bros, if I'm not mistaken, uses both screens... pretty well... qand with buttons and the touch screen...

unless you all want to shoot me, but EXE5 DS is going to use the buttons and the touch pad, Ridge Racer DS, Urbz, and stated before Mario uses the buttons too.

Or, if you are patient, just wait for Castlevania DS and Viewtiful Joe DS.
Those are the games I am waiting for, especially Castlevania. Even till now, Soma was the coolest Cv character (besides Alucard) and the DS game allows him to be playable again. And what's funny, the game may be 2D graphics, but it reminds me of Guilty Gear X2:Sharp Reload's graphics. All in all, it looks like an amazing game.
About Viewtiful Joe DS? I don't have to say anything, IT'S FRIGGIN' VIEWTIFUL!!!! |

You also need the stylus for Kirby: Canvas Curse (which is better than yoshi IMO) | No, it doesn't. It has Melissa, which is only in the Japanese version. Jam with the Band will most likely have Ashlee Simpson in it or something.

You don't have to use the touch screen when you play the Pro level. But still, this game make good use of the touch screen in the music creation part.
(WHAT you play Ready Steady GO O_O?! The Pokemon Medley (especially Flute) drives me crazy already>_<) _________________
