Death Path

A/N: this Fan fiction is all Megaman, with some Shaman King characters, so I guess it’s a crossover isn’t it. >_<

Chapter: 1 A great loss
Disclaimer: I don’t own Megaman nor Shaman King ( and I should get a life… nah >-<).

A/N: Sup everyone! This is Mabi_chan saying konnechiwah and welcome to my first Fanfic! I must admit this is pretty fun. Usually I hate writing, but it’s about some of my favorite stuff ( ex: Rockman ) and I get to do my own plots, yay, enjoy the Fanfic, it’s killer! No really… it is. ^-^

Hikari Netto walked glumly down the stairs of his house in ACDC town in DenTech City. He sat down at the kitchen table to eat breakfast, but certainly could not. For he was to depressed to eat a single bite, for he could not get a certain event out of his mind.
“Netto, you alright?” Rockman asked as he sat up Netto’s Schedule for the day. On the list of things to do was to go see Superintendent Oda and Chief Kefir at the hospital. Rockman stared at the errand glumly. “Oh Netto, there’s something here saying that you need to see Superintendent Oda at the hospital.” Rockman said.
Netto grasped his PET, saying nothing, and turned off it’s communication link. This was a bad sign, because Netto would never turn off his communication link.
“ Netto, you turned off the communication link, why?” asked Dr. Hikari as he looked up from the newspaper. Netto scanned the headline, which read:
“13 year old police ace dies in hospital
Netnavi disappears”
Netto’s eyes grew glossy, he buried his head and sobbed.
“ So, Blues is gone too?” Lan muttered in his arms.
“ Netto…” Mrs. Hikari somberly started as she cooked lunch, “ Why don’t you go to school and, you know, put your mind on other things.”
“ Alright, I’ll go.” Netto stated as he lifted his backpack on his shoulders and walked out the door towards school.

“ Did you hear?!” asked Meiru.
“ Sure did, poor guy!” answered Denskue.
“ I don’t care if they where trying to put me out of business, what ever someone did to Enzan was horrible!” stated Yaito from across the room.
“ Whoa, all so fast, one unfortunate event after another!” stated Roll from her PET.
“ Yeah, guts, guts!” shouted Gutsman
“ I haven’t seen Blues either.” said Glide.
The class seemed like they would kill the next person who walked into the classroom. Netto walked towards the room and slid the door open and sat down at his desk. The room grew as silent a graveyard at midnight.
“ Netto, are you okay? You seem sad.” Meiru asked somberly.
Netto was silent for a moment, but when he went to speak, the P.A. brusted to life, “ Would Hikari Netto come to the main office!” shouted the announcer from the other side of the mike. Netto stood up from his desk and went down the hall. Netto decided to turn on his communication link back on so that Rockman could hear what was going on. When the communication link came on, Rockman did not say a word.
Netto arrived at the door of the main office and went to the secretary’s desk.
“ Excuse me I’m HIkari Netto.” Netto said to the secretary .
“ Ah yes, you’re needed in Mr. Carmen’s office.” answered the secretary.
“ Thanks.” Netto as he turned to Mr. Carmen’s office. There, Dr. Hikari was present.
“ Ah, good morning, Netto!” Mr. Carmen said as Netto walked into his office.
“ Morning Mr. Carmen,” Netto answered, “ Morning Dad.”
“ Morning,” answered Dr. Hikari, “ you felling better son?”
“ No, I’m still getting over my grief.” Netto answered depressingly.
“ Oh yes… your loss … I’m sorry.” remarked Mr. Carmen
“ It’s very troubling I know Netto,” started Dr. Hikari, “ but, you need to focus on the present, Mr. Oda and Chief Kefir want you to fill Enzan’s post.”
Netto’s head jerked up from it’s loomed stance, “ What!” Netto yelled.
“ Yep,” said Mr. Carmen, “they want you to look for the person who killed Enzan.”
Netto’s face turned white. He sunk to the ground, “ Enzan… was murdered?”
“ Yes,” started Dr. Hikari, “ apparently they found him shot in the chest…four times, but they left and when they came back, the body was gone.”
Netto’s eyes grew glossy, “ But, Enzan was sick… I saw him yesterday…”

Start flashback…

“ It’s been a long night, eh Enzan?” Netto stated as he and Enzan walked down Beach St.
“ Yes,” Enzan started. They had been looking for a WWW member for the longest time. A few minutes ago Laika called saying he found him, “ I sure hope Laika didn’t," he coughed, "bring us out here for," he coughed agian, "nothing.” Enzan finished then had a cough attack. This was taking tolls on Enzan. He had a fever of 101 degrees and felt very weak, and every now and then he would see some guy that looked like he would know Kung-fu or something.
Netto rushed to Enzan’s side and helped him to a near-by bench, “ you know Enzan,” Netto started “ you should really go home, I’ll find the guy!”
“ Netto,” Enzan started, “ Mom and Dad Don’t care for us.”
“ What are you talking about when you say ‘us’? you lose a sister, cousin or something?” Netto asked as he pulled out a blanket.
“ Never Mind what I said… she lives in Sharo,” Enzan looked out to the ocean, “ you know what Netto?”
“ What?” Netto said as he gave Enzan the blanket. Enzan took it and wrapped it around himself, after that he took out a blue and silver bracelet and fiddled with it in his fingers.
“ Have you ever lost someone extremely special to you?” Enzan asked as he took a charm and put it on the bracelet, “ Well, do you? Do you know what it is like to lose the dearest person in your life?”
“ Yeah, I know how it feels, my brother died at the age of one because of HBD, anyways, you said ‘ she lives in Sharo’ but, Laika lives there right?” Netto asked as he looked at the city, “ Enzan?” Netto began to asked but, Enzan did not answered. Lan turned around to see Enzan past out on his shoulder. “Enzan!” Netto yelled as he lift Enzan over his shoulders, “ I have to get you to the hospital! Rockman! Tell Blues what happened!” Netto yelled as he rushed down to the hospital.
“ Alright!” Rockman answered, “ Blues! Where are you!”
“ Yeah, Rockman? What is it!?” Blues asked as he scanned the Beach Area for anything weird or distorted in the area from his visor, “ Well? What’s wrong?”
“ It’s Enzan! He’s past out because he was very sick!” Rockman told Blues.
“ What! Enzan’s sick!” Blues shouted.
“ Yes! He had a-” Rockman stopped and saw something no regular Netnavi could do.
Blues was crying.
“ Blues? You ok?” Rockman asked he walked up beside Blues. Blues gave him a nasty glare and ran off towards the Undernet.
“ Blues!” Rockman yelled. Suddenly a swarm of viruses blocked the path.
“ The master shall be left alone.” said one of the viruses.

Netto reached the hospital. Once he got in the nurse on duty and asked what was the problem. “ Me and him where looking for some one when he suddenly past out!”
“ Oh no!” said the Nurse.

End flashback.

Netto picked up the bracelet and PET out of his pocket. The PET was out of commission, and Blues was missing. Suddenly he felt a presence in the room and got a chill up his spine. “ I’ll take the job!” Netto said suddenly.
“ good then get going.” said Mr. Carmen.
Netto rushed out the door of the school. Suddenly he ran into a kid about his age. As Netto turned to see who he hit, he saw a familiar white and black hair style.

I'll review this but I'm not gonna be gentle.

Okay first of all, use english names or japanese names a mixture of both cunfuses some people and makes it difficult to know who you're talking about to others.

Now, instead of saying *cough* how about Enzan coughed, or better yet, "Enzan coughed harshly" something like that.

The plot is okay and Netto is OOC but I figure since Enzan just died that a pretty good excuse, still, try not to make him to angsty, because as we've seen, even when Rockman was deleted he tried to be happy. It's a difficult thing to write when a charachter is suppoused to be OOC and having too much or too litte, this was actually not that bad.

And now I shall leave you to your own devices, not a bad fic considering. /o/ Keep it up :3

Yay! another chapter typed!

Chapter 2: Mabi, Enzan’s twin

Disclaimer: I do not own Rockman or Shaman King.

“ Enzan?!” Netto shouted as he walked up to the person, “ Enzan! I still have your stuff!” Netto held up the PET and bracelet. The kid turned around and face dropped.
“ Hey! You’re a… girl… Your not Enzan!” Rockman yelled from his PET.
The girl had on a long, green jacket with brown cuffs on the ends on the sleeves and red around the neck and a quarter way down the opening of the jacket. On the end of the red was a sign. The outer rim was shaped like a shield. In the center was a golden bird of some sort. On the right sleeve was a red brace around the upper part of the arm. It had searchman’s symbol on it, meaning this person knows Laika way to well.
Underneath the jacket was a green shirt with a long end so it falls like a skirt. Underneath the shirt where black caperi pants, with brown boots.
She had long white hair with black underneath, like Enzan’s.
“ What are you talking about I’m his twin sister.” softly said the girl as she looked at the PET and bracelet. “ Hey! Where did you get that! That’s my brother’s give me!” she shouted as she tried to get the stuff. Netto’s face dropped.
“ Oh my God! Your Enzan’s TWIN sister!” Netto yelled as he held the bracelet up higher.
“ Yes, my name’s Mabi!” she yelled as she tried the get the bracelet from Netto. “ I came because he wants to see you!”
Netto stopped dead, and Mabi was able to get Enzan’s stuff. “ What did you say!”
Mabi took off her jacket to revel prayer beads and a locket. “ I’m a ‘Itako’ and I can channel spirits.” She started to rub the prayer beads together and suddenly flames popped out of nowhere. The formed a person.
Netto’s eyes grew big, “ E-Enzan?!”
Mabi stopped and looked up, “ Hey! I did it! Enzan! Brother can you hear me!?”
The person looked up and indeed it was Enzan’s spirit, “ Yes Mabi, I can hear you.”
Netto’s face was a horrified mess, “ ENZAN!” Netto yelled again.
“ Gezz Netto, is that all your going to say?” Enzan answered while he getting use to Mabi’s ’help’.
Netto broke away from the reunion and picked up a picture, “ Hey Mabi! You dropped this!” Netto said as he turned the picture over. There on the front was Mabi with two boys behind her. One looked like Laika, and the other had on baggy black pants with a green shirt and holding up a peace sign. They were all happy and at some theme park. “ Uh… is that who I think it is ?” Netto asked Mabi as she and Enzan came over.
“ Um… which one? Laika or Hiro ?” Mabi asked as she snatched the picture away from Netto.
“ That b***h Laika! He’s your brother too?!” Netto yelled.
“ No! he’s her legal guardian!” Enzan said, “ She told me about him a while ago, I agree about the whole intellect thing…”
“ What! You saying I’m stupid too!” Netto yelled.
“ No, no, not that, I’m talking about that you don’t have to use only cross- fusion to beat darkloids.” Enzan answered surprisingly.
“ Oh… sorry,” Netto said, “ so, Mabi, I haven’t seen your Netnavi, can I see it?”
“ I kinda don’t have one, nor a PET. In Sharo, only people who can show that they’re strong in mind and strength equally can use them, others have to do it by hand.” Mabi said as she looked at the picture. “ The only people in my foster family that can have a navi are Laika and Hiro.” Mabi looked more closely at Laika, “ Back then, he seemed so care free, but ever since he got that blasted Searchman, he’s been so stuck up.”
Enzan floated over to Mabi and tried to hug her, but his hands passed right through her.
“ And why do you have a picture of Enzan and Blues?” Netto asked looking at a golden locket he picked up.
“ Netto! Stop taking my stuff!… I kinda forgot what they looked like, tch” Mabi yelled as she snatched the golden locket away. Mabi put it around her neck with her prayer beads.
“ Hey! Whacta know! A family quarrel! I never see these!” shouted someone from a distance.
Mabi turned to see a ghost of a samurai.
“ Ah… hi… who are you?” Mabi asked shyly.
“ My name’s Amidimaru.” the ghost said, “ and that is Lord Yoh.”
“ Hiya! Is that your personal ghost?” Yoh asked as he jumped off the wall.
“ Huh?!” Mabi asked.
