Bleh...you all can't settle over one thing, for crying out loud...we're only human. And no one source is perfect as one migh think. It's a damn game, not a lesson in history. e_e

In this sense if he was YamatoDamashiman, then the whole thing about him being named after an era would be correct, however he's just Yamatoman, which is just a refrence to an Ancient Japan prefecture, If he was called GreatYamatoman, he'd be named after Japan as a whole. Case Closed.

Some people will call him Yamatoman.

Who knows why they translated it that way? Not us. Call up Capcom.
