Hello, Im a bit confused..

I played EXE5, and Barrel has this role as Colonels Operator...

I started watching Rockman EXE Stream and Noticed that hes and Old man that Dies!? Whats going on here?

In EXE5 hes young and remains alive... If hes old and dies in Stream Tell me..But if theres a twist..dont spoil it for me, THANKS!

We can use this thread to talk about Colonel and Barrel if you guys like..or is there another thread like this?

The anime is based loosely off of the game, and both of them follow different plotlines.

Yep. Just because Barrel does one thing in the games doesn't mean he has to do the same in the anime. Look at Anetta. In the games, she's a New WWW member who works at a hospital as a nurse and who operates Plantman. In the anime, she has been IN the hospital for a while from an injury and has a nurse-type navi named Silk... and Plantman was an operator-less evil Darkloid... and then an evil Asteroid operated by a vegetable-hating elementary kid named Mameo that no one likes.

the game and the anime dont go on the same story line. Now they do show Berral when he was younger in Episode 32 of Rockman.Exe

Woah! Really!? NOW THATS A RADICAL CHANGE! I mean Anetta wasnt that big of a deal..but Barrel an Old man..THAT DIES!? In the Game hes Young and Talks with you and Stuff!!

Man..The Anime Sure is way different and crazier than I thought! Razz

they Show when he was "younger" you say? Man..how Bizzare this plot theyve made..Oh well, atleast hes alive in the Games.

The Barrel in present time dies, yes, but the Barrel in the past is (obviously) the younger version that is also in the games. He (the younger one) has a large role in the movie and probably operates Colonel when he has to save Rock's behind again.

I also have a different question I was keeping to myself, in stream ep 2 the old barrel has a damaged PROGRESS PET how DID he get a progress PET before netto and enzan?!

Barrel has been time travelling. He's probably dipped his toes a lot into the past and future. He had a Progress PET in the past, too. It's as simple as he travelled through time and got one when they were made, and then went back into the past with it.

No Rockman.Exe, it's not a 'doh!'.

They even took the trouble of making an attachment to make the Progress PET work with old cable plug-in ports. They didn't 'accidently' made that thing. Now, if he was able to plug-in with infrared beams into a cable port, that would be a mistake.[/spoil:6923b88d6a]

What I don't like is how they go to the trouble to [spoil:440b6788e5]give Barrel an attachment so he can plug-in to the old cable-based plug-in ports back when they used the PETs from EXE3... yet they can't give Enzan the original PET he SHOULD have had in the flashback when he was a child... or have given Netto the PET he DID have when they did a flashback of him battling Raoul, which we actually saw when it happened...[/spoil:440b6788e5]

I mean... [spoil:440b6788e5]At the very beginning of Axess, they showed that "Plug-in your heart" commercial with Enzan advertising the "BRAND NEW" PET Advance model, yet they then wrote it in as if the PET Advance was the first PET ever and has always been around. Is there some kind of bizarre copyright issue that's preventing them from just drawing a friggin original Plug-In PET for a 10 second flashback shot? Honestly...[/spoil:440b6788e5]

It's mostly about the advertising issue. I'd they don't show the latest model PET, ALL THE TIME, then apparantly the kids won't buy.

But they don't always show the latest model. In Stream a few characters had the Axess one. It was rare but the latest model wasn't always shown unlike the plug one.
