My folders early on in the game, as early as I can anyway, usually carry a VarSword in them, as that's an easy way to clear any minor viruses without much effort. That, or I usually play with Chip Traders early on and see if I get anything neat. Like in MMBN three I got a chip from the Plasma series - two I believe - and built a folder around that. There's really no chip I absolutely have to have in my folder, unless you count Recovery chips. Better safe than sorry. :D And that's all.

Oh, but here's a good one that's LIKE that, but easier to pull off. It involves a Prism in combination with a VarSword. <- , B , -> , B the Prism on the enemy field. 5 times the damage for each whack. totally a wonderful twentyfour hundred. Course they gotta have super armor... or be virii.

Yeah, it does work in MegaMan Battle Network 3. The thing though, it's IMMENSELY hard to do because you could probably be dead by that time, or you'd want to delete the virus as quickly as possible before using it. And Prism fades away really fast when it appears. Sad

But as with your VarSword idea, I only know two combinations, WideSword (up, right, down) and DreamSword (down, left, up, right)

Chips I like:
BlueMoon- The ability to break the opponents navi Customizer is very useful, and it's powerful...thing is....it's very inacurate.
StepSword/Cross- I just like(d) it
AirHoc-one of my favorite games to play is actually AirHockey....
Barrier 200-I'm a defensive fan.
Dark Meteor-In CU of course...
Favorite Chips:
CatusBall-What ever it's called...I like them, even if they are a little inaccurate.
FireHit-Napalm/Napalm Soul Fodder, and a personal favorite for my best soul.
MarkCan-Another favorite fodder and a personal favorite for battles.

I have no particular favorite chip, but I'll throw a list of what I like:

StepCross- 2x damage= Doom.
Delta Ray Edge- 3 x 220 damage is excellent, though it may fail sometimes.
Cross Divide- Same as StepCross.
Wide/Long Blade- I love the damage it inflicts with Blues Soul
Moon Blade- Opportunity to wipe out viruses easily with Blues Soul
Dark Invisible- With Chaos Shadow Soul: free beserker.
Blues- Better than Colonel's chip; strikes every enemy.
The elemental swords- I love them for some reason.

If you want to know, go buy Team of Colonel then. Just because I'm assuming the Blues chip is better than Colonel doesn't indicate that my own opinion's perfect. Compare the two chips within your own thoughts; don't base it on mine.

And lastly, I said the Blues chip appears to be better. Not Colonel.
