Naruto would be fine on Adult Swim--why the hell would you air it on TOONAMI???? *foresees untold thousands of cuts*

To be perfectly honest, I don't really like Naruto anymore. The first arc was fine, but after the Chuunin Exam, everything went downhill. The Chuunin Exam was the most tedious arc imaginable and the "let's fine Sasuke" arc was boring as well and waaaaaaay too full of Sasuke angst! It's what made me loathe Sasuke. Itachiman, on the other hand, is cool. Yes, I said Itachiman. The newest arc is okay...not sure what's gonna happen yet, it's way too early. But seriously, I think Naruto lacks a basic direction. Now it's just floundering around hopelessly hoping to find a plot while it does so. It's relegated to nothing but "OMG AWESOME NINJA FITES OMG !!!!!!11111oneoneone" now.

Regarding Viz's translation...one word: SUCKS. Just what the heck is a "buccolic nonentity"? Why make all the characters use such big words? Why turn Gaara into a sk8er punk? I mean, Viz's translation was pretty solid early on, but now it's lost its footing. A pity. Go read the scanlations. They're more worth your time.

I hope this dub of Naruto is good. The dubbers better keep some of the original names in the show.....or else it just isn't Naruto.

I just swear...like how in the manga they changed Ino's attach name to *shudder* the Valentine attack... -_-; how lame is that....and the Buyukagon (sp?) to...the evil eye... -.- Somestimes I'm heavily disappointed with the dubbers...

Byakugan, thankfully, is kept. Slightly, I suppose. They have Hinata say "Byakugan, the Evil Eye!" or some crap like that. Viz is doing slightly better (though Gaara's sk8ness still annoys me), keeping in the original attack names untranslated and then offering a not-so-translation, but I prefer what Naruto Manga Uncensored does. It's scary when the fans translate better than the professionals...

Deidara taunts Naruto over and over.
Naruto catches Kakashi off-guard and tries to attack Deidara.

I have read all of the ones from Narutochuushin, but that was long ago.

Deidara's a guy. In the anime, he had a deep voice from what we had heard. He couldn't win, so he decided to take himself out along with the rest of the others.

No,the deep voice was caused by the use of the special mirage Kage Bunshin the Akatsuki use.
And Deidara is a girl....didn't you notice that her boobs grew 50 times their size when she exploded?
