Megaman 8: Robot Master Speech

This is something that's been bugging me for awhile now, and it took someone on another board asking about it to really make me pursue closure.

What the heck are the Robot Masters in Megaman 8 saying when you fight them?

Some of them, like Searchman and Swordman are really clear, but others, like Astroman and Tenguman either talk too fast, or it's just plain not clear to me what they're saying.

Any help in clearing this stuff up would be greatly appreciated.

I can't recall off-hand, but I'm sure if you provide some lines of what you -think- they're saying, I could translate it.

One of the lines I find disputed is what Tenguman says when he shoots a large sphere of wind at you.

To me, it sounds like he's saying "Yama-Arashi!", but I could be wrong.

I thought that one of Aquaman's lines when he appears was: "Finally is my turn! I'm Aquaman!" or something like that.
When struck with the Mega Buster he also said something like "Boooing!"...
And Clownman when he turned into a ball, i thought he said "Thunder Handball!"...
Then again, i could be wrong...:/

Just look at what he's doing. It's obviously Thunder Cannonball. Use your context clues.

Actually...it IS Thunder Carnival.

Astroman just says "I can't take this anymore!" No Captian. XD

Swordman says..."Oh Darn" or something like that when defeated. I know it wasn't nice shot because I found it humorous when he was defeated.

I seem to recall Swordman saying "Good shot." or something to that effect. I think most, if not all, of them have two possible 'defeated' lines.

Sadly, I can't check as my MM8 is a good 3000 miles away.

I just remembered two more lines.

Tenguman: "Kid, you're almost not worth the effort."

Grenademan: "I'll be nice on you!"

You know, I've been playing MM8 since I was 12, and I still can't make out Tenguman's sphereical wind attack, but I always thought it was "Yamata-Rachi". But "Yama-Arashi" could work too.

And I thought it was "Thunder Cannonball". If you guys really think it's Carnival, then I suppose I'll have to check once more but I'm 99% sure it's "Cannonball". And I'm 100% pretty sure Astroman does say "Attention Captain". It's that slurred speech when you hit him with the Homing Sniper. Sometimes he will just say "I can't take this anymore" and sometimes he'll just say "YAH!!!!" but he does say "Attention Captain".

Maybe I was hearing things, but I could have sworn that Aqua Man said "Italian Ice" when he was shooting out water for one or both of his attacks. >.<

It sounded like Yamahasi to me. I think Astroman said "Oh no!" When a homing sniper locks onto him. Also, I think Duo doesn't speak when you fight him. He just grunts and shouts.
