PET chips

When someone slots in a chip where does it go afterwards. In the first series it came out from the slot in the back but for the axess and stream PET were does it go. The synchro chip comes out of the PET but when they do a program advance it doesn't give them enough time to put it in then take it out. Opignions anyone?

Good question. Though, it's worth noting the Advance PET apparently has room to slot in more than one chip at a time, so the Program Advance chips don't need to go anywhere after being slotted in. However, it really never does explain where they go afterwards... Same goes for Progess PETs (though most of the simultaneous/multiple slot-ins there are done with the touch screen).

I think the pet just stores them inside and then releases them later .....>> eh, Im so wrong right now.

Or how about all the chips crammed into the PET before Cross Fusion? Most I've seen put in was 6 (5 battle chips, then the Synchro Chip)! My guess is the Advanced PET can hold a maximum of 6 battle chips, before they're spit out automatically like we've seen with the Synchro Chip.

Way back in episode 1 of Axess, the Synchro Chip was ejected from the top of the PET after they de-fused and Lan collapsed. Maybe the chips just come back out of the slot after they are used?

there doesn't seem to be a slot on the back in the advance for them to come out

You know, if they designed the PET's in the anime just like the toys, then they wouldn't have to stick them inside. Just put it in and take it out... or have a button to eject them a bit so they could slot in the next without having to worry about pulling it out.

Actually, come to think of it, they did do that, the button that is. Second episode of Axess, when Dr. Hikari was messing with Lan's PET with the Synchro Chip, he opened it up and pressed the cover on the side, which made the Synchro chip come out. Maybe that's what it was. ::shrugs::

It's either ejected out the top or the back. Seems like a good solution.
