Chapter 15:Static Electricity and the huge battle royale.

Some guy decided he would carjack a really neat looking golf cart at night. He got in it and hotwired it, and was taking it for a drive. However, the guy had a few drinks at a bar before driving, and as a result, he crashed into several mailboxes, telephone poles, and other assorted objects.

After realizing that he couldn't keep a golf cart in this condition, he slowly drove it back to ther house he found it at and snuck away, hoping no one would notice.

It was at one of these times, Starman wished that they had continued using dimensional generators so he could save his netop. However, he could only watch as Fuyuki was thrown around helplessly, unable to do anything about it.

"Netto...why on Earth did you shove Fuyuki into the dryer with all of the clothes?" Starman asked.

"I don't know. I guess just because it's funny." Netto replied, watching his brother be flung everywhere.

"DAMMIT NETTO! LET ME OUT!!!" Fuyuki shouted, although what he said sounded slurred due to the mixing of the dryer.

"This is a little mean, Netto." Rockman said.

"Fine. After one day, we let him out." Netto walked away and Starman sighed.

"Greeaat..." He said.

Everyone went on with their lives, except for Fuyuki, who was trapped in the dryer, and Starman, who was watching.

A day later, Netto opened the dryer, and Fuyuki fell out.

"Need...water..." Fuyuki said.

"It's right over there." Netto said.

Fuyuki got up.

"YOU IDIOT!" He said, and pointed at Netto.

Then, something both of them wasn't expecting happened. Static electricity shot out of Fuyuki finger and sparked Nettos' hand.

Netto yelped a quick "Ow!" And shook his finger.

Fuyuki looked at his sparking hand.

"Wow. I guess I was in that dryer for so long that all of the clothes gave me lots of static."

Then he grinned.

Next thing Netto knew, he was pinned to the ceiling by static electricity.

"Fuyuki! Let me down!" Netto shouted.

''Yeah, right!" Fuyuki said.

"I'm sorry about stuffing you in a dryer for 24 hours! Now can you let me down?"

"What are the magic words, bitch?" Fuyuki asked, grinning.

"I'm sorry, master!" Netto shouted, hoping he was right.

He was, he noticed, as he plummeted down. Netto smacked into the ground with a loud thud.

"Thank you..." He muttered.

"Um, Fuyuki? Don't touch the PETs. You'll short us out." Starman said.

Fuyuki looked through some drawers and found a rubber glove.

"That problem was taken care of." He said.

He walked outside, and his eyes widened really big when he saw his golf cart. It was smashed up beyond belief.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO MY FRICKEN CART?!?" He shouted.

Enzan happened to be in the neighborhood. He heard the shout and looked over to see Fuyuki. He walked over.

"How's it going, Fuyuki." He asked, trying to avoid the golf cart.

"Morning to you too, Mr.Netbattler Prodigy. This is how it's going. Look at my fricken cart. It is crushed to hell and back."

Enzan looked at the cart.

"Have you gotten any estimates?" He asked.

"Oh for the love of--I just found it this way!" Fuyuki said.

"Fuyuki! Cool down man! I'm a detective!" Enzan said. "Clear the crime scene and let me think."

Fuyuki sighed and stepped aside, folding his arms.

Enzan looked over the cart.

"Meteors did it!" He announced. "That'll be 20 dollars."

Netto walked outside.

"What's all the yelling?" He asked.

"Great, we've got the crazy one outside." Fuyuki muttered.

"Man, you're cart is messed up." Netto said.

"Yeah, you don't say." Fuyuki said.

"And your insurance ran out, too. That sucks. Why haven't you called Geico?" Netto asked.

Fuyuki said "Get back inside."

He pointed his finger at Netto, and a bolt of static pushed Netto inside.

"Fine, be that way!!!" Netto shouted.

"How did you do that?" Enzan asked.

"Netto shoved me in a clothes dryer for 24 hours. Now I have static electricity." Fuyuki explained.

He turned and walked to the metroline.

"Now I'm gonna try to go win a million dollars in a casino." He said.

"You want million dollar?!?" Enzan shouted after him, in a chinese voice.

Fuyuki turned around, his face having an amazed expression.

"Whoa. Do that again."

Enzan imitated a chinese guy again.

Fuyuki laughed.

"Damn, how did you do that?" He asked.

Enzan shrugged.

"I just found out I could imitate chinese people one day. It's weird." He said.

Fuyuki held up his hand for a high-five. Enzan slapped his hand back, and got a slight shock.

"Oh, sorry. I forgot about that." Fuyuki said.

Rockman, Starman, and Blues were all arguing over Fuyukis' static.

"I don't think he should be using it to pin people to the ceiling!" Rockman said.

"Why the hell not? It's a good use of electricity!" Starman said.

"Yes. Fuyuki is only using something for creative uses." Blues said.

"Pinning Netto to the ceiling is creative? You guys are such asshats!" Rockman said.

Starman and Blues looked at eachother.

"Hey, that's a good idea!" Starman said.

He and Blues both ran off. Rockman chased after them and stared in disbelief at what they had miraculously managed to do in mere seconds. Both of them were selling helmets that looked like the human ass.

"Asshats! Get your asshats!" Starman shouted.

"And now, you get two asshats for the price of four!" Blues shouted.

"I meant it as an insult, not a new fad!" Rockman shouted.

"Well we took it as a fad, and look how much money we're making!" Starman said, and pointed to a huge mountain made of zenny.

"Thanks for the idea, Rockman." Blues said.

Rockman sighed.

"You two are insane..." He said.

Zoidberg from Futurama ran up to Starman and Blues.

"I'll take eight!" He said.

Fuyuki eventually lost his electricity when Netto rubbed him with a balloon. Both of them found out about a netbattle royale being held very soon, and signed up with the their friends and several other people who they knew and didn't know.

Even Haruka and Yuiichiro had signed up.

"Let's hope Rockman and Forte don't team up again like last time." Iceman said.

"What happened at the last Battle Royale?" Cyclone asked.

"Rockman and Forte teamed up and wiped out the competition. When they fought eachother, Rockman used a soul called TerraSoul to completely annihilate Forte." Roll explained.

"That was some cheap bullshit Rockman pulled." Forte said.

"Your just jealous because I whipped your sorry ass." Rockman said, smirking.

"Shut the hell up." Forte muttered.

Pretty soon, the Battle Royale began. However, they were told one piece of information that nobody was expecting. It was a Team Battle Royale. There were three teams.

Team Alpha consisted of Rockman, Roll, Starman, Cyclone, Blues, Forte, Bankotsu, Jakotsu, and Trill.

Team Beta consisted of Gutsman, Iceman, Glyde, Skullman, Sharkman, Woodman, Serenade, Axl, and Napalmman.

Team Gamma, the final team, was a standard navi named Dahaka.EXE, An aqautic navi named Torrent.EXE, A female navi named Kaguya.EXE, Topman, a dark navi named Sonata.EXE, a light navi named Twilight.EXE, Slur, Needleman, and Knightman.

When two teams were finished off, the remaining team would break off and fight eachother. The battle started.

Starman leapt at Skullman and smashed him with a meteor. When the meteor vanished, a few Star Arrows and an UltraNova easily defeated Skullman.

He was transported to an area labled "Da Losers."

Rockman went into Cyclone Soul and stood back to back with Cyclone. They watched as Sharkman, Woodman, Glyde, Iceman, and Gutsman tried to attack them from all sides.

"Ready?" Rockman asked.

Cyclone nodded.

Both of them held up their hands and formed the ball of wind in them.

"Double Gale!" They shouted, and threw the wind orbs to the ground.

A huge tornadoe appeared and slammed the attackers into the walls, while cutting them up with razor sharp winds.

Gutsman, Iceman, Woodman, Sharkman, and Glyde were transported to Da Losers.

Cyclone and Rockman prepared for another team attack.

Both of them charged up and shouted "Shining Air!"

The spread their arms out real quickly in a fan-like motion, and created several air blades as a result.

They all homed in Napalmman. Although they didn't exactly delete him, they smacked into him and knocked him across the arena. He skidded to a stop.

"Nenji, could I have some assistance?" Napalmman asked.

"Alright, Napalmman. Make good use of this. Zodiac! Slot-in!" Nenji said, slotting in the powerful gigachip.

Napalmman turned silver, and more guns sprouted out around his arm guns in a gatling-like fashion. His head gun also had guns sprout out. A scope appeared over his eye. Several cannons popped out from his back and shoulders. Two gatling guns appeared on his chest. A napalm launcher appeared on his back. His feet got jet boots, and his knees had two shotguns in them.

"Zodiac Napalmman, ready to fire!" Napalmman said, and aimed all of his guns everywhere.

He proceeded to unleash a huge storm of bullets.

Rockman switched off his soul and went into Forte Soul.

"Hell Rolling!" He shouted, and unleashed the buzzsaws, slicing up all bullets heading towards him.

"Geez, Napalmman might give us a little more trouble then Merethyn." Cyclone said, blowing away all of the bullets headed towards her.

Gutsman smashed all bullets heading towards him, while Roll used Roll Flash to destroy a rocket. Forte merely blew them up. Most of the navis were dodging or destroying the bullets easily, while Napalmman unleashed more bullets.

"C'mon, too busy taking care of my firepower to fight me?" Napalmman taunted.

Torrent, however, wasn't exactly that strong. She was busy taking care of a missle when another one hit her in the back, knocking her down. She looked up and saw a napalm about to drop down on her. She closed her eyes and braced for losing.

However, when she didn't feel an explosion, she opened her eyes.

Topman had guarded her.

"Topman!" She shouted and looked at her fallen teammate.

"I'm...okay. An old navi like me doesn't stand much of a chance against all of these strong navis anyways. Torrent...win this fight for our team." He said.

Torrent nodded.

"Okay, Topman-san." She said.

Topman was transported to Da Losers.

Kaguya dashed at Starman, her Full Moon Chakrams in her hands.

"Ready to feel my power?" She asked.

"Baby, I have more power stored in my right pointer finger than you have in your---"

He was interupted when a chakram smacked him in the face.

"Oh, you bitch." He said.

"Galaxy Stop!!!"

Kaguya suddenly found it very hard to move. Starman's arm morphed into a shimmering black cybersword, that had several stars and nebulae shimmering on it.

"CosmicSword!" He shouted, and sliced into Kaguya.

She was transported to Da Losers as well. Napalmman turned all of his guns to Jakotsu.

"Ready to die, gay man?" He asked.

"How rude!" Jakotsu said, and flung his sword downwards.

The blade shot several gleaming white blades at Napalmman, cutting off all of his zodiac guns.

"Oh, shit." Napalmman said.

Jakotsu struck is sword against the ground, and several blades flew up and sliced into Napalmman. He was transported to Da Losers as well.

"I hope my cute little Rockman saw me!" Jakotsu said, his eyes sparkling.

Axl and Serenade had teamed up against Bankotsu. They Serenade was using Divine Wrath on him, while Axl shot rapid fire. Bankotsu spun his zanbatou around, making all of Axl's shots get deflected. He dashed up at Serenade.

"Beast Ravage!" He shouted, and flung his halberd around wildly.

He hit Serenade very hard, enough to knock him out of the arena. Serenade was transported to Da Losers.

"So unfair!" Serenade said.

"Why do you say that?" Woodman asked.

"Because he's got that huge-ass zanbatou." Serenade replied.

Axl, however, was faring against the halberdman really well. He even managed to freeze him with Freeze Gatling. He landed and charged up both magnums.

"And this is where we part. Shot of God!" He shouted, and proceeded to unleash a barrage of energy bursts against Bankotsu.

The next thing he knew, Bankotsu was transported into Da Losers section.

Slur pulled out a cherry blossom. She spun around with it in her hands, and several more bladed cherry blossoms appeared in around her. They were very strong, enough to eliminate Roll and Trill.

Torrent created a huge wave and attacked Cyclone. She wasn't eliminated, but she was hurt bad.

Twilight looked towards his brother, Sonata.

"Ready?" He asked in his light, rich voice.

"Let's do it." Sonata replied in his dark, deep voice.

Sonata aimed his white buster gun at Starman, while Twilight held his right hand on Sonata's back, sending him energy. Both of them suddenly sensed the impending doom in the air.

"The most dangerous competition in this area. It's not Team Alpha..." Sonata said.

"It's him." Twilight said, gesturing towards Dahaka.

Sonata turned and blasted his energy burst at Dahaka. Dahaka did not move and let the blasts fly at him. A black void opened and consumed the blasts. Dahaka glowed black and his form started to shift. Everyone gasped as his true, demonic form was revealed.

Dahaka now was a huge black creature with evil designs barely showing up on his body. He had two large, curled horns in almost a ram like fashion. He was about as big as the Dream Virus, and has two white, pupiless, glaring eyes. Black, seemingly endless voids appeared and disappeared all around him. He had huge, scything claws, and tendrils that hung down from the back of his head like long hair.

Everyone gasped.

Dahaka lunged at everybody in sight.

"RUN LIKE HELL!" Starman shouted.

Everybody ran.

"What...is that thing?" Netto asked, shocked.

"Nothing like I've ever seen." Enzan said.

Fuyuki looked through his battlechips, looking for something to help. He found what he was looking for.

"Maze! Battlechip, in!"

Walls appeared everywhere.

"That should hold him." Netto said happily.

Dahaka ran through the walls like a bat out of hell, everything being absorbed by the voids or destroyed.

"...Or not." Enzan said.

Slur looked around for something to stop it.

"That's it!" She said, remembering something that would delay the demon.

"Starman! Channel your energy into me!" Slur said.

Starman nodded and sent his energy to Slur. Slur opened a hole to the Secret Net.

"Everyone, down!" She shouted.

Everyone went into the Secret Network, Slur going in after everyone did, and closing the hole. They could all see Dahaka thrashing around above them, looking for everyone.

"It seems the legends were true." Starman said.

"Mr.Starman, what do you mean?" Torrent asked.

"When I was with the Darkloids, we all heard of a legendary demon navi named Dahaka." Starman explained.

"And I'm guessing you guys wanted to find him, to try and get him as a Darkloid." Rockman said.

Starman nodded. He sat down.

"Everybody move your asses around. I've got a story to tell." He said.

Everyone sat down next to Starman, anxious to hear his legend.

Chapter 16:Blues's moment in the spotlight.

"Dahaka is not natural. He was created by mistake." Starman explained.

"It all started a very long with a prince of a country called Persia. He was tricked into unleashing a very dangerous force called the Sands of Time. The Sands turned everyone into demonic beasts called Sand Beasts."

''The only people not transformed were the prince, a girl, and an evil man. They were not transformed because of sacred artifacts they had with them. The prince's dagger, the girls bow and arrows, and the man's staff."

"Eventually, the prince and the girl defeated te evil man and sealed away the sands of time, bringing everything back to the way it was, even curing the Sand Beasts."

"However, due to the prince's meddling with time, Dahaka was spawned. The Dahaka is the guardian of the timeline. When something exists that shouldn't, the Dahaka is sent to erase it."

"Since the prince should've died at the Sultan's Palace when the Sands were unleashed, the Dahaka has come to fix this problem by killing the prince. The huge beast followed the prince with one single purpose: ending his life."

"The Dahaka appears very suddenly, traveling throughout reality in a swirling black void. As it approaches, the ground trembles and unsuspecting bystanders are forever pulled into the void, never to return."

"The Dahaka cannot be stopped by walls, no weapon can harm it, and it cannot be killed, harmed, or slowed down."

Blues looked up at the raging beast.

"If it's unkillable...what can we do?" He asked.

"If we go back up, we'll be destroyed, and if we stay down here, we will become denizens of the Undernet." Forte said.

"Actually, it is found out that the Dahaka is not invincible." Starman said.

Everyone shifted their attention back to him.

"The prince tried to find a way to destroy the Sands of Time in the past, so he would've never unleashed them, thus resulting in the Dahaka not hunting him. On many occasions he was chased by Dahaka, and on one chase, he ran past a curtain of water. The Dahaka stopped chasing the prince and left. It was found out the Dahaka cannot pass through water. The prince now had one way to evade the Dahaka."

"He and the Empress of Time, the creator of the Sands, tried to destroy the beast. Although it seemed like they would die, the prince obtained a new sword called the Water Sword."

"Now since Dahaka can't cross water, what if water was morphed into a blade and used against him? This new Water Sword is the only weapon capable of harming, even killing the Dahaka."

"The prince and the empress were able to destroy the Dahaka. Now, after all those years, the Dahaka has been reborn as a navi. No longer the guardian of the timeline, he now has one focus: Destroy everything." Starman finished.

"Well, now we know how to destroy it." Twilight said.

"Question is: Where is the Water Sword?"

Starman smirked.

"Well, I can sense the power of it. It's right here with us.'' He said.

He looked at Torrent.

"The Water Sword is sealed inside of a navi. And that navi is her." He said.

"Me?!?" Torrent asked, surprised.

"I can sense it in you." Starman said.

Blues nodded.

"I feel a great power from a blade coming from her." He said.

Torrent got up.

"So...I'm the only thing that can destroy Dahaka?" She asked.

"Apparently." Forte answered. "If what Starman says is true, than our only hope is if you become that blade."

Torrent nodded. She closed her eyes and focused her energy. She glowed bright and her form began to morph. When the light vanished, the Water Sword was there, floating in midair.

"Alright. Now, we have the weapon. So, who will wield it?" Slur asked.

Everyone looked at Blues.

"C'mon. I may be powerful, but I can't wield go up against Dahaka and win, even with this." Blues said.

"Blues, you're one of the best swordsmen ever, except for maybe Colonel. And since he isn't here, you're the only one who can go up against Dahaka." Rockman said.

Everyone nodded and murmured in agreement.

"Please, Bluesy-chan?" Trill asked.

Blues looked at everyone, than at the shimmering sword that floated before him.

"Alright. I'll use the Water Sword."

Blues grabbed the sword and gripped it firmly with both hands. He felt a strange sensation go through his body.

"Not only do I have the Water Sword, but Torrent's Soul resides within the blade as well."

His armor went from red to blue, and seemed to shimmer like water does.

"Slur, open the hole. I'm ready to take on the beast." Blues said.

Slur nodded and opened the portal. Blues leapt out into the normal network, ready to face the greatest challenge of his life.

Dahaka thrashed around, still looking for his prey.

"Hey, Dahaka!" It heard.

The beast turned to see Blues, but he seemed different. Then Dahaka spotted something he recognized. Blues was holding the Water Sword.

Dahaka shot several tendrils out at Blues. Blues grinned and slashed them all up. He dashed at Dahaka. Dahaka plunged more tendrils into the ground, and the shot up under Blues.

The swordsman jumped up and created a huge sheet of water and dropped it onto the tendrils. They shot back into the ground and back to Dahaka. Blues landed and ran at the beast again. Dahaka swiped at Blues with his huge claws.

Blues smoothly strafed to the right and sliced into one arm. Dahaka reared back and roared in pain. Blues jumped back. He created a huge dome of water around Dahaka.

"Don't fail me now, Water Sword!" He shouted, and threw the blade like a boomerang into the dome.

Inside of the dome, the blade flew around and sliced up Dahaka. The blade then flew out and returned to Blues's hand. He smirked.

"Gotta love this blade." He said.

At that moment, the dome of water vanished and Dahaka ran at Blues. He thrust his arm into Blues, impaling the surprised navi. Blues gasped in pain. Dahaka withdrew his arm and blasted Blues with a gigantic blast of darkness.

Blues was hurt critically. He raised his arm to strike Dahaka with the Water Sword, but Dahaka was quicker and slashed Blues's hand. Blues screamed out in pain. The Water Sword was flung across the area.

"Damn!" Blues shouted, and turn to get the blade.

However, Dahaka created a void underneath Blues. The swordsman fell down, but hung onto the edge of the void.

"Dammit...is this the end?" He asked himself, looking down into the endless black abyss below him.

"Don't give up!" Enzan shouted to his navi. Blues looked up.

"Enzan-sama?" He asked.

"Blues, don't give up so easily! We need to destroy this thing!" Enzan said.

"Yeah, you're the only one who can wield the Water Sword! You have to win, Blues!" Fuyuki said.

"You can't be deleted just yet! Who will Rockman and I spar with if you're gone?" Netto said.

"And who will Trill be with? I know you can kick Dahaka's ugly black ass!" Lauren said.

"Blues, get up and fight! Destroy Dahaka!" Shun said.

It went on, every human Blues knew who was with their navi was encouraging him. Blues smiled.

"Thanks, everyone." He said. Blues pulled himself up.

"Now, where'd that Water Sword go?" He asked.

"Catch!" Someone shouted.

Blues turned and caught the Water Sword.

"Thanks, Rockman." Blues said.

Rockman, and all of the other navis were in the battlezone.

"We'll delay Dahaka, while you charge up your energy to destroy it!" Bankotsu said.

They all leapt at Dahaka, attacking. It seemed like they would win, but the Dahaka gained the upper hand. Several tendrils lashed out and impaled Kaguya, Twilight, Sonata, Jakotsu, Topman, Needleman, and Knightman.

"Shit!" Starman said.

"Jakotsu!" Bankotsu shouted.

"Bankotsu...it appears I couldn't fight this thing and live. I'm sorry." Jakotsu said.

Then to Rockman, he said "Rockman, I love you..."

He was deleted.

Twilight said "Blues...we're sorry we couldn't hold him off that long.''

"Destroy this guy for us, mkay?" Sonata said.

They were deleted.

Kaguya winced.

"I guess...I wasn't that powerful..." She said, and was deleted.

"I don't mind. I had a pretty good life. At least I'll be deleted protecting the Net." Topman said, and was deleted.

Needleman said "Yuriko...I'm sorry!"

And was deleted.

Knightman said "I have failed! Forgive me..."

He was deleted.

"They're all gone..." Rockman said.

"Dammit...are we really that weak against this thing?" Starman asked.

Blues responded "No! Their souls are resonating in this blade. I can feel it. And with this, I shall destroy Dahaka!"

He leapt up.

"TSUNAMI SLASH!" He shouted, and brought his sword down in a mighty watery slash attack.

It sliced slowly into Dahaka. Dahaka screeched in pain, and was deleted with a huge explosion of darkness.

"I guess I win..." Blues said, and reverted back to normal.

The Water Sword shimmered and vanished.

A light ball appeared right next to Bankotsu.

"What's this?" He asked, and grabbed the light ball.

"I see..." He said.

It vanished.

"Rockman, Jakotsu says stay alive." Bankotsu said.

Rockman nodded.

Forte asked "Blues, are you okay?"

Blues nodded.

"I think we should plug out for today." He said.

All of the netops plugged out their navis. Netto, Fuyuki, and Enzan all collapsed onto a couch.

"That was fun." Fuyuki said.

"What do we do tomorrow?" Enzan asked.

"I have an idea." Netto said.

He told everyone his idea. Everyone agreed.

"Tomorrow, I'll kick each and every one of your asses." Fuyuki said.

"Keep telling yourself that." Enzan said.

Chapter 17:It's war!

Netto hid behind a pillar, his back to it, ready to jump out at any moment. All around him, it was dark, except for the glowing red and green areas, serving as territories.

Normally, Netto would've jumped out from his hiding spot right now and ran into enemy territory, guns blazing, but the deadly red lights lancing around stopped him.

If one hit him, he would be out of commission for awhile.

"I'm hit!" He heard Enzan shout.

Netto ducked and somersaulted to where Enzan was.

"How long are you down for?" Netto asked, shooting his red light blindly, defending his teammate.

"I won't last long...I see a bright light..." Enzan said.

Netto gave Enzan a look that said What the hell?

"Get over yourself, Enzan. This is Lasertag, remember?"

Enzan replied "Oh yeah, sorry. Got caught up in the moment."

Enzan's armor recharged, and Blues said "I can shoot again."

Netto, Enzan, and all of their friends were playing Lasertag at the local arcade. It was quite an interesting game of Lasertag, as the guns were the PETs. Using the infrared lights that PETs shoot when navis plug in as bullets, they connected the PET to the Lasertag armor via chord. Whenever someone hit blinking spots on the armor, they would gain points and the PET couldn't shoot out infrared lights for a small time.

Fuyuki jumped by the two and fired off his PET rapidly.

"Less talk, more shooting!" He shouted.

Netto and Enzan got up and started shooting at their attackers. Fuyuki ran into the enemy territory, and took out Dekao, Meiru, Yaito, and Shun.

"Geez, he's getting all these points and we haven't even touched him yet!" Shun complained.

"Looks like your brother's having fun." Enzan said, firing at the red team wall target, another way to gain points.

"You could say that." Rockman replied.

Netto took down a sniper on the opposite team.

"Damn you green team!" He shouted before running back to his territory.

"Heh, too easy." Netto said, and blew the light on his PET as if it were a gun.

Then a red light lanced right past him. Netto turned to shoot, but somebody had already taken care of the offender.

"Great, Mr.AntiSocial stole my kill." Netto muttered.

"I really don't see why I had to come." Laika said.

He was very annoyed that he was playing Lasertag with a bunch of kids.

"Because we forced you to." Netto replied.

Searchman said ''Well, at least we can think of it as extra military training, Laika sir."

"Yes, there always is that." Laika said, and ran into the enemy territory.

"Geez, what's his problem?" Netto said.

"Well, we went all the way to Shaaro, tied him up while he wasn't looking, put him on a plane, and forced him to play Lasertag. And you expect him to be happy." Enzan said.

"Enzan has a point." Tohru said, shooting Dekao.

"And get out of our territory!" He shouted.

Katya ran back from enemy territory with a bunch of points claimed.

"You know, if you guys keep talking, Fuyuki, Laika, and I are gonna have the highest scores!" She said.

Meanwhile, Laika was sniping enemies from his upper floor hiding spot. As much as he hated to admit it, he couldn't help but admire the kill-or-be-killed feeling Lasertag gave him.

"Hey, is that Laika up there, sniping us?" Shun said.

Laika dashed to the side. Now he would have to do something that would shame him forever.

He made his voice high-pitched and said "No, it's me, Meiru!"

Right after he did so, Laika hung his head in shame.

"Searchman? We tell no one about this, okay?" He said.

Searchman nodded.

"Liar! Meiru's right here!" Shun shouted upwards.

The first thought that ran through Laika's mind was Oh shit.

The russian soldier ran off and found another hiding spot. He then hid in the shadows, and waited for his prey to come. The moment the enemy team came up, he sniped them all.

Fuyuki was doing just as good as Laika, but instead of sniping, he just ran in gung-ho and blasted everyone.

"Starman, what's my current point count?" He asked.

"You've got 9999. Just a few behind Laika." Starman replied.

"Then let's go rack up points and kick his russian ass!" Fuyuki said.

Katya was a few behind Fuyuki, although she was using a slightly different tactic. Just before the match started, Katya had Cyclone mess with the vests programs and by tapping the vests lights, she could switch her team color.

Needless to say, she could easily infiltrate the team and take them down.

The game ended shortly, with Laika in first, Fuyuki in second, and Katya in third.

"Heh, told you all I'd kick your asses!" Fuyuki said.

"Except for mine." Laika said. "Now can I go back to Shaaro?"

"Fine, go." Netto said, and Laika left.

It was late, and everyone had gone home.

"So, looks like summer has ended." Netto said.

Fuyuki nodded.

"Tomorrow, you go back to school, right?" He said.

Netto replied "Yeah. A lot happened this summer, huh?"

Fuyuki said "Lumine, the Mavericks, Ahura and Angra, The Band of Darkness, The Mall, Movies, Dahaka, and today. I could use a few weeks of rest."

He got up.

"I'm going to bed. Night." He said.

"Good night." Netto said.

To Rockman, he asked "You think he'll still email me the answers to all of my homework?"

"If he does, I'll delete the email." Rockman said.

"What?!? Why?!?" Netto asked.

"Cause that's cheating."

Netto was quiet.

"Rockman-" He started.

"No, I will not ask Katya to email you the answers." Rockman cut him off.

"Aw, dammit!" Netto said.

"Well, you need to learn to do the work yourself.'' Rockman said.

Netto sighed.

"Man...well, I guess I better get some sleep." He said.

Netto walked to his room. All of the excitement had actually left him a little tired. He put his PET on his desk and collapsed into bed without even bothering to change into his pajamas.

"Good night, Netto-kun." Rockman said.

"Night, Rockman." Netto said, and drifted off to sleep.
