Well, also remembering that Enzan's father is a fairly important person (or is supposed to be, at any rate) chances are, they don't wanna be taking too many chances, and remembering there's more than one way to kill someone, you can not only shoot or stab them, there's also: strangling, neck snapping, etc. That and probably if Enzan had said no, he wouldn't have stayed in that room, he woulda' left... and taken Shuuseki (sp?) with him... and also, he mentioned something about all the action making for killer ratings or something to that extent, and he was kinda obsessed with ratings (heck, he even asked Enzan to tell him the ratings of the N1 while he was being arrested XD)

I think the point of the thread is "Why do all the bad guys just give up and turn themselves in after losing the netbattle, instead of shooting Lan with a gun or better yet just beating him up, since most bad guy ops are grown men and he is a shrimpy 10 year old kid." And the answer is because its a game and you have to win.

The answer to that is non real villian would do that. It's in their code not to do anything that smart.

Like people have said, the point of the game is to win. If the villian in the game is an actual villian, you wouldn't be able to win. Just think, would you run up to a thug and say "Hey! Netbattle, now!" He'd pop a cap in yo' ass! (lol Laughing

.) The storyline, when you think about it, already is pretty unbelieveable (but it would be extremely cool to have navis) so they can stretch things even more. :puku:

Only Answer, Net Society makes people weak. They can't do everything without computer. Even how big their body are they don't have enough muscle to punch or shooting someone.

It's like asking why Wile E Coyote doesn't just forget the stupied Road Runner, get himself a job, and BUY some food. >.> Honestly, the game's about computers and computer programs. Let it be that way. If it weren't, you'd be disappointed about THAT.

But if you wanna get all logical about it.... Wily would probably have Sunayama sacked, and then proceed to have him whacked, so being caught by the authorities is probably a more lax punishment. I'm not sure if that's been said, but meh.

Okay, if you stretch it that far, then why not beat the *********** out of Wily and destroy the rocket/server/whatever instead of letting the Lifevirus/Alpha run??
But Suynama SHOULD have been armed with a gun... in reality. -_-;
