This time, i tried without using black lines. I'm rather pleased with the final result (stylish and such):

Wow, I think that looks great, but my only suggestion (sp?) is to add a little shading on the neck

Very nice and clean coloring job here. I like how smooth you made the drawing, even without the use of a base outline. I agree with what's been said about having a "vector-ish" feel to it.
