Are you sure you've seen the last episode? Besides the 26 episode TV series, there's the Winter movie, Spring movie, and Love Hina Again (an OVA series). Love Hina Again is pretty much the end of the anime series. Yeah, It is a fun series. The amount that Keitaru gets beaten up is ridiculously fun. Kaolla's just insane. And Shinobu is voiced by one of my favorite (English) voice actresses, Ruby Marlowe (or one of her many aliases). Hmm, now that I think about it, there's a Summer movie too. I think. Darn, I can't remember for sure. :grr: _________________ Church: Are you following any of this?
Caboose: I think so. That guy Tex is a robot, and you're his boyfriend. So that makes you... a gay robot.
Church: ... That's right... I'm a gay robot.

It doesn't air on TV. You have to buy the DVDs. But...I really hate the English voices in the Love Hina dub. It honestly has to be one of the worst casts put together ever. I have the first DVD, but that's all I have of the anime. As for the manga, I have every book. |

I love the Manga. I love the Japanese episodes. I've never seen it dubbed. I'm a huge Love Hina fan, ever since my friend snuck volume one into 5th Grade. Lots of cute girls, humor, and lots of other assorted things that make this series a must for manga/anime collectors. _________________ EXEHQ. Click now, I demand it.

I'm not really big on the Love Hina anime. I have all of the episodes and specials burned on CD, but I can only tolerate the Winter special... (in fact, I've made it a Christmas tradition to watch it on Christmas Eve). However, the Love Hina manga? Yeah, I got all 14 volumes... The manga is supremely better, I'd say. _________________

Ah... Love Hina.... the manga series that changed my life. I remember reading Volume 14 at school while everyone else was doing Math work. (I was done, by the way, so the teacher allowed us to read.) Right when I first opened it, I had almost 5000+ people behind me trying to see what I'm reading. (This also happened when I brought, Angel Sanctuary, DN Angel, Megaman NT Warrior, Bastard!!, and ANY manga I had.)
After the bell rang, anyone who saw it started calling me Keitaro, and I SWEAR ON MY LIFE they called my best friend Chelsea, Naru as well. We both got kinda confused, until we both checked to see if it really was true, and hell we cracked up because of our resemblences!
To go into topic, the anime and manga are really good. If someone is looking for a Romance/Comedy that doesn't have the words NEG and IMA, then best to look for Love Hina.
PS: Yeah, Liddo-kuns are cool! |

Love Hina... Where do I start?
It starts with Keitaro, a guy who keeps failing his entrance exam. As promised to his parents, he left and started 'looking for a job'. He came to Hinata Inn, finding that his grandmother left the inn in his care (even before he arrived). All was going well, until he found out something about the inn: it's now an all-female dorm...
Keitaro now has enough trouble that could kill any normal person. Of course, Keitaro isn't normal, as he survives all the punches, kicks, and sword slashes *gulp* most of the Hinata Inn girls throw at him.
I'll go into more detail, but I might spoil too much. Things can get pretty random at Love Hina. One episode, they are all looking for ways to save the Hinata Inn from debt. Next thing you know, everyone is running from a horde of robo-Tamas. _________________ My deviantART... |

Kawaii. Anyway, I really haven't kept up with the Love Hina anime that much at all, but it apparently differs a bit from the manga. I'm pretty sure that, in the manga, his parents kicked him out for failing his entrance exam to Tokyo University, yet again.
Anyway, here's a bit more of the story that's vital: the reason Keitaro wants to go to Tokyo U so bad is because there's apparently a rumor that, if two people go to Tokyo U together, they'll get married and spend the rest of their lives together. When Keitaro was a little kid, he was best friends with this little girl... whose name he can no longer recall... and they promised each other that they'd go to Tokyo U together.
But then, the little girl moved, and he never saw her again. He wants to go to Tokyo U to find her and fall in love. When he goes to Hinata Inn... and finds out his grandmother left it to his aunt Haruka and turned it into an all-girls dorm... he meets a large cast of female characters who... by the end of the series... all fall in love with Keitaro.
But the most important of these girls is Naru, who pretty much is Keitaro's main romantic interest the entire series. Her and Keitaro have a very on-and-off kind of relationship... and "off" usually results in a punch to the face that sends Keitaro flying into the distance. Naru, also, is trying to get into Tokyo U...
And it's pretty important to note how clumsy Keitaro is. Living with a bunch of girls, he's often thrown into very... awkward situations. He'll trip and land face-first in a girl's chest... and that's one of the very calm examples. It's not uncommon for a girl's clothes to be completely ripped off (or even vaporized) due to some kind of weird accident by Keitaro. Because he's deemed such a "peeping tom," the girls are often kicking his ass.
But, yeah... Love Hina is really funny and it has a lot of charm. It's up there with my favorites, definitely. But I recommend the manga over the anime... it actually flows at a slower pace than the anime, which gives it more time to develop the characters. (Plus, the art style is a little better... the girls are WAY too endowed in the anime.) _________________

I am still reading the manga, I'm only on volume 9....
I'm not too hot about the anime because it could not have some of the crazy things that the manga could do.
Uhh one of my favorite toys is an action figure of Mutsumi?
http://img126.echo.cx/img126/3210/actionfiller029kq.png -not the best pic of it, but you get the idea which one I own. Recently I acquired one of the hard to find Love Hina Capsule toys and was able to use the hair her capsule toy has instead of her regular one.
I also have a Motoko figure, but it's not as cool. (I think it's because she's more mobile without her kendou outfit on....X_x) |
