The reason the lip-synching arguement fails is because ShoPro wouldn't rename a character to fit the mouth movements when they could just shuffle the words in the dialogue to make it fit the lip-synching.

My name is Jun-ko-Man (yoshiman's Japanese pronounciation, six syllables total).

Hi, my name is JunkMan (English pronunciation, six syllables total).

That could be better, but it's 12:33 AM and I'm brain-dead. But you get the idea.

Junkdataman in the dub? I'm so confused.

People, I shall say this once more since I don't think anyone's reading my posts.

In every single name change ever made in NT Warrior, none of them have EVER had to do with lip synching, they never have and never will.

I'm glad at least a few of you were able to use some common sense about english dubbing and see WHY, since no name change in anime history has ever been accosiated with lip flap. EVER.

You know who JunkMan's VA reminded me of? Wallace Shawn. I sware, JunkMan would just pop out and shout "inconceivable!" But, oh well.

I admit, I was kinda in the WTF stage when he went "JunkDataMan" just before the commercial. But you know what, as long as they don't mess up with the soul names that much, it should be find, right?

Anyway, next weekend, Misaki and Prisman come back. Misaki was voiced by Trevor Devall, but Prisman didn't speak in that one, so he'll probaby end up with a new voice. I think in the japanese version they were both voiced by the same character, and all occasions of that in the US verson the NetOp and NAVI have had their own individual voice (Except for Torakichi).

I guess we've only got about a month and maybe a few weeks until the new fall cartoon season begins. I don't think there's anyway they'll finish Axess by then. It would be nice if they would continue straight on to Stream afterwards without a break. They might do that since Stream begins where Axess ends, but we'll see.

So, Cross Fusion #0 is the next episode, that means Gravityman will be back. I missed his appearance last time, so I haven't heard his voice actor yet.

I doubt ShoPro can dub the episodes as fast as Kids WB is airing them. Fullmetal Alchemist had to go on a summer break because Cartoon Network was airing episodes too quickly, and they did it weekly too.

Anyway, August 13's episode is entitled "Wanted: PrisMan." I'm not sure if his English name is PrismMan or PrisMan (it's Prisman in Japanese), because they pronounced is distinctly as "prism man" in the first episode... but it's not always safe to trust what Kids WB calls the episodes. The SparkMan intro episode has had three fairly unique titles now. For now, I'm going with PrismMan.

Nonetheless, I'm really eager to see how they handle Misaki's transformation.

Yes, that's Terry Klassen. He played Krillen AND Hachi. But the Krillen we're talking about here is the one from back when Ocean Studios did the voicework for Dragonball Z. The Krillen that was in the rest of the show is voiced by Sonny Straight, but Terry Klassen played Krillen in the Canada and UK dub of Dragonball Z.

Ok, my thoughts on "The BattleChip Gate" are coming at ya. Here they are:

I've waited all week to see Dark ProtoMan in action, so I finally got my wish. Of course, I was scared when he appeared near the end. CF MegaMan tried to attack Dark ProtoMan, but no success. Oh, I seemed to suspect that Manuela is up to something. I mean, she may be part of the NetPolice, but something tells me that Manuela may not be the real Manuela after all. Ms. Yuri may be behind Misaki's plan to cross fuse. Don't you think? Oh, I thought that GravityMan in the prism was funny!

Edits: CF MegaMan crashing into a building in the dimensional area was cut. Plus, the GigaCannon blasting through GravityMan was cut.
