Connection between DS navis and the DS?

i highly doubt it but there arent any connections between there being DS navis in BN5 and the nintendo DS.....i was curious to know....hope this isnt a dumb ass question.......

It's just a coincidence. Twice a coincidence. SP (GBAsp) navis and DS (NDS) navis. It's just a coincidence, Soul Pure and Dark Soul.

SP doesn't mean SoulPure ...there were SP navi's before the introduction of the Dark Soul. Wasn't there a Magicman SP in the first game? o.O

It's purely a coincidence, though maybe if Capcom decides to make an original EXE DS game, they'll incorporate Dark Soul into the title as a kinda title pun. Other companies have punned DS in their game titles.

Lol I still call it Soul Pure. Forte XX... well i just considerit a DS form. Hes purple, and has black barrier. Pretty dark to meh, eh?

As for the topic, i think its too late to make a Darksoul-DS title, but theres always the next game.

DS is mainly Dark, and SP is basically Good. I'm not anymore sure about it than any of you.

ok, i think it's this

SP = Special (basically a special version of the navi, with maybe a couple new attacks and much powerful)

DS = Dark Soul (notice when you fight them they have a purple color to them, that's cuz they are the navis corrupted with the power of the Dark Chip, so they are a lot stronger on their attacks

Those are logical examples on my theories at least, especially the DS one it's obvious

and no, no connection with the names to the Game Boys or DS', so don't expect a cool feature or something Razz
