Its about this guy who is rasied by cats and he plays a game where he launches marbles. That pretty much it, not much of a series I have watched a few episodes.

That alwas looked weird to me. I was suprised when they actually made an Anime about spinning tops, but about Marbles?

B-Daman is an old game. It was with Bomberman, if I remember correctly. Battle B-Daman is an anime, so it goes in the Anime, Games, and Manga section.

I was doing manga summaries for this, but the forum I did it at collapsed. The creator went corrupt and deleted it :/

If I remember correctly, B-Daman was made by the same company that made Bakuten-Shoot Beyblade. The anime was released in Japan around the time season 3 of Beyblade was over. That was in 2003. Presently, another season of B-Daman called "Bedaman: Fire Spirits" is on air in Japan. No offence to it, but it's worse than Beyblade. Beyblade was much more enjoyable than B-Daman.

This is one of the animes that is being aired in the UK, and one that I think makes a lot of people think that all anime is for kids. We currently get nothing that is worth watching. Heck, they've even taken off NT Warrior.

You know I watched beyblade but a game about marbles? That's a little to much for me to really watch. I catch an episode or two. (Is that terry character a boy or a girl?)

I found out from some commercials on Jetix/Toon Disney that they just made Battle B-Daman toys. :O Don't they know you can blast someone's eyes off with those marble blaster?! Well, it depends on how hard the marble are shot, but still..... >.>;

It's not that bad, actually. I would eatch it, but I always miss it when it's on. Even though it's not the greatest, it's cute and funny, so I like it. I wouldn't spend my momey buying the merchendise mind you, but it's still enjoyable.

B-daman is a decent show, but I'd personally rather watch Beyblade. Hmmmm, lets see, a show about Tops, or a show about BB's and launchers. Beyblade is a lot better than B-daman. I have to admit though, I don't hate B-daman.

I prefer Battle BDaman over Beyblade because well simply. It is interesting. Yamato is well funny, he eats full fish sandwiches for cryout loud, nothing like that has happened on Beyblade.

Bull's three personallities are intertaining and I don't think there was any Skitzo in beyblade.

The other characters are slightly generic but still. [spoil:8249facf3f]You cant beat a Giant talking cat who makes marble shooters. Or an alterain Resturaunt.[/spoil:8249facf3f]

I could go into along explanaition of why I prefer BDAMAN but I wont because It would be about 5-10 paragraphs long and a bunch of it wouldn't make anysense. I tend to shift from semi normal person to person that remembers almost everything that he doesn't pay much atention to. Ask Mugen.exe he is a good friend of mine and knows how I get when I start to explain things when I am tired, or in a good mood. (which is usually the same thing.)

The Anime is quite a while ago, the Japanese name is "Bakugaiden B. Daman" Right?

I kind of enjoyed the show a little before though. It was quite funny at some parts and yes, bomberman guys firing marbles... both were enjoyable though.

The GBC game was fun as well lol

BTW, this is a bit off topic, but has anyone notice that most of the VAs for Battle B-Daman sound like the ones from the Digimon series? Check it:

Yamato - Takato from Tamers
Bull - Izzy from Seasons 1 & 2
Grey - Henri from Tamers
Gwen ( Um, Lee's brother. -_-; ) - Kazu from Tamers
Lee - Ken from Season 2

There are a lot more. I wonder why so many charaters in Battle B-Daman sound the same as some charaters from Digimon...? Confused

Yeah I think that the original anime was Bakugaiden B Daman, however the one airing here is B Densetsu Battle Bdaman, which translates to B legend Battle B Daman.

Argh this show is one of my guilty pleasures. I watch the show everyday. (I need to catch up on some eps.) I dunno why I enjoy it, I guess it's because it's really corny, and I like the Wild West motif.

Also I collect B-daman, I have a collection of vintage B-daman. The only Battle B-daman I own right now is Wing Ninja.

B-daman actually has several anime series
-B-daman Bakugaiden- this one had bomberman, but with a belt that launched marbles. He also had a mech.
- a toyetic b-daman series (forgot the name)- I heard this one was iffy
-Battle B-daman- another attempt at being toyetic, but this one is fairly decent
-Bdaman fire spirits- sequel to Battle B-daman

B-daman originally looked like bomberman, but later on they became more focused on designs like mechs. Rock Man EXE and Blues EXE had b-daman recently.
